Noticed that the man at the grill was busy shaking dice and having a good time with 4 guys at the bar. 2 to go orders were picked up and I had my boyfriend go up and see if they started our food. He had not. We waited to 30 minutes and nothing. Very disappointed and upset. We paid for our Bloody Mary and a soda and left. Customer service was very poor tonight and nothing after 30 minutes. Within minutes we had drinks and were carrying on like regulars. While drinking our well poured drinks we looked over the menu. While it wasn't huge, it offered a little bit for everyone. We ended up ordering chicken sandwiches. They came out a short time later and looked delicious. In fact, we thought they were some of the best chicken sandwiches we had eaten in years. While we finished our drinks and meals, the true regulars told us not to miss the chicken and fish served by the bar/restaurant. Based on our first experience, we are planning on returning try out the meals recommended by the people we met on our first visit!

The French dip was shockingly NOT a salt bomb - which was a pleasant surprise. It's the first time I've had a French dip where I actually wanted to dip it in the side of au jus to give it a flavor bump. The real gem is Tanner's amazing selection of sides to choose from - you can swap in a twice baked potato, kettle chips with French onion dip, steamed broccoli, grilled asparagus or potato salad! Any other place would up-charge but Tanner's doesn't. I chose grilled asparagus and appreciated the separate packaging so the sandwich didn't get soggy.
