My suggestion is go early - ride the lazy river and whatever you really want to ride. This place fills up quickly. If you have little kids I'm sure they would have a blast. However our older kids got bored quickly and literally said - this is it?? The lazy river is small The outside water slides are very simplistic and can get huge lines. The wave park is small there's no other word here to even begin to describe it. The one flow rider that they have - the two guys running it let a person on and gave them all sorts of time if they liked the person. 4 people were in front of my kids and it took more than 45 min for them to get a turn. So not worth the wait. Granted we have been to Hershey Park water park which is about 10x+ bigger than this waterpark. We also are close to Kalahari and Great Wolf both of which have larger water parks than this place. Overall review 2.5 stars - again little kids would probably have a great time. Older kids not so much. However the price tag just isn't worth what you get. Beware they are adding on an adult only area. Looks to be more hotel than waterpark.

So almost a decade. Since I had been here. There has been so many additions and improvements to this waterpark. I love that they are putting an edit into improving the park. Every time we come, we never pay for the waterpark because we attend the seminar for the timeshares and they give us free passes! I love that I am now able to pass this tradition on to my children.

11/1/19 One of the first blast of rollercoasters I have been…read moreon. I believe this is the first blast coaster I experienced. Since then, I have been on many other blast coasters. On 8 May 1999 I heard advertisements for The Joker's Jinx . I remember I didn't like the ads for the ride, but I knew I would certainly ride this ride. The day I went to the park, I rode many rides, because I know the line for this ride would be long no matter what time I went. When I finally arrived to the ride, the line was long, but there were refreshments for those in line. The lemonade hit the spot and I had plenty of time before I rode the ride to get the fluid into my system. When I saw the paint job for the Joker, I never thought emerald green and purple went well together, BUT THEY DO. Oh, I was young back then. I even bought a Joker's Jinx tee shirt. At that time I wore a large tee shirt. I don't remember what happened to the shirt, but I know I through...no...I believe I gave it to good will. When I finally got to the gated area, you had to pass by several mirrors that made you look distorted. For my first experience I went straight to the back where I had to wait a little longer. Why, because the rear is tighter? Because I like it in the rear? Or because the rear of the car is the fastest. This answer is the best answer. The front is the slowest, but the rear end gets pushed forwards because of the force of the front of the car. The middle seats are a natural point. In this case since it is a blast coaster it pretty much doesn't matter until you feel the rear end of the car moving faster from the pulling of the rest of the cars. The spiraling looks to the side way turns make this rollercoaster a lot of fun. Listening to one of the operator say "Hands Up, hands up, I wanna see your hands." Once everyone's hands were up, he would hit the go button and everyone in the coaster cars would shoot forwards. I would love to say The Joker's Jinx started the blast coasters craze, but it wouldn't be true. Still, I had a lot of fun. This ride is a steel ride and steel rides have been know to be smoother than the wooden rollercoasters. I wouldn't mind going on this ride again. I would call this a high thrill ride.

The foam pits at the ninja course at pretty shallow and could ideally be twice as deep if not more. And there is very little actual supervision- kids climbing up slides, throwing balls at each other, racing around without any regard for smaller kids. A few of my colleagues and I thought it would be fun to do during some down time after our conference was done, so we decided to check it out. Admission to the Wheel is $18 + tax. We came during our lunch break on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded at all. The ride itself lasts about 15 minutes, and makes 4 to 5 complete revolutions. The cars are fully modernized - they're air conditioned, equipped with emergency buttons should you need them, and can hold up to 8 people. Views were great - you can fully see National Harbor, and in the distance you can spot parts of DC. Overall, The Capital Wheel is a fun time - it definitely adds to the overall aesthetic of National Harbor and worth a ride if you're in the area.
