My partner and I came in looking for Omega Oil. The employee, who was already at the cashier, stood up and stared at us as soon as we walked in. Once he told us where to look he hovered over counter and stared. At first, I didn't think much of it. We then asked where the dental cat treats were, and he walked us to the aisle--but instead of asking if we needed further help, he just stood there watching us. At this point my partner and I were having our own conversation about the treats, right in front of him. After we started looking through the treats, he moved to the next aisle over and continued monitoring us. Each time I moved, he seemed to move as well to keep us in sight. At one point, I turned around and saw him standing there petting some peacock feather or other times staring at products.The entire interaction made us feel singled out and extremely uncomfortable. I understand businesses need to be aware of theft, but there should be better guidelines on how to do that without making paying customers feel targeted. Though my cat loves the rabbit feet from this store, unfortunately I won't be returning after this experience.

First of all, when my dog showed signs of distress, the groomer immediately started scolding her, as if she was taking her stress out on my dog. Like, WTF? When I tried to step in, she walked toward the door to the back room which was super sus. I could tell the other groomer, who was working on another dog, noticed how bad the situation was getting and stepped in to help hold my dog. So I continued to monitor what was happening. When she finished, she walked toward me with a defensive attitude and said she "trimmed one of the nails too short, but it's not bleeding so it's fine." WTF? I asked her to show me which nail she meant, and she couldn't even identify it. When I saw it, it was trimmed really short and clearly looked painful. No wonder my dog was in distress. Then, as soon as I got into the car, I noticed bleeding on her back paw. I ran back in and told them my dog was bleeding, and again she got defensive, saying "Where? Where?" and tried to yank my dog's paws to check herself. When she finally saw the bleeding, she grabbed some kind of ointment or quick-stop powder and said, "Accidents happen." Uh, no. This wasn't an accident, it was incompetence. Honestly, her license should be reconsidered given her hostility toward animals and lack of technical skill. There was even more BS that came out of her mouth, but I won't bother including it here. Someone like her should not be handling pets at all. I was speechless at how unprofessional she was -- and even more shocked to learn that she is one of the owners, based on the photo here on Yelp. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Diamond Dogs is such a special place. It was the go-to for my Golden Retriever, Drevans, who required weekly bathing with medicated shampoo for his skin allergies. He would RUN to the door he loved Diamond Dogs so much. My new dog is a Great Pyrenees that is skitterish from living on the streets and hurts himself if crated. He needs patience and special attention. All three of the groomers have worked with him so that he is now relaxed and calm while being groomed. Like I said, AMAZING!

The vet said extremely likely came from the grooming. What was supposed to be a $95 bath and groom has now cost me $237. -------------- I had requested the 15 step grooming package listed $95 for my size dog on their website (which did not include haircut). When the groomer arrived, she asked what kind of haircut I wanted for my dog. I told her that I ordered the 15 step grooming package and just wanted to paws, sanitary cut, and trimmed around the eyes (what was included in the package). Flash forward, I get a text saying my dog is done and it's $130. I walked out to the van and asked why there was an extra charge and she told me it was booked as a groom and a haircut. I told her that that's not what I sent them and the price is listed as $95 on their website for what I requested. She told me she didn't know what was on their website. She also told me, "we nickel and dime for everything." Probably not something you should say to a customer who's complaining that you're charging them above the listed price of what was requested. The groom itself was decent minus the bowl cut my dog now seems to have. Wouldn't book with them again.
