PupScrub's location in downtown Gresham had ample on-street or adjacent lot parking and the shop is easy to find off the busier streets in downtown Gresham. PupScrub is clean and there is a clear and logical arrangement of interior space for folks who want to scrub their pets. Once you walk inside, PupScrub staff are at the ready with a kind and sincere "welcome". Andrea (owner) presented me with a clear summary of PupScrub grooming services. The list of PupScrub dog grooming services is clear, concise and complete. PupScrub grooming costs are reasonable. The appointment was arranged, a partial deposit was provided and we'd got a reminder text with all the appointment information. On the day of the appointment, the groomer, Casper, greeted Odo and I warmly. Odo happily took to Casper right away and I felt very comfortable about leaving a Odo in Casper's care. Casper offered a brief summary of the grooming services and asked about our desired style of cut for Odo. Casper's grooming of Odo was excellent. Odo is happy and proud to sport his new blue bandana! Thank you Casper and Andrea for your excellent customer service and care of our pup Odo. We will be back again!

We were looking for a place closer to home to take our dog for grooming, as our previous groomer…read morewas a half hour drive away and essentially took two hours out of our day to drop off and pick up. We saw Pup Scrub on our way to the Gresham Farmers Market and looked them up. The scheduling process is quick and easy- you can book online and communicate with a real person via text message. You do have to pay a deposit up front to reserve your spot, but that is taken off your total after your appointment. The hours are very flexible and accommodating, and they even have a pick up/drop off service if you are without transportation or don't have time to make the trip. As far as the grooming, the groomer always checks in with you on what you want, but they also keep track of what was done previously. We keep our dog's cut longer in the winter, and the groomer did a great job judging the length I was going for without exact measurements. The groomer will also give you an estimate of how long it will take (usually no more than 2-3 hrs) and text you with any updates. You can also ask the groomer to give your pup a purchased treat after the cut! Prices are consistent with the cost of everything going up.

My dogs look terrible and the groomer was super argumentative as someone mentioned here. The story about cost and amount of time changed everytime they started a new defense. Julie told me never to bring my dogs back...as if I would considering how badly I was treated. After calling around to fix my dogs cuts, the mention of this places doesn't come with accolades. Wish I'd done more research. Never again.

My pug has a habit of scratching my mother and grandmother who have delicate and sensitive skin, so it's very important to keep the nails under control. Pugs are notoriously difficult to trim, and somehow Marlyna has discovered how to tame the beast! Thank you! This location in east Portland is easy to access, however the main door is down a short flight of steps. There are also several food carts in the parking lot in case you'd like to get a meal while your pet is being groomed.

Head and Tails sounded good. I get Jackson together and off we go. He's not a fan of the car. Nothing good ever happened to him after a car ride, save for today. He was wound up by the time we arrived. I talked with the Groomer and she got her friendly dogs in the back. I got Jackson out and he was already getting twitchy. I was there to hold Jackson. At 23 pounds. He's a Big Boy. When he gets mad, he can be very hard to control. I put a towel around Jackson to control him more. The Groomer was fast and as soon as she stopped touching Jackson, he calmed down and gave her a soft meow. I think he realized what happened and was happy. He was definitely more relaxed on the way home and took a minute to jump out of his cage at home. He usually runs from his cage and hides for a while. Head and Tails is my GOTO for Pet Grooming. At $10.00 they may be doing Jackson's nails from now on.

The drop off was easy and they said it could take up to 4 hours. I recieved a text about 3.5 hours later that my pup was done. Deidra came recommended by a friend and she did such a good job! My dog is usually clawing her way away from the groomer to get to me and this time she barely noticed I was there. That was a good sign that she had a better experience than normal. Diedra gave her the best body cut we have had and was able to do what has been fairly impossible in the past...she cut her nails all down really well!! The friend who recommended Diedra was a groomer and said "I trust her" and I can see why. We as owners do not know what goes on in the back, but fellow groomers do and that stamp of trust approval meant allot to this worried dog momma. I highly recommend Diedra and will be back! However, she love's Elizabeth who gets the job done without making my pup scared to come back. I also love Elizabeth's attention to detail ie handling yeasty paws and rugged claws after a trip to the farm. We feel very lucky to have a good groomer after losing Darcy. Darcy got my pup comfortable in the space young but Elizabeth keeps her currently content. There are other groomers we've had do walk in nails which is a service we love! I do think most are good but you'll have to try for yourself. Tip: if you need a groom but can't get into Lombard, Vancouver sometimes has openings. Best smelling soap ever in Vancouver.

I drive across town to take Hobi to her, I use the time to go sit at Edgefield (which isn't even ten minutes away). It's a nice treat for both me and Hobi! It's such a relief to drop her off and know I can be at ease that she's in very capable, professional hands! Check out the amazing pictures.
