The girls did a good job on my dogs, and the dogs didn't seem too stressed out, so I call that a win. One of my dogs need anti-anxiety meds on grooming day because she hates to be groomed. My male doodle is a good boy while being groomed, but he has high anxiety when he's around other dogs, so for them not to be too stressed out is a good thing.

However, when I called to discuss it with the owner, he was more than happy to help. He went through and investigated the situation/preference cards, did not blame it on staff, all while trying to provide the best customer service he could. They were able to fit my two dogs in last minute which I appreciated and they did an excellent job. Even if it was a sub optimal groom, having an owner who works with customers to try and navigate problems and make them right makes this business stand out. Thank you!

With all that has been unearthed about the contents of the vaccines and the side effects you would think there would be some flexibility or exemption for the owner's beliefs. This facility is not the only one I looked at and this requirement was standard in the others as well. I chose an individual pet sitter instead.

This place is a joke. They advertise mobile grooming, but my experience was anything but…read moreconvenient. About a year ago, I used Aussie Mobile Grooming and overpaid for a terrible haircut for my Chihuahua. I booked Bark & Mane thinking it was a different company, but apparently it wasn't. I scheduled my appointment for Sunday at 2:00 PM. I got home to make sure everything was ready, and instead of the groomer arriving prepared, I received a call saying she was outside and didn't know where to park. I told her I wasn't sure and asked if she had looked for a spot. She responded with an attitude, saying, "People usually tell me where to park." I was honestly confused. I asked, "What do you want me to do? I don't know where to park your truck." She then hung up on me. The appointment never happened. While I'm relieved I didn't end up paying for another poor grooming experience, it's unacceptable that a mobile grooming company expects customers to solve their parking issues. If you're operating a large grooming vehicle, figuring out where to park should be part of the job, not the customer's responsibility. If you live in the suburbs with easy parking, maybe you'll have a better experience. If you live in the city, I'd look elsewhere.

The woman I spoke with said I would need to text a picture. I explained I would try but the mats were on the cat's chest, and she is a furry Maine Coon, so it would be pretty hard to get a good picture. She agreed and said "I know, but the owner makes us do this" . It's pretty hard to take pictures of a cat's chest. They aren't the most cooperative animals. She's also very furry so mats can't even be seen, only felt. We took a picture, but didn't even get any of the mats in the picture. I sent it and explained that. The response I got "Unfortunately those look pretty bad and tight. Due to her age and severity it would be best to have those removed at a vet's office". That's funny, because there are NO mats in this picture. Not to mention they have been grooming her and removing the same exact mats for close to 10 years. I guess they aren't qualified or trained well enough to do it anymore, so we'll be happy to take our business elsewhere, and spread the word to our friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers

Michele made me an appointment a few days after I called and she came to my home! She gave Chelsea the best bath she's ever had, and then proceeded to give her a very careful grooming, and now she looks adorable! She even removed a couple of mats and trimmed up the nails of my other two dogs for me I would absolutely recommend Michele at Royal Vista Grooming, and I will definitely be using her again!

Dr. Garmin sat on the floor to play with my doggo to make him comfy with her. I also wanted to mention cause I saw some not great reviews regarding pricing. They told me they would charge me $25 for his senior well visit and the stitch removal was going to be complimentary over the phone. When I went to get charged they were going to charge me for both the visit and the removal but I brought up the phone conversation and they honored it without even checking with the staff who I spoke to. I really appreciated that. I thought that was an amazing price for both services and I appreciated how they handled the miscommunication. Great customer service!

When I called the woman who answers the phone in the office - the same one I told at the start of the year to remove me from contact, she blamed it on the boarding care side of the business. But it WASN'T, because the voicemail that I received was from the office for a follow up checkup - where he'd never been once in his life. They also emailed the same with the title of "we can't wait to see XXX again". I can't tell you what sort of grief this has caused me and no one apologized to me when I called to ask AGAIN for them not to contact me - not going back there. If they contact me again for my deceased beloved pet, I'm filing a complaint - not kidding about this.
