My absolute favorite halal restaurant! I originally had them in orange, when I lived in New haven. Having relocated to danbury, I was honestly skeptical, because being the spoiled new haven-ite I am, eating in danbury has left me disappointed time and time again. However this location has NOT. The food is fresh, inexpensive and filling. I especially enjoy the fries and salata bowls. Whatever you do don't order their chicken nuggets. I got deathly sick after eating these. This place uses unhealthy oils and their chicken nuggets gave no resemblance of meat. The chicken was hard and solid and crumbled like Feta. The food here is cheap for a reason. You get what you pay for and in my case it was deathly sick. read more

After a long travel day, I decided to order some food and have it delivered to my hotel. The food came quicker than I expected, but when I tried it I was completely underwhelmed and disappointed. The chicken was orange - as seen in the picture. The hummus was not fresh, and tasted sour. I also ordered rice with lamb. The meat was not great, didn't look like lamb either. A great spot for a quick grab and go meal without sacrificing the quality of the food. They offer completely customizable bowls, gyros, as well as burgers and steak&cheese sandwiches. I got both the combo platter and gyro. I did the works on both, which included rice, chicken and lamb, peppers and onions, black beans, salata, chickpeas, hummus, and their specialty white sauce (and green sauce on the bowl). The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Price is affordable -- the bowl was loaded and only $11.99, while the gyro was $9.99. They paired perfectly with their homemade pakora chips, which are basically French fries but shaped as classic potato chips. Located next to Aldi where Boston Market used to be. We have gotten deliveries a few times but haven't been inside. Deliveries always arrive warm and quickly. There is an all day delivery special, buy one get one free on Uber Eats. The food is very good. Their lamb and chicken are both very good over the rice. You are able to make slight modifications to your meal if you don't want all the vegetables. The fries were surprisingly crispy. They season them with their special blends of seasoning. If you haven't tried Halal, no better place to start. read more

They have a two door Coca Cola cooler but appear to also sell cans from a smaller cooler behind the counter. I ordered takeout from here and the food was not up to what I was expecting. The gyros were great. The had very generous portions of meat and flavored right. I also ordered the fish platter. The deep fried fish was over fried. The rice was also undercooked as you can feel it was a little firm to chew. overall didn't enjoy the platter.
