The TPC (ThePilotCenter.com) website is really easy to navigate, and booking on their portal website Vagaro.com was simple. I was relieved to see there was plenty of availability, and could have managed a same day appointment (but I don't procrastinate when it comes to that First Class). Now what sets this office apart is their communication. Appointment confirmation when booked, a few days out I received an email and text to confirm, and the day before almost like a checklist to make sure I didn't forget any important documents (pilots love checklists). During the appointment the office visit was seamless and very efficient with little to no time wasted. Before I knew it Dr. Dykema was ready for me to head back. All of the same exam items one expects for a First Class (this time including an EKG because getting old sucks). The price is very reasonable and receipt was no problem for reimbursement from the airline. In the end, absolutely no reason to be nervous. I had a great experience, and expect you to have the same.

I thought he might have had an off day on my 1st visit, but 2nd and 3rd only got far worse, which were spread out over 6 months. He is the first doctor in my 25+ years who seems to genuinely **not care** about me getting better and helping me become a better patient. Having been married to an ER doc and being involved with docs for many years, from social circles, this is not a stellar patient advocate, nor educator, either. All attempts to ask questions resulted in one word replies and generally rushed out of the office. Take a look at my other reviews, it is the first 1-star -- ever. Unfortunately, it seems the bar is pretty low here in Phoenix, as compared to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Detroit.

wish I could rate this place lower…read more I went to this docter's office for four things: refill on anxiety meds, start a new medication for hand tremors, find a sleep study place for my sleep apnea and to find out if I have CANCER!!! (Painful lump on my testicle) what I got was Dr Elfat Rumman getting in my face and telling me I need to see a psychiatrist for my "overwhelming depression" and that "most men are scared to go." She would not stop telling me "you got a 10" I would ask what does that mean? "It's not good you got a 10. Your depression isn't being controlled." I wasn't there for depression! I asked her if there was another docter I could talk too. "No. I'm the only docter here." I was stunned to hear this. So I asked her to clearify that there were no other docter's that worked there? "Yes, why do you want to see a different docter anyway?" I told her because she wasn't listening to me. All she did was start talking about my "depression" and how bad it is. At this point I put my face in my hands and said.... "Oh. My. Fucking. God." Her response was and I truly do quote this. "that's a bad word, you need to leave." I left the room. Turns out there are several docter's on staff!!! Imagine that. The staff kept apologizing to me and put me in a different room to see another docter. At some point with me talking to the office staff Dr Elfat Rumman called the head physician and told him that I'm hostel and am making her feel uncomfortable. At this point the office manager came to me apologized some more and asked me to leave. She did refund my co pay. The only reason I came to this office is because my old primary closed up shop and sold all the patient care info to these new people. I got a letter in the mail asking me to come in to set up new care. Be careful going to this place. Who knows what you will be diagnosed with....

I recently had to get an ok from a PCP to start a new job, so at the time I had no insurance. I explained my situation and the office was nice enough to give me a huge discount for paying cash up front. He was personable and knowledgeable, but most of all, my visit did not feel rushed! I look forward to keeping him as my PCP.
