A shake with the whipped cream topping

Shake Shack has good hamburgers & they were #2 on the top 10 fast food burgers. The fries are the crinkle cut ones and served hot. The shakes were a little lackluster for what I expected and for $8. The service was quick.

Love me a good burger! This is fast fresh food. I ordered off an iPad but there is someone at the counter as well. It was quick and easy. I waited about 5 mins for fresh hot food. There is plenty of of parking and i will be back

    Burger with "no cheese"

When I asked for no cheese, they asked if it was for an allergic need or not. When I responded with the fact that I had lactose intolerance, they gave me a burger that had a half assed attempt to scrape some of the cheese off. Utter embarrassment of a franchise

    Burber and Korean chicken sandwich

Idk how they make their food *look* so good. But it's most definitely not worth the price. Its good. Just not $30 for lunch good. Better off going to a real restaurant

First time I went to this location when they opened it wasn't good. Been here again recently and everything. Was on point as I remembered in Boston. The place was clean, bathrooms where stocked and clean. Food was yummy and the service was friendly. The bread they use for the grilled cheese is yummy !!!

The place is just a week old and there are bugs to work out. Especially in the drive thru. The place opens at 11am and there are cars waiting in the drive thru at 10:45am so currently if you want to go here for lunch and you show up at noon, you will likely get your burger at 1:15-1:30pm. This is not their fault, there is a huge demand (saw 70+ cars in the drive thru the first week) for this new location, if it stays like this it could be problematic. Anyway they are currently trying to manage the volume ala' Chik-fil-a where they have people taking orders while you are in line, problem is, if it's your first time there and you haven't seen a menu, it's tough to provide an order when the person is standing 20 feet in front of the menu boards. Also the guy taking my order says when he hands me the credit card machine in the line "Sorry you can't provide a tip on this machine but we can accept cash tips" That's good to know if I ever think I should be tipping someone who takes my order in a drive thru. (rolling eyes)

Burgers and fries with shake sauce on the side

First time visiting this place. Not a bad experience, but not one I'd revisit again. Upon entering, patrons have the option of ordering food at the counter (which no one was tending) or order at one of the kiosks. I opted for the kiosk and table marker. Finding a table wasn't bad, there are a few high top table and chairs for 4 people or there's table, chair, booth seat for the rest of the restaurant. Outside seating is an option but it's still winter so that's out of the question. Amble seating, just not that clean. Food came out hot and quick. The burger was as greasy as it appeared in the picture. Fries were good, not overdone not underdone, just right! Tried a shake. One size only. Have to pay extra for whipped cream. It was good but a little too much thickness since it's custard based. The only interaction with employees was when the food was brought out. Didn't see anyone upon entering or exiting. And that interaction was quick. It's pricey for a basic burger, fries, and shake. $42 for two burgers, two fries, and two shakes. Wasn't expecting to pay that for lunch for two ppl. I tried this place but won't be coming back.

Chicken bites n fries with black n white small shake.

Ordered online and food was available super quick! Chicken bites were hot and flavorful. Black n white shake was top notch! I liked the fries too. We ate there on a weekday around lunch and it wasn't super packed so that was helpful since we didn't have a lot of time. The shuffleboard wasn't being played, but I will check it out next time! Cute place and we will be back.

I love me a Shake Shack and would often drive out of state to visit one for lunch. So when I heard they were coming to Lancaster I literally was counting down the days. I did wait a few weeks after their opening for them to work out the kinks after seeing long lines, and hearing horrible stories about their food. I've now been here twice and feel they still have some kinks to work out, and the Shake Shack taste and quality I'm used to isn't quite there...yet. If you go be prepared, lines are still long. Once the drive thru had window service with a live person taking your order, however he was slow and took orders out of order. Lines inside are just as long. My second visit the drive thru was working, but at a slow pace. However, I'm going to be patient, and continue visiting till they get it right!

When you enter this place its at ground level and immediately you recognize you need to take the stairs up. Once you usher yourself up it opens up to two areas where you wait to be seated. The place is an older vintage like gastropub where the front is one bar and some seating, but on the backside is more open seating with where the band and another bar are situated. This place isn't meant to be for large groups, but could possibly accommodate groups of 6. The main bar which also next to the kitchen is an older vintage style bar and whisky's is nothing special but once you sit down and hear the music you settle in nicely. Service has always been courteous and prompt and the menu looks like there are a good assortment of choices. The two times I've been here I've ordered the mussels which includes great sauce and spread with seasoned ground meet. Was so yummy! The second time I came I tried the CHICKEN FRICASSEE. Man was that great! It includes 4 pieces of bread, chicken and the mushroom sauce. So good! Both times I had some of their assortment of single scoop ice-cream which in this area, something about the milk from their amish cows is so creamy. All that said, this is one of my fav places to come enjoy a glass of wine and food. Oh and Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday's they have some instrumental band playing too.

There was quite a crowd at the bar, which I think may have been attributed to happy hour as it seemed to clear out about halfway through our dinner. They had a very good taste of them. They were served with three sauces, two of which were cream based and were pretty tasty. The third was supposed to be a curry sauce, but it was extremely thin and did not have a great deal of flavor. I have the bangers and mash and my wife had a steak. Both were very good. Service was OK but the bartender who poured my second Guinness could probably take a remedial lesson in how to pour a Guinness as it was definitely not a proper pour. Thankfully Mad Chef was open later than most places so we got in before the kitchen closed. I enjoyed the low lighting with the brewery equipment shining in the background. Having the Phillies game on the tv's only added to our experience. Our drinks and food were excellent. I always like to enjoy a local craft beer, having it paired on site with fabulous eats is even better. I ordered Mr Dynamite Brown, their American brown ale which was fabulous. We ordered a small Pommes Frites (French fries) that were cooked in Canola oil. While light in color, these fries were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, salted just right. My wife ordered the pretzel and said it was her type, buttery, salty, and doughy. I ordered the Korean Pork Nachos, by far the best nachos I've ever had the pleasure to devour. I can't begin to describe how well the roasted corn poblano medley brought this plate together. Every bite had an explosion of flavor with the Korean glaze and Gochujang aioli. This dish blows Guy Fieri's trash can Brisket nachos out of the water. If ever in Lancaster don't pass up on the Mad Chef Craft Brewing gem.
