Been there twice and will be going a third, and a fourth! Staff is great and make you feel comfortable. You can smell the food as you park. Greeted by Alex who is as nice and humble as can be! First time went there on business, but Alex and staff were kind enough to treat my group with their famous Wagyu croquetas, let's just say that I didn't want to eat anything else because the flavor of that croqueta was WOW!! 2nd time around ordered the palomilla burger and that was also delicious! The burger is good, I wouldn't say that it's overhyped. It's very tender and they give you a great portion of beef. The hotdogs are also good. I just didn't like the vibe, it just seemed kind of stuck up and awkward, like they didn't want me there but I can't say the food was bad as far as taste. (*I can say for some reason I had a hard time digesting my meal *) I probably won't go back because Id rather just make my own food and not have to deal with awkwardness. It just seems to be the way things are in Miami, like you can't just chill, be yourself and hang out unless they like you. It's like they want you to pay them to make them feel good and comfortable. It's weird. Maybe it's a cultural thing where you are expected to pay your hard earned money to make a establishments employees feel good about themselves. I'm used to where you pay money for good customer service, to feel comfortable, enjoy yourself and your food. If Yelp had the option for 100 stars this would be it. Shadow Wagyu was not only a culinary experience, it but all the feels. Walking in, they had an awesome hip hop play list. The owner offered us a drink right away. He was incredibly personable and cool. We felt like we had arrived at a friends house for drinks and dinner. We were seated at the chefs table with picas already set out. The wagyu croquetas- this is another level of croqueta life. Just go by and order them. Cucumber avocado salad was liking and refreshing- loved the dressing. If all salads had dressing like that, well- I'd eat more salads. The little latke pancake thing with caviar was a nice bite size snack. The duck was to die for. I mean- it didn't even taste like duck. It was cooked to perfection! The tomahawk was amazing. Perfectly crusty sear with a tender bite. The rest of the meats - I know there was an acorn fed not sure what, and another steak with a sauce was mind blowing. Everything bite was better than the next. Best mushrooms I have ever had- I mean like amazing! The French fries fried in wagyu fat? Yes please! The chef also made a pesto pasta with lobster- to die for. Dessert was perfect. Vanilla wagyu fat ice cream with a homemade churro topped with sesame seeds and green onions. Green onions? Why, yes and it was delicious! Chef was awesome. Staff was awesome. Owner was awesome. Definitely worth the splurge! Shadow wagyu is just an experience. These guys deserve all the success. Amazing food! I've had the Churrasco, the ropa vieja, the cheese burger,the fried cheese, fries, croquetas,and their Philly cheese which is phenomenal. The Philly is seasonal /special occasions only so ask about it and if you get lucky and they have it on the menu order it! I also did the chefs tasting in the back with a group of friends which is also superb! They started the night with caviar and ended it with their churros and ice cream, which is infused with meat fat and topped off with steak sauce, sounds crazy? It is, it's fire! read more

Let me start by saying, best Churrasco and Picaña we've ever had! We purchased 2 boxes for Father's Day gifts but ended up keeping some of the items. I just left Shadow Wagyu after ordering two cheeseburgers and an order of fries and two waters. My wife and I intended to eat inside the restaurant; however, after ordering, I heard the music they were loudly playing inside the restaurant. The music was offensive to say the least with lyrics mentioning lesbians wanting d**k, pu**y, ni**ers, and the f bomb multiple times, as well as talking about smoking meth. I told the server to pack our food to go and stepped outside and waited for the order. After the waitress gave us the order I expressed my disgust over coming to a business where people come to eat and pay good money for the food and having to leave because of offensive music. She looked at me like I fell from space. I told her that they should consider that people come in to eat with their kids, as there was a dad in there with a boy who looked about 10 years old. Clearly, no one can force their morality or views views on anyone however, this is a restaurant, charging a premium price and you would expect a more pleasant atmosphere. I have not even tasted the food yet, but left that establishment so infuriated that I didn't want to wait on my review. I had heard great things about their food, and this was the first time stepping into the place. Horrible first impression and will never return. read more

Well this turned out to be a total gem. The reviews were not wrong at all, high end artisan butcher shop with bar stools and seating for amazing Wagyu delights. Four of us booked the chefs table, that is inside the kitchen and were treated like part of the family. We were seated right behind the chefs ranges and were treated to a warm welcome, spectacular Japanese and Domestic Wagyu cuts prepared with precision and love. Spanish giant red prawns, perfectly seared scallops on a bed of clam risotto, seared fois gras on a bed of butternut squash purée blended with mascarpone cheese and butter. It continued with Colorado lamb chops, gigantic tomahawk steak, cooked and sliced to perfection. The champagne and Malbec wines added a perfect pairing for the meal. The chefs and owners couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, especially as we had a gluten allergy that was catered for with a smile. We left buying a ton of meats to take home.
