I finally got around to framing it and went to the Michaels location off Coleman. I was thinking that I could get a frame off their shelves, but I quickly realized that the poster had uncommon dimensions. I had no choice but to get a custom frame for it. I was assisted by a young gentleman, who was very friendly and helpful. I'm the worst when it comes to making decisions. I have to analyze every little thing, and then I get stuck in analysis paralysis. The associate was so patient with me, and he didn't rush me through the process. I also feel like he didn't limit me on variations of frame colors and matboard. He brought out everything to ensure that I had considered all my options. I relied heavily on his guidance and settled on an elegant thin silver frame with a blue mat. I called Michael's a week after the expected due date and was informed that it would be ready the following day. I was glad to see that the gentleman who helped me with my custom frame was the same person checking out my product. He carefully laid the framed print out, and I was stunned by how amazingly cohesive the frame and matting looked with the overall print. It was honestly perfect. This was my first custom frame job EVER - not just from Michael's. I was so pleased with their customer care and execution that I would not hesitate to go to Michaels Coleman custom framers!

They had heart shaped silicon molds for making cupcakes, stickers, gift bags and decor. They also had valentine hair accessories. I found a cute hair clip that I wanted to purchase. All the valentines items were 40% off, which was a great deal. There was a small section of St. Patrick's Day items, as well. At the checkout you have the option for self checkout or checkout with an employee. There was a customer being helped at a register and two were checking out at the self checkout. An employee directed me to an available self checkout which worked out great. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes total. I really love that they offer self checkout. I remember in the past when you'd have to wait in a crazy long line with only two registers open. The self checkout eliminates this long wait. It makes the shopping experience so much better.

A good frame is everything, and your frame should reflect the art piece. In our case an original Corset Le Furet 1933 and Cendrillon 1899 posters found wonderful frames. It isn't cheap, and it takes several weeks, but the quality is amazing. If you have a masterpiece of art you prize, don't leave it to Michael's framing, go ahead and get the best. Young is the owner and his team at Artscapes are professionals. Most of the local museums use them. Got a sneak peek at a collection that was getting ready for display at the Triton. Amazing work!

After showing Randal my pieces, I quickly knew it was not worth the cost to have them custom framed. Knowing he was not going to make a dime from me, Randal still took the time to offer me multiple suggestions and even made notes for me knowing I had no clue. I ended up doing the job myself and have to admit, it came out better than I hoped. I'm sure those in the know would know right away it was done by an amateur (at best), but I'm quite happy with it. It's nice to find someone in business that truly cares about the people that come in their door and isn't just trying to make a buck off them. If I have another piece worthy, I will definitely be back to have it framed here.

A lot of what they had left was a steal at 60% off! If you shop for your kids classes, they have a lot of small goodies that are priced well for prizes or gift bags.
