I came on a Friday night and there was a long line. When I looked upfront, I realized why. There were only two people working there. But they were holding it down!! They were working hard to get everyone's order. I got the two piece dark. It took a little while, but it was worth it! Even though I ordered two, they gave me three - maybe because they were closing soon. The chicken was so hot and crispy and juicy!! And omg the hot-sauce! It was really good on the chicken. Their dirty rice is a little dry but not bad. Now for the catfish I actually enjoy it. The batter is the same as their chicken & the fish itself is moist and juicy. The desserts feel like it's store bought and not made in house but it's bearable. Overall, this location ain't it. It's located next to a gas station & the area itself isn't safe. The inside of the restaurant isn't clean either. Lazy & rude employees don't make it any better. If you want some good Frenchy's go to the one on 3rd ward.
