Great addition to the neighborhood. Checked out the much hyped Shack tonight, and the line was out the door. No problem, the line moved quickly and we were through in under 10 minutes. The space is amazing with tons of light, premium finishes and massively high ceilings. The vast menu is boldly presented as you near the counter. Only challenge will be deciding what to order! My wife and I both got the standard shack burger, fries and the shack ale. Ordering process was painless and the food came out quickly and spot on. The burger was very good, though not the best in town, which is a ok since it's fastish food. Burger had a nice crust on it, and the toppings were all plentiful and high quality. I didn't taste the shack sauce much, I think the American cheese might have overpowered it. The crinkle cut fries were amazing. Also have had the smokeshack (awesome) and green chili burger (just meh). Finally, the staff were top to bottom efficient and friendly. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu! read more

The shake shack in the airport is much better than the Denver outpost, yeah the airport. The green chili burger isn't that great. I've been to this one twice. This trip they left part of the order off and we got cold food. Sent back my burger and got another cold one. Better than about ten other people who had been waiting 45 mins I guess. read more

The restaurant's design is beautiful. But really, let's talk about the burgers! They are delicious with a lot of cool choices (there was one with green chile, and another with applewood smoked bacon). The fries are THE BEST, so perfectly crisp and salted. I had never had the chicken sandwich they offer before and it was big and meaty and very crispy. Get the Honey Flower Concrete dessert and die of happiness. Love that I can get Ratio on tap, too. What the real treat is, is how incredibly friendly and helpful all the people are who work there are. We were treated especially well by Megan and Krissi (or Chrissy?). It made an impression. Great costumer service and the employees are always friendly just wish I could love this place but the burger was to salty due to the fact my friend who works there has todo the seasoning slogan of "Shake shack shake shack" on top of the meat so if it's possible ask not to add that at the register and the bun was kinda to soft for my liking but the fries are good and the chocolate shake is too. read more

Had one of the worst delivery experiences. Ordered from the app around 7:20. Order didn't even get placed until 8:01. By the time it was "delivered" the delivery person didn't follow the instructions, didn't attempt to contact me if he even attempted to use the ButterFlyMX pass. The app didn't show me a picture of where the driver supposed to have dropped off my order. After searching the lobby considering it wasn't left by my apartment, I went outside and eventually found a sticker receipt of my order. So either the driver left my food to be stolen or messed with by any passer by outside of an apartment complex in LoDo with 1,000 residents in this building alone, or they just stole my food and left the sticker. The app had no reasonable way to deal with an issue. I called the store and selected to speak to a manager for which no one responded. Left a message and an email to the company which I've gotten no response yet. I ended up ordering UberEats from a competitor and had to pay for priority speed so I could at least get food 2 hours after I had originally ordered. read more

I was so looking forward to this place! Unfortunately it does not live up to the hype. If you have to test it out for yourself then take Uber to get here because there is no parking. Then be prepared to wait a long time even if they're not very busy. I will say the burger is delicious (over priced) and the strawberry shake (over priced) was decent. If you want an awesome milkshake, try Ice Cream Riot. Finally, the fries are just meh and mine did not come with any salt on them. Parking is always tough down there but found one not too far. Found a decent line on a Monday at noon but it moved fairly quick. i recently was an employee at Shake shack, and sad to say they found rat poop in the custard machine that had been there for years. customers and other employees like myself have been drinking shakes for a long time and some people only come for the shakes. I just wanted to give people the heads up before you come down to the Rhino location. and they found the poop very recently maybe 3-4 months ago. but they are still continuing to run custard in the machine, and have no courage to buy a new machine. read more

A delicious and juicy burger cooked perfectly! This was my first time at a shake shack establishment, and the hype is real. We happened to stop by on a Friday afternoon for lunch and luckily for us.. it was only a 10 minute wait. I had the shack burger with cheese fries. The burger was perfect, I couldn't really taste the shack sauce, but it really didn't affect the overall taste of the burger. Cheese fries are so addicting, I think this is something that should be eaten right away, as I'm sure once it gets soggy.. it's not as good. Service was fast and friendly. I really tried to like this place but honestly still like in n out better. Tried their original shack burger and rino special with green chiles as well as a side of cheese fries. Quality of food was pretty good but prices and portions.. eh. The hype you've heard is correct! Shake Shack is a welcome addition to Rino and the city as a whole! My friend and I went on a Thursday night and didn't have to wait to order as I feared we might. Sidle up to the counter and place your highly-anticipated order. I recommend that if you're especially hungry or have a larger appetite to order a double burger- their patties are delicious, but are on the thinner side, so plan accordingly! Their signature crinkle cut fries were the perfect complement to the delicious burgers, and they have a nice selection of drinks to pair with your meal. I was too full to try a shake this time around, but I have no doubt I'll be back soon to try some more things on their menu! read more

Shake Shack is not your average fast food burger joint! Everytime I have ever been to this spot I am never disappointed. The burgers are well made and the crinkle fries are always crispy and soft on the inside. The staff at Shake Shack can really accomodate a large number of people filtering through the restaurant. I've never waited in line for an excessive amount of time and there are usually one or two bussers cleaning tables as patrons leave. The restaurant is well organized and always clean. Of course, we cannot forget about the milkshakes! My favorite is the black and white, it's a mixture of chocolate and vanilla. I, admittingly, have stopped in to Shake Shack, not for a burger, but to indulge on one these delectable shakes. Pro tip: dip the crinkle fries in the milkshake for a sweet, salty treat =) read more

A very easy and honest guide to the main items at Shake Shack Burgers- Pretty good Chicken- Very good Fries- Mediocre at best Shakes- Slightly above average Concretes- Best thing they offer Steer clear of anything with cheese sauce. The most disappointing times I've experienced at Shake Shacks is when they douce things in it. The smokeshack is probably the best burger they have and they should bring back the Nashville hot chicken that they once had (which was probably the best thing here along with their concretes). Other than that, it's probably just a little better than In-N-Out, definitely a million times better than Freddy's, Culver's or Steak N Shake (Seriously, why did they bring that stuff to Denver? Wish I could give negative stars. I popped in to try the new Korean inspired menu. I have many food allergies that are not easy to explain nor have restaurants try and figure out what may harm me. They should not...it's my issue. So I ask for the ingredient list and I can then decide. First no allergens are listed on any guest facing materials. Second I had to flag down a person to even ask. Once I did they immediately had no idea then got an attitude when I asked for an ingredient list so I can decide. They could not provide it b/c "...it's too hard...". After a little more banter about them telling me what my allergies are and how unwilling they are to accommodate. I am a VP of major restaurant group and this was an epic failure in every aspect of hospitality. I rarely write reviews but being from St.Louis and having met Danny many times I know he would have not been proud of this location. Bad look. Just a mess. No system dealing with COVID. They seem set up for it. I ordered online ahead of time, went into the pick up order line, got a text (which on their site should mention they'll text you so you're not waiting on the sidewalk with 50 other people). I had never been to this place and wanted to check it out to see what all the hype was. Now I know. The food is absolutely delicious. While the prices are a bit higher than your traditional quick burger spot, the flavor definitely makes up for it. The fries are crispy and delicious and even better when you throw some cheese on them. I decided try their shackmeister ale as well. Spot on. They'll even add lemonade to it and make it a shandy for you. The patio here also has a dog friendly area. So you can bring your furry friends to lunch with you. I just dont get it... The staff was not customer oriented. Everything seemed to be a hassle to them. The food is ok but very expensive. A small drink fries and a cheese burger set me back $15. By comparison lark burger is around $12 for a much better product and in and out is under $7. Finally, my biggest rub is that the staff wont give you a drink until your whole order is up. I like to sip on my drink while my food gets ready like every other restaurant in America. And, in a world where a restaurant wont even give you a straw... if you want a refill on your drink they wont refill your cup they have to serve you a new one with a new cup and new lid. I've had Shake Shack in 6 states -- my obsession reached the point where I was planning trips to go to cities just to visit Shake Shack...and my husband and I would usually go twice per trip! I'm a total Shake Shack lover. It doesn't compare to In N Out because it's not fast food. It is a fast casual burger dining experience. You don't compare Chipotle to Taco Bell, do you?! The line wasn't bad even on a Saturday night at 6:30. We got through the line and had our food within about 30 minutes. I am a vegetarian so I only eat the shroom burger, this one wasn't quite as tasty as other ones I've had before, but it still was delicious! The fries were amazing, crispy and salty. We always order the cheese on the side for dipping so it doesn't get the fries soggy. The raspberry ginger lemonade was AMAZING! The friends we were with enjoyed the Green Chile CheddarShack and the concretes and shakes, too. It is pretty pricey - for 4 people (5 burgers, 3 cheese fries, 3 drinks, 3 concretes/shakes) it was $84. One thing of fries is enough to share between two people, and you can easily share a shake, too! I can't wait for the Highlands Ranch location later this year which will hopefully bring better parking options. Usually so great EXCEPT for lately., the last 3-4 weeks . What has happened to the good quality food, fresh & hot off the grill & superior service.?? I'm mourning the days when this was my favorite burger place complete with gluten-free buns. The best hamburger buns I'd ever had. The cheeseburger meat was cold & had. been sitting around and it was dried out. The fries were forgotten so I went back for those and waited forever for a simple order of fries. Then no shake shake sauce on my cheeseburger and I had to wait again. All further complicated by my 5 month old baby waking up during all the waiting and then leaving with my dinner in a sack for the 3 block walk home. This was the 3rd time I've had a similar bad experience at this location. This is the one on Larimer St which is in my neighborhood. Convenient but not going back. read more

Three and a half stars. Always interested in these hyped chains, and Shake Shack certainly has an online presence in the youtube food world. We went at 1:30pm on a Friday and there was still a line to the door, but that was only about a five minute wait. Cashier was polite and friendly. I had a Shackburger (single), fries, and a taste of my friend's chocolate chip shake. I am losing my sweet tooth but the shake was fine. If I go back I will probably just get a small custard (chocolate and vanilla mix) to really taste it. The fries were very basic but that's what I like - no weird spice mix or additional flavor oil adding off flavors. They are crispy on the outside and retain some potato-ness on the inside. The Shackburger was ok. They use american cheese which I prefer, but the meat is pretty fatty and with the cheese it was a little bit too much for me. The meat didn't seemed to be seasoned enough to cut through the fat. Next time I would add onion and probably hold the cheese or throw some mustard in there. The secret sauce was fine, they put on the right amount so you taste it but not so much that the burger is a slimy fall apart mess. The Martin's potato roll bun really brings the whole thing together for a good bite every time. All in all pretty good (probably really good if you're high, you mile-high stoners)! I'm excited to try the green chili burger (no cheese) as I bet the vinegar in the pepper mix will cut through some of the fattiness of the meat. read more

I'm impressed. Genuinely, impressed. I wasn't expecting much out of yet another burger joint. It took me 20 minutes to find a parking spot. It took me another 10 to actually walk there. But I really wanted a burger. I ordered the regular cheeseburger and fries. Now, I don't know if it was the exhaustion of the hot day or what, but that burger was top notch. WHOA MAMA! There's plenty of good burgers in this city and I love that there's another one added to the list. I bought lunch to-go for all my fellow foodie coworkers yesterday encouraging a good spread so we could try everything. Together we ordered the Smokeshack, Shackburger (Double), Chick'nShack, and a single stack Hamburger. Cheese fries, Bacon Cheese fries, and a regular fry. I LOVED the Smokeshack with its cherry bomb peppers, its a nice tangy kick that meshes with the cheese and burger. Shackburger, the potato bun held everything together so the dreaded burger slippage didn't occur. It fit perfectly in one of my large hands so fries could be picked up with the other. Oh oh oh, the Chick'nShack, the batter was nice and crunchy and didn't get soggy during transport, A good pickle can be quite the compliment to a chicken sandwich and their freshly made ones did the trick. Buttermilk herb mayo was a solid finish. Crinkle cut fries aren't my favorite BUT the plus side says they're great for dipping in ketchup and other condiments. In transit the cheese sauce for the Bacon Cheese Fries solidified a little bit so the fries helped . The sauce itself was bomb. Add in the bacon and were in business! I went to a Shake Shack in Boston about a year ago and while I loved the shakes, I was indifferent about the burgers. Well this time I decided it was time to get to basics. No fries, no shakes, no bun even for my burger. I wanted to taste my double Shack Burger in all of its glory. I loved it. I don't know if they cook their burgers in butter but it had this buttery, kind of crusted texture that I loved to the char of the burger. No going to lie, I could have had another but opted not to.
