Brought a seven pound dog to be groomed, charged me full price and only shampooed. Not honorable owner.

Words cannot describe how wonderful and caring the people at Shaggy Paws are to my pups. They just love to come and have their spa time.

I informed them she did have some mats. The woman I spoke with said I would need to text a picture. I explained I would try but the mats were on the cat's chest, and she is a furry Maine Coon, so it would be pretty hard to get a good picture. She agreed and said "I know, but the owner makes us do this" . It's pretty hard to take pictures of a cat's chest. They aren't the most cooperative animals. She's also very furry so mats can't even be seen, only felt. We took a picture, but didn't even get any of the mats in the picture. I sent it and explained that. The response I got "Unfortunately those look pretty bad and tight. Due to her age and severity it would be best to have those removed at a vet's office". That's funny, because there are NO mats in this picture. Not to mention they have been grooming her and removing the same exact mats for close to 10 years. I guess they aren't qualified or trained well enough to do it anymore, so we'll be happy to take our business elsewhere, and spread the word to our friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers

She lied and said he had a scan that fell off, when she had sliced his skin close to needing a stitch. I reached out to the owners and all they said is that they'll pay for the vet bill if necessary. They refuse to give me a partial refund on my $140 bill that the groomer LIED to me about and wounded my dog, after we have been customers for years. The groomer did not even finish drying his head nor cutting his finger nail and said I'd need to take him to the vet. The owners know all of this information and refuse to give me any money back. I am so disappointed. Accidents happen, but accountability was never taken and I am at a loss. If you want to risk your dog's safety and a company who takes no action, here's your team.
