Had a great experience with our guides Tristin and Kalohi. They really kept the vibes high and made sure everyone felt safe and had fun throughout the tour. I liked that through each line, they gave options to ramp up (like going upside down) that made it fun. They also provided lots of bottled water. One thing that could be improved is that some of the signs have been rendered unreadable by weather over time. I liked reading the ones I could make out. Also, since this is branded as an eco-tour, it would be cool to hear more about the environment and how we can help preserve the 'aina. Thank you! read more

Zip line guides Don and Darien were friendly, knowledgable and confident which made our zip line experience super easy and fun. Highly recommend the 8 line rather than the 5 line. We had reservations in late December for the 5 line tour. Just got a cancellation email saying they have closed permanently. Called the number several times and no one is answering. Message says mailbox if full. I easily got a hold of them last month to ask a few questions. They show no availability to book on their website for the next several months. I filed a dispute charges claim with my credit card company since I did not get an automate refund from Shaka. The CC company said they will issue a temporary credit and that Shaka has 45 days to respond. If they can't prove they provided services the credit will stay on my account. I sent the cancelled booking email saying they had closed to the CC as evidence. Feel bad for any families that aren't aware and show up over the holidays for their ziplining. read more

Jen and Krystal trained us well; and provided a safe and exhilarating Zipline experience.

From start to finish, everything was organized. We checked in as a group and they explained all what to expect. They suggested using their Fanny packs (I had my own) for a much easier way to maneuver with the gear. The guys got us all secured in our gear along with helmets. Then we headed to load in the van to the adventure. Once there we were given important safety instructions on what to do and not to do when zip lining. The guys played fun music and was very informed on how to do tricks on the zip line. Our group consisted of ten people and was a great experience! I signed our family of four up for the short beginner course because it was a shorter time commitment and because a couple of us had never done it before. We were nervous at first, but the guides Desi and Tristan were great at making sure we felt safe and comfortable. After our first line we were all feeling confident and had a great time. the beginner course isn't super high, so it's perfect for anyone who doesn't care for heights. My family/I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this company. While they present themselves as trustworthy and ethical, my experience proved otherwise. They made promises they did not keep and seemed more focused on maximizing their profit than doing what was right for their customers. Their lack of transparency and integrity was apparent throughout the process. They stated one thing but acted in direct contradiction, which not only created confusion but also left us deceived. It's clear that their priority is not their customers but their bottom line. We booked the night before. I'm ready about to get in the next day. It was a blast. It was my eight year old daughter's first time and what was awesome is that we signed up and we're the only ones out on that tour that day our zip line tour guides were awesome and really went out of their way to make it a special and memorable experience for me and my daughter. My daughter said it was the funniest thing she's ever done in her life. The views were amazing, and the zip lines were much faster than I thought they would be. The "Hikes" to the zip-lines I'm not really hikes everything is pretty close to one another. There's a couple hills you gotta walk up there. I'll probably less than 200 feet each. Overall, I was a great day. Just don't forget your sunblock. read more

Shaka Zipline is a MUST DO! It was a blast! Safety was priority #1 ... We felt safe the entire time. The course is amazing - lush green with ocean views ... can't beat it! The crew was super friendly, fun and focused on each person .. me a wee bit more as I had to be rescued ( head shaking ...) - so, having that experience - besides being embarrassed - reinforced the professionalism & courtesy of the guides and also their mad-skills!
