A shake with the whipped cream topping

Shake Shack has good hamburgers & they were #2 on the top 10 fast food burgers. The fries are the crinkle cut ones and served hot. The shakes were a little lackluster for what I expected and for $8. The service was quick.

    Burger with "no cheese"

When I asked for no cheese, they asked if it was for an allergic need or not. When I responded with the fact that I had lactose intolerance, they gave me a burger that had a half assed attempt to scrape some of the cheese off. Utter embarrassment of a franchise

Love me a good burger! This is fast fresh food. I ordered off an iPad but there is someone at the counter as well. It was quick and easy. I waited about 5 mins for fresh hot food. There is plenty of of parking and i will be back

    Burber and Korean chicken sandwich

Idk how they make their food *look* so good. But it's most definitely not worth the price. Its good. Just not $30 for lunch good. Better off going to a real restaurant

First time I went to this location when they opened it wasn't good. Been here again recently and everything. Was on point as I remembered in Boston. The place was clean, bathrooms where stocked and clean. Food was yummy and the service was friendly. The bread they use for the grilled cheese is yummy !!!

The place is just a week old and there are bugs to work out. Especially in the drive thru. The place opens at 11am and there are cars waiting in the drive thru at 10:45am so currently if you want to go here for lunch and you show up at noon, you will likely get your burger at 1:15-1:30pm. This is not their fault, there is a huge demand (saw 70+ cars in the drive thru the first week) for this new location, if it stays like this it could be problematic. Anyway they are currently trying to manage the volume ala' Chik-fil-a where they have people taking orders while you are in line, problem is, if it's your first time there and you haven't seen a menu, it's tough to provide an order when the person is standing 20 feet in front of the menu boards. Also the guy taking my order says when he hands me the credit card machine in the line "Sorry you can't provide a tip on this machine but we can accept cash tips" That's good to know if I ever think I should be tipping someone who takes my order in a drive thru. (rolling eyes)

Burgers and fries with shake sauce on the side

First time visiting this place. Not a bad experience, but not one I'd revisit again. Upon entering, patrons have the option of ordering food at the counter (which no one was tending) or order at one of the kiosks. I opted for the kiosk and table marker. Finding a table wasn't bad, there are a few high top table and chairs for 4 people or there's table, chair, booth seat for the rest of the restaurant. Outside seating is an option but it's still winter so that's out of the question. Amble seating, just not that clean. Food came out hot and quick. The burger was as greasy as it appeared in the picture. Fries were good, not overdone not underdone, just right! Tried a shake. One size only. Have to pay extra for whipped cream. It was good but a little too much thickness since it's custard based. The only interaction with employees was when the food was brought out. Didn't see anyone upon entering or exiting. And that interaction was quick. It's pricey for a basic burger, fries, and shake. $42 for two burgers, two fries, and two shakes. Wasn't expecting to pay that for lunch for two ppl. I tried this place but won't be coming back.

Chicken bites n fries with black n white small shake.
    Kendra S.

Ordered online and food was available super quick! Chicken bites were hot and flavorful. Black n white shake was top notch! I liked the fries too. We ate there on a weekday around lunch and it wasn't super packed so that was helpful since we didn't have a lot of time. The shuffleboard wasn't being played, but I will check it out next time! Cute place and we will be back.

Heard mixed reviews about this place, but finally gave it a try. Did the drive thru. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Had my burger in a couple minutes. Smash burger. Really good for "fast food ". Kinda expensive for fast food, but really good. Had tasty crisp edges like a smash burger should.

I had a small black and white shake that was less than average tasting in my opinion, and at the same time pricey! Great customer service.

But awesome all the same! For how busy they were, the server was very attentive and very accommodating as we were yapping away and constantly not ready with our orders so kuddos for the team and putting up with us! I love the mystery beer concept, its not great beer, but being from DC at like $2 a can, I am not passing that up, ever. And a cheap beer with a burger is the perfect combo! On to the burger... I have heard that this is a great burger... and I have to conclude that I agree though it is reminiscent of a Big Mac - just way better ingredients - it has to be the sauce they put on it... Anyway, nice size patty, good amount of toppings and a quality bun (not too soft, not too thick, bread soaks up some of the juices but doesn't fall apart). The mussels were quite excellent as well. It was a Thai curry broth the night we were there and it was drinkable, like soup... we did ask for extra bread... enough said. I am going to take a minute too and praise their spirit free cocktails. THIS IS HOW THEY SHOULD BE MADE. They used bitters, tonics, etc to craft something that tasted like a cocktail but without alcohol which means they were not sickly sugary concoctions, but expertly crafted beverages. Just really great options. All that said though, their espresso martini was one of the worst I have had. Just skip that.

We showed up, got seated and then the problems started. The waiter showed up and was immediately annoyed at us. Not sure what happened prior to our arrival, or if we were the set off, but he immediately didn't want to deal with us. Some of our group was asking questions about drinks/food and every thing just seemed to annoy him. We ordered our food , drinks and then just sat and waited for our food. It was a decent sized party, 8 of us, and other than asking for a chicken sandwich to be cut in half (we ordered a giant salad and a sandwich to share), the orders were right off the menu, no subs, no crazy asks... just off the menu. The food began arriving and it was OK. The salad was really good. The sandwich was OK. Everyone's fries were either lukewarm or room temperature. The food was just very mid. Between that and the waiter who made us feel like anything happening was a supreme annoyance to him, it wasnt the best experience. I had to leave after dinner, but the rest of our group stayed and played the games and said it was an amazing time. If this place was just an arcade that had an order window for food, this would have been an awesome experience. The fact that they offer a full menu of cocktails and "foodie" items means that they also need to offer service to match. Overall a really nice place with an awesome arcade (most games are one token!), and the food looked like it could be good but they need to figure timing out and make sure service matches what they are offering. Fun night out with friends, but would recommend dining elsewhere.

I got the Burn Notice sandwich with a grilled vegan chicken patty and my partner got the Smoke Show, each with a side of fries. The fries were cooked perfectly and were great portion sizes. Our sandwiches were so tasty and the sauce added the perfect amount of flavor and heat. I also had the strawberry and dragon fruit Tractor juice and it was so refreshing! As others have stated, you do have to ask for water if you want it as it isn't included on the menu. We ordered our food on a tablet at the front counter and it was brought out to our table. The dining area is cozy, but not too small or cramped and the staff was very helpful and friendly! We can't wait to back to try more items!

This was my 2nd time coming to Mad Chef!…read more The first time I came here was about 2 years ago (before doing yelp reviews). I was not very impressed. This time around I cannot complain! Their specials are all revolving around the Masters which was unique! We tried the Pimento, Fried Green Tomato, Chicken Sandwich (The Pimento Birdie). This was a delicious sandwich that just screams Georgia! We also tried the Madfather Chicken Sandwich! Pesto, Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, this thing was outstanding! The fries are always a highlight here! We got the bucket (had a bigger group) and it came with 3 sauces. 1 tiny little knock on the fry bucket....the entire bucket was not filled with fries. The bottom of the fry bucket had about an inch or 2 of crinkled up paper..... All of the food was outstanding. The beer was good. Tons of space and seating. Very easy ordering process. Maybe what I smelled upon walking inside Mad Chef, were hops; I'm unsure. There was a lingering, unpleasant scent (hay/old peanut shells, an earthy staleness). When my food arrived, the scent dissipated. I purposely took a picture of the fish, on my fried fish sandwich, to illustrate what $17 and some change, looks like - very thin. The fish fry was tasty, slightly undercooked, soft crusted and soft bun, fresh condiments and those "pickles" were stellar. They were the best part of my meal. I would seriously purchase a jar of those pickles. Was wary of how hot honey would mesh with a pepperoni pizza, but surprisingly, the sweet heat and the savoriness of the pepperonis, worked well together. The only miss and it's a pretty big "miss," was the paper thin, tasteless crust, acting only as a vehicle to hold the toppings. Suggest you improve the crust and then, you'll have a stellar pie. Loved the peach bread pudding with brown sugar ice cream, but once again, for the price; the portion was skimpy. Liked the touch of homemade whipped cream, but it was overly whipped (stiff and tasteless), making it actually, impalatable.
