This place is a great place to relax and enjoy the environment. The ducks, the turtles, the STAFF!! The store staff are great and really care about that places

Stayed for coachella and had so much fun! I met the nicest people who were also staying at this resort. Hailey the manager is so cool and very nice! They passed out a lot of free drinks to people in the pool area, every morning they had good coffee, and at night the free pancakes were incrdible!! Thank you for providing the pancakes, it was a big selling point for my friends. Hot tub, pool, bathrooms were all very clean. Shuttle bus comes once every hour, I do think 2 busses alternating every 30 mins would be better but we managed. The DJ was good. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends. There is a circle K closeby if you need more drinks, or food. Stayed in a Cruise America RV, picture of RV is from my house. Thanks again!!

First I like to take Ruben. He wax the first person we meet. Very helpful. Not only to us but our new friend. Hailey the manager was amazing. I feel that all the staff are great because of her leadership. The pool was warm. The pancakes were fluffy. I would 100/100 recommend here for any event. Next year I'm coming back just to stay at the resort. DJ P wee took request and we had dance comp, lip syncs battles and Easter egg hunts. My friend found a golden egg. There was a nice girl with curly hair, cleaning her but off and I forgot his name but I call him bad bunny, he helped with trash and anything we needed. The shuttle guy was amazing too. I think shadow hill deserves a closer spot for shuttle pick up but it is a lot of car camping at Coachella so we are appreciative that we had a cute school buss shuttle. I had a blast. Also every one was so kind. I have never seen so many beautiful people get out of tents and RVs. So if you want a boring RV resort this is not for you.

I would recommend two bunch palms in Desert Hot Springs , It is expensive but worth it. https://twobunchpalms.com/

Are there any particular RV spot #s that would be better for small kids? We'll definitely be using the pool while we are there. Will have an infant and 3yo with us.

The resort is beautiful with lots of great amenities such as a their 18- hole putting course, 2 heated pools and hot tubs, pickleball courts, billiards, a clubhouse and bar, fishing ponds, golf cart rentals, and so much more. The sites are large but unfortunately graveled. With a resort this nice, concrete pads would have been a better choice. The resort is quite large and it could be a bit of a walk depending on your site location so I'd recommend bringing bikes unless you would prefer to rent a golf cart. They have a nice walking path on the property and dog parks and stops for your fury friends along the way. Overall it was a great stay filled with lots of fun memories and beautiful sunsets. So much that our members can't wait to come back next year. Highly recommend this resort.

There are only 28 pull thru sites for short term rental. And they are located right at the park entrance with no gate, no check-in stop and no lighting, cameras or security. The first and only night we stayed here our $2,000+ electric bike was stolen off our locked and covered bike rack at 3:30am. And the Thule bike rack was ruined. We were awakened at that time by a loud but short motor sound followed by a bang and a shaking of our trailer. At first we thought the wind had blown something into our trailer. It took a couple of minutes to gather our thoughts and look out the windows before going outside. After cautiously proceeding, it was discovered that our bike had been stolen. The next morning we spoke with another camper 1 space over to see if he had seen or heard anything and he did hear the noise but didn't see anything. He also thought it might have been wind related and thus put his awing in. He did however, inform us that at check-in he was told "if you have bikes or camp valuables they recommend that you keep them inside your RV if you are gone or at night". The reason is they have had theft problems before in the RV pull thru sites. We were not given this piece of information. Also that morning we spoke with a full time resident who was taking a walk and she told us this has been a chronic problem at the RV pull thru sites and the complex has done nothing to resolve it. And they usually will warn you to secure everything. We did call the police and they came out to take a report and they confirmed that bike, motor cycle and car theft is pretty pervasive in this area. And they aren't sure why the complex hasn't done anything for better security. Now comes the bulls--t from the management or office staff. We went to complain and inform them of the theft and to request our money back. We also asked why they didn't inform us of the problem and the recommendation to lock stuff in your RV. The woman said "oh we never tell anybody that" which means our site neighbor and the resident just made that up. I asked why there is no gate or lights or cameras or security and here is her response. I paraphrase "The police don't care to even look at camera footage, the city won't let us put in a gate, (even though the police have recommended it), we are not responsible for stolen property or damages". I even asked why wouldn't you attach a flyer or note in the check-in paper work letting people know there is a theft problem in the area? Her response was "if we did that people wouldn't want to stay here". So the result is get your property stolen so we don't lose any customers. Now comes the wonderful customer service - NOT!! At first they offered to return our money. But after going through all the "why do nothing for security" options my wife said "well, we will be noting this problem in our review", and the lady responded "well, if you're going to give us a bad review, forget the refund" and threw my credit back at me. Good Sam has been notified of the park problems and that this park in no way meets the Good Sam standards and should not be recommended.

Should anything happen to your RV like ours did and needed to be serviced and we did not have to have access to our RV shower. The groundskeeper said he even looked at the map and agreed that it was listed nowhere on the e map that the showers close at 10 PM all that it says is the fitness center closes at 10, but that's not the same as a shower. I was not going to work out. I was going to shower. The two showers are located attached to the pool and I get that they want to close the pool off past 10 PM, but maybe they should build a separate shower for patrons separate from the pools so that if they need access and take showers after 10 o'clock that we have the option too. Also, there's no air conditioning in the bathrooms by the tennis courts. That was the only bathroom that's open 24 hours without a shower. There are bugs all over in the sink and the bathroom was 112° inside (at 10:30 at night) They should probably walk around the property as the ceilings are falling apart hopefully there's no mold in here that we are breathing. This is in the state of the Art workout facility with the ceiling about two pieces fall down. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was because the pool was nice that's it. However, the pool was closed due to pool cleaning on our first night here.

During my stay, I felt less like a guest at a RV resort and more like a contestant on a twisted game show called "What Will Get Stolen Next?" My bathing suit disappeared while I stepped into the shower after using the hot tubs. The towel I had brought into the sauna? Snatched. At this point I started wondering if I should chain my flip-flops to the chairs. What really seals the deal is the reaction from staff: a perfect cocktail of indifference and shoulder shrugs. Concerns about theft are met with the enthusiasm of someone being told their parking meter expired. It's almost impressive how deeply they seem to not care. There is an element of theft at Caliente Springs from their own residents. The blond "I dream of Jeanie" looking resident thief stole an expensive item from the sauna uses the tubs every day. I was told by another resident woman she saw this Barbie doll take my towel. Reported the thieving person and nothing. The staff didn't care and completely enables this behavior of theft.
