I've been eating at Bugatti since I was little -- it's been our neighborhood Italian spot for nearly 30 years! And, guess what, it's maybe even better than I remember it. Don't even get me started on the bread and butter... that crunchy bread. I was also always in love with their Bombay Ravioli (curry chicken with almonds), and it was just as good this last time. Went for dinner during Miami Spice. They have a $45 and a $60 option. Ended up ordering à la carte instead because I didn't need an appetizer or dessert. There was an item on their Miami Spice menu that wasn't on their normal menu that I wanted and they were able to accommodate me. Food was delicious, I had a chicken parm. Back in the day - maybe 30 years ago - this was the best upscale Italian restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, the menu doesn't appear to have changed much and it's frankly just "old." Too many heavy sauces and old fashioned, clunky recipes. And multiple chicken dishes on the menu? I can eat that at home. No veal on an Italian menu? Coconut shrimp as an appetizer? The food is decent, if nothing special, but the service is incredibly nice and professional. One of the best Italian restaurants in Miami. I love love love their tiramisu. It is the best tiramisu in Miami in my opinion. It is a gem in the gables. We were attracted by the name but didnt know everything could be so delicious. My boyfriend and I both ordered 2 pastas, it is sooooo good. Like one of the best ones we ever had. We went on a Thursday night. The restaurant was on the more quiet side which is what I love. The waitress was so nice. Will be back soon again :) read more

We have gone here for years - one of our earliest dates. Service was excellent as usual - why we needed without having to ask for it, but not intrusive. My husband and I have dined here more times than I can remember. They are a solid 4 overall. Their food is generally delicious. A couple of dishes might not be a 5 to us but that happens everywhere. Service has always been top notch and that makes us come back every time. Last time was Oscar and he did and excellent job. Food wise I highly recommend the creme brulee, their fish (mahi or branzino) with black risotto, the pasta con frutti di mare, the calamari fritti and the carpaccio di manzo. Oh, the ambience is welcoming as well. Not the super bright light that makes you feel you are about to perform surgery but not the extremely dimmed one that makes you take your phone out to read the menu. Great food and very relaxing atmosphere (based on the time we went at 6:30 on a Tuesday evening). We loved it!; from start to finish. Authentic and quality Italian food with a twist. The spin on the tiramisu was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. An orange zest was what spruced it up and though it's a very lite zest, you know it's in there and it's done eloquently and made to perfection. I loved it! I wish I could give this restaurant more stars but I can't. My wife and I like to do lunch for Miami Spice. This way we can try different restaurants and see which one we like for a repeat visit for dinner. We tried Bugatti for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was good, waiters were nice and it looked clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I paid for the bill and the price for two persons was $80, which was kind of odd. Most lunches for Miami Spice are $35 a person, so it should have been $70. I should have paid more attention but got distracted by weather and parking. Anyway, when I got home, I checked on the Miami Spice website to see what it says. Bugatti is available for lunch and dinner, and the lunch is advertised as $35. So, it is either false advertising, or they overcharged me. Which is odd as well because the bill said "lunch fixed price". A bit cheap for a restaurant to do this, especially this one with a reputable name. Too bad because we would like to have gone back for dinner, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Amazing! Amazing! Although I understand they have been at the same location for 32 years, I had never been. The food was so delicious. We had the Carpaccio di Salmon for an appetizer. So fresh it melted in your mouth. I had the Linguine con Frutti di Mare as my entree. The sauce was light yet favorable and it mixed so well together with the abundant seafood. Yum! I was not able to finish it. I wanted to but couldn't lol. For desert we shared the raspberry cheesecake. Loved everything and our server Andres was so courteous and helpful with our choices. The courses were timed perfectly and temperatures were hot but manageable to dig in right away. Did I forget to rave a out the bread? I came for the famous Lasagna Day I kept hearing about at work, and it did not disappoint! The special comes with a soup or salad, both amazing. I got the corn and chicken soup special, so good and tasty! The lasagna comes in a delicious white sauce that is the perfect combo with the classic lasagna. It was pretty perfect, including the size. The bread was also amazing! Half is crunchy half softer bread. The soft is perfect for dipping in oil and vinegar and the more toasted bread is perfect to dip in soups. I also have to do a shoutout to our waiter Santiago who was so lovely, he truly made the experience that much better. He is also a fan of the lasagna and gets it every Wednesday lol. Came here after eating something small at a restaurant nearby and I ordered a frutti di mare and a calamari to start. It didn't have much of a taste and the lemon and sauce only did so much. I'm from Boston so the calamari down here doesn't really hit the same but it was okay, nothing crazy. The frutti di mare I couldn't get myself to finish... it tasted a little odd and wasn't really for my tastebuds, however, I did try to enjoy it to the best of my ability. Overall, this place isn't completely terrible, but it also is not that great. Not even just for the price but I could've been better off not coming here to dine in the first place to be honest. I was waiting for our waiter to come back to ask for the check and we waiting 30 minutes for our waiter to check on us. And then waited an additional 15 min for him to give us our check. read more

I have been wanting to come back to Bugatti and give it a second chance before I wrote the review. The first time was probably a few months ago and had its hits and misses. So I decided to come back, try different things and then give my opinion. On my first visit to Bugatti I had as an appetizer the soup of the day which was a cream of asparagus and it was just okay. Also had the fried calamari which was nicely breaded and the tomato sauce was decadent and light. This time we ordered the minestrone soup which was good... but came cold to the table. The fried calamari is still good. The entrees menu is not big but it has your usual Italian classics. (Their is no kids menu or portions) We ordered the salmon Finocchio which comes with a light wine sauce and vegetables, penne bolognese (which was supposed to be penne with pesto sauce), and tagliolini carbonara. Pasta was cooked good but the carbonara sauce was very salty.... I guess the pancetta overpowered the sauce and it was a bit too much. Service is okay... aside from the penne pesto switched to penne bolognese (waiter oversight) it was friendly and attentive. Probably will not come back here anytime soon. I would skip this place if you are in search of an Italian restaurant.... what I mean is, this place is not the worst but from prices to execution there are far better choices. read more

This has been a family favorite since it opened in the 80s. I remember going as a young child, (back before I understood carbs and calories,) and gorging on their bread I can still remember getting in trouble for using six butters on 8 pieces one time! As an adult who no longer lives here, it is always an absolute treat to visit Bugatti. If I'm in Miami and don't go there, I'm upset. Although I don't consume very many carbs any longer, I must break whatever eating plan I'm on to enjoy at least one piece of bread and the spaghetti pomodoro. While all their food is fantastic, I prefer the basics because their food is that good! Their pomodoro sauce is simple yet oh so delicious, while their (homemade) pastas are such a culinary treat! Over the last 30 years of going, I have either ordered or tasted most of their dishes and specials. I have yet to be disappointed. Even their seemingly basic Bugatti salad is amazing! I highly recommend Bugatti to anyone looking for a delicious Italian meal in Miami. read more
