Okay, so this place is called My Cousin Nick, which already made me laugh because I actually dated a Greek guy named Nick once....and let's just say this restaurant definitely doesn't suck like he did. Hands down, one of the best gyros I've ever had. The chicken was wild...somehow crispy like bacon strips but still juicy and loaded with flavor. They pile it high with perfectly seasoned fries . Fries were so good has to order a separate side of just these andhonestly, they're fries I'd write a love letter to . To top it off we also got a side of the homemade hummus that was also chef's kiss perfection. 10/10 would go back, and this time I might actually tell people I have a "cousin Nick" I'm proud of.

Come with me to My Cousin Nick, located in Coral Gables. My Cousin Nick is the latest hype spot in the Gables, and it deserves all the hype. I went for lunch and was impressed by the menu, prices, and portions. On this visit, I had their Pita Club Sandwich and their Fries with Creamy Feta. Their Pita Club is good for sharing; my coworker and I shared it, and there was still food left. We had chicken, and it was delicious, loaded with chicken. Their portions are so generous that I was amazed to watch them make them. The Fries with Creamy Feta were good, but not my favorite. Overall, My Cousin Nick was excellent. If you plan to go during lunch, I recommend ordering avaras, as it gets busy and it's a small spot. I will be back.

The service is fast. Restaurant is super clean. During the hours of 12-1 you have the lunch rush. The place is small and mighty. I had a chicken gyro and it was filling and amazing. Couldn't eat it in one sitting. The catch here it tastes even better after reheating in the air fryer. 10/10.

My Cousin Nick delivers a strong, modern take on Greek comfort food with generous portions, great prices, well-executed authentic flavors and friendly service. The loaded fries with chicken has some crispy fries layered with well-seasoned chicken, balanced sauces, and toppings that add richness without turning heavy. Personally the chicken is ok compared to the gyro. The gyro wrap is so bomb!! Warm, soft pita, tender meat, and sauces of choice. The build-your-own bowl with lamb offers flexibility without sacrificing quality; the lamb is flavorful and cooked well, paired with fresh bases and toppings that make the bowl feel complete rather than assembled. Will definitely go there more often because the price to quantity to quality balance is unmatched. Welcome to the gables

Good spot, cute ambiance, the young man delivers excellent service! We had gyros salad and sandwich. The meat was a little inconsistent throughout so that was a bit of a buzz (hence the minus 1 point) and they packed it with meat. The baklava we found to be too sweet and the salad was good. I don't know if I would go again but I encourage others to check it out and enjoy!

This is a great addition to the Gables that actually meets the hype! We stopped in on a Friday around 8:30. All the inside tables were full but by the time we decided what to get and got the food, a few spots opened up. We were informed they were out of chicken and pork, but still had plenty of lamb. We opted for a lamb gyro and loaded fries with lamb. The gyro comes with fries in it. It's a huge portion size, big enough to share or have some as leftovers. Same with the fries- they are truly loaded! There is a good proportion of fries to meat to toppings. The fries are crispy and good on their own. We also liked the honey mustard dipping sauce. Pretty good value for the price considering the portion sizes. The lamb seemed fresh and not too greasy or dry. It's very clean and the the service was great. Everyone is so friendly and patient, and they are actually from Greece! Definitely stop in for a delicious, quick meal in the area.

Delicious! Lamb gyro was ginormous. Staff was really friendly and the restaurant was bustling for lunch. Cant wait to try more on the menu.

Wow this was the absolutely best gyro had and their Greek garlic aïoli sauce hit the spot!!! wow I was completely amazed at all of that was only $14 and I feel so full from it and it was all so so so good and I figured out how to eat the Gyro and get the fries in the meat all at the same time! The place is in a very convenient location to where I live, and the service people absolutely amazing. He provided me ketchup and garlic, aïoli on the side for no extra cost. It is a small shop in the coral Gables complex! Will definitely be coming back here

Good food, chaotic and confusing ordering experience but non the less is a good value for the money, will make a strategy for ordering on my next visit .

This review is based on the food only since I had it delivered and haven't been to the actual restaurant. First of all, holy portion size. I got the cousins platter and you can easily get 2-3 servings out of it. The salad was so fresh, the fries and the lamb perfectly seasoned. The halloumi with hot honey is not to be missed and their tzatziki was quite possibly the best I've ever had. Will eventually make my way there in person, since I'm already considering when I'll be eating it again.

Delicious food and fast service. This place gets busy, which is always a good sign to me. I was so impressed by the flavor of the food and the generous portions that I decided to leave a review while still at the restaurant. Sorry for the half eaten picture, I started eating before I thought to take one.

My Cousin Nick is the perfect definition of delicious Greek style street food. We walked in to a slammed hole in the wall meets fast-casual style restaurant. Seating is limited but people coming in and out as quickly as the food was being made. We ended up getting lamb gyros, and loaded fries topped with lamb. We didn't realize both were essentially the same thing but I'm glad we got both because they were equally delicious. The fries come with an almost looking Greek salad on top and huge portions of the lamb. Generous portions of lamb in both the Gyro and the fries. Everything was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and what stood out to me were the sauces.

The gyro meat was excellent--crispy, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. It came with pita, tzatziki, and traditional fixings, and everything on the platter worked beautifully together. The tzatziki, in particular, was some of the best I've had--fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Truly outstanding. The grilled vegetables were more uneven. There was a nice char overall, and the charred asparagus stood out as especially delicious. However, the rest of the vegetables felt under-seasoned and lacked flavor--something as simple as a bit of salt could have made a big difference. The biggest disappointment was the meatballs small plate. While the portion was generous (six meatballs), unfortunately they were extremely dry and largely inedible. Between two of us, we managed only one--and that reluctantly. Bottom line: Meraki clearly does some things very well--especially the gyro platter and tzatziki--but a few dishes need refinement. With some improvement in seasoning and execution on certain items, this could easily move from good to excellent.

Parking is great at Merrick Park because there is a covered parking garage for only $3.00 per hour close to the restaurant. We ordered the following drinks to start with 3 Tajin Margaritas - the 1st 2 were great, the last one was pure booze, which isn't bad but takes away from the nice flavor of the drink. 5 Seagrill Mojitos, first two were good, the last ones were very watered down and not sweet. And a Blue Mimosa, made by combining Blue Curaçao with dry Prosecco. It was pretty terrible. Bread basket with bruschetta, garlic butter, regular butter & olive oil - DELICIOUS! Bread was pillowy soft yet still warm and toasted. The Fried Zucchini & Eggplant was ONLY Zucchini. These were supposed to be thinly sliced & served crispy but arrived at our table soggy, limp, and soft. Which means they were left out waiting for us. We ordered the following for our mains: * The lentil soup to try it. It was very nice. * Pennette Villagio with chicken added. Penne pasta with fresh spinach, sun dried tomatoes and parmesan cheese. The menu said the item came with pine nuts, but it didn't have any. The taste was good, I just wish this pasta had more sauce and pine nuts sprinkled on top. * Spaghetti Carbonara Spaghetti chopped pancetta, egg yolk, parmesan and cream. Left much to be desired. Dry dish with little to no ingredients. * Linguine Nettuno Flat thin pasta served with an array of seafood and tomato. This was probably the best dish. Had lots of fish and seafood, as described. For dessert we ordered the following: Crème brûlée - was very good! And the Galaktoburekto, which left a little to be desired. I've tried this desert in Greece & several Greek restaurants, this one is by far the driest & toughest one to eat. Overall, this restaurant is absolutely breathtaking & the menu has lots of options. However, the food & drinks weren't great. I'm not sure if I would give them another chance, since we came on a Sunday and this was obviously too much for them to handle.
