Regular Chinese. Nothing special at all but the Taste is ok and I like it enough to buy a plate here and there. Probably won't be back though because the last 2-3 times I've tried to get food from the bar to go, food is either old and dried out or they're claiming they're gonna put more fresh food out and they don't. They leave the food on the bar as long as possible before they replace it and it's honestly super unappealing. It's not bad food, just please, keep it hot and fresh. Came here for the lunch buffet on a weekday for the first try and I was pleasantly surprised! The food is a 10/10. There wasn't a single thing I tried that wasn't well cooked and delicious! The service was good as well. Wait staff checked on us frequently even though it was self serve buffet style eating. The restaurant had a good feel and environment too. It was quiet (mainly adults during school hours) and a nice reprieve from the day. Already planning when to come back for a date night. Definitely going to be the new spot. read more

This might be the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I spent the first 25 yrs of my life just outside Seattle, the next in Albuquerque and just moved to the South. This was my first experience with Chinese food here. As someone who has made their own wantons in the past and found them to be quite simple, their inainability to form them into anything but flat triangles that were soggy and hard was reflective of the entire meal. I don't know why people like to eat this bad tasting food. The vegetables are crunchy and undercooked. The shrimp in lobster sauce was the worst I've ever eaten period. It was bland with gunky mushy chewy crap in it. I went in for a take out. I was standing there and the cashier did not even acknowledge me. The lady in line told her that I was first. The cashier disregarded what she said and started to check her out. The cashier then asked what I wanted and I told her a to go order. She pointed to the to go boxes and kept checking the customer up. The customers at the table were so quiet and just watched. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a African American woman or not. I was on the way to the eye doctor a few days ago and was looking for a place to grab lunch. I pulled into a strip mall near the doctors office and found a small Chinese restaurant that had "$6.95 Buffet" plastered on the window. So being hungry and looking for something tasty and quick I decided to try it out. As I walked in it was a small but clean restaurant the buffet was very limited but I saw that they had an a le carte menu but decided to stay the course. I was seated at a small table and the service was excellent. I went up to the buffet and tried the double pork (***1/2 stars) the fried rice (** stars) the sweet and sour chicken (*** stars) the chicken on a stick (* star) and egg roll (* star) The chicken on a stick was severely dry and over cooked where as the egg roll was limp and greasy. SS chicken was meh ok as was everything else on my plate. All in all the service was good but the food left much to be desired. read more

My husband and I decided to try China Wok on a Saturday night after getting their menu in the mail that day. We called and placed an order for takeout. Very polite on the phone and told us it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Once we arrived, I was told to hang on a minute so I waited. I waited almost 30 minutes for my food. When we got home and unpacked the bag I realized they'd made a mistake in our order. We had entree portions of the two meats but we'd ordered instead of combo platters that included fried rice and an egg roll. I called them back and said we'd gotten just meat entrees and none of these sides. They asked if I could come back and I said yes, assuming we'd get some fried rice and eggrolls and be on our way. Instead, the lady argued with us that we had ordered the entrees that came with white rice and not combos. We said that we did not and had ordered the combos and were told to come back for our fried rice and eggrolls. She kept insisting this was not what we ordered and even pointed to her slip of paper where she wrote down our order. I told her that she wrote the order down wrong and that they'd asked us to come back so we just wanted our fried rice and eggrolls. Then, she tried to bargain with us and said she'd give us the egg rolls and was practically yelling at us and everyone in the place was staring. But, they asked us to come back so I don't know why they were arguing. Finally, a younger waitresses stepped in and said she'd get us our eggolls and fried rice. I understand mistakes get made, especially with orders over the phone but when we called they were very quick to ask us to come back so I was expecting they wanted to correct the order NOT argue with us about the order. We got home and the food was ok. I thought the chicken in my cashew chicken was overcooked and had a slight burnt taste. Customer service was horrible, we won't be back again. We were treated like we were trying to get free food or rip them off. It was very bizarre. read more

Nothing special but fairly good food. My wife and I had the buffet around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, (not the best time for a buffet) and had a decent meal. Hot and sour soup was lukewarm but the egg drop soup was almost too hot to eat. Most of the items on the bar were picked over but you could still find enough to eat. Again, most items were lukewarm and nothing was very hot. I'm also not a fan of a preteen boy working bussing tables, acting as a server, and etc. while an adult sits in the back answering the phone and only coming up front to use the register. It is a small place so the buffet will be small. Not a problem. The two stars is because of the food. The sweet and sour was overcooked and rubbery, and cold. The general tso had an odd taste and was lukewarm. The mongolian beef was lukewarm as well and had no taste. It was like they smoked it and put it out. Other meat I tried was cold or lukewarm and/or had a funny taste. The only thing I really liked was the happy family. It had shrimp, corn, broccoli, and I believe it was squid. AVOID this place at all costs! Had I used the bathroom before eating here, I would have not eaten here at all. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, sticky floor, peeling tiles, random PVC pipes doing who knows what. The liquid handsoap was basically a solid in the dispenser, and there is no way the waitress, who left the bathroom before me, washed her hands, as the sink was dry before I used it. Anyway, on to the food and service. My husband ordered the Ma Po Tofu, a dish that was in the vegetarian section of the menu. When it came it was covered in a beef sauce. When questioned about it, the waitress very confused and we sent it back explaining that we don't eat beef. They made a new dish which came out and looked completely different; the tofu was completely under-cooked, very soft and disgusting. So, my husband sent it back and explained it was undercooked and was not appetizing at all. The waitress and the hostess were very confused and finally came back and offered him a free buffet for dinner. Which he was unsure about but took since my son and I had already been eating. (I should note the food my son and I were eating was mediocre at best. The food on the buffet seems to have a lot of cross-contamination and the people coming from the kitchen that are handling the food are not using safe or healthy food handling practices). Later, a man came in and was eating off the buffet and the waitress and the hostess begin talking to him and seemed to know him. The only phrase we could make out was Ma Po Tofu. They said something about it to him and he sat down and they brought out the original plate of Ma Po Tofu with the beef sauce that they had served my husband which he had a bite of before realizing that it had beef on it. So they were serving plates that have been sent back to the kitchen to their friends in the dining room! Gross! Also, while eating, kitchen workers, still in aprons, would come out and make plates of food from the buffet, one of these men was wearing a tank top, which I'm sure is against health regulations. When we went to pay, my husband was charged for his free buffet and the waitress--who had offered him the free meal, denied it! She had offered it to him free and that is the only reason that we even stayed since he was having no luck with getting a decent meal there. We finally just paid for it so we could get out of there and will never ever return. And I will tell everyone I know what it awful disgusting place it is! read more

I ask him why and he said that the box was slightly open so it was overflow. I told him the box was closed and only two noodle was out.
