I've been going here for years! I've been getting delivery for years. Everything's always hot. It's so good. There's a mixture of variety and the people are so nice! They're comfortable seats booths whatever you prefer. I cannot say enough good things about this place. There's many things I enjoy from there, especially their peanut butter chicken. They're spring rolls are wonderful now I think on the weekends they have fish so I don't really go then because I'm not really into fish, but they have sushi and desserts and ice cream and everything for your heart's desire! Very disappointed in my dinner. I ordered a cashew chicken with fried rice. There wasn't any cashews on my dinner . Also the fried rice taste like metal from the grill. That isn't real fried rice anyway. It's yellow rice. I've never been disappointed with my dinner from Dynasty before untill now. This used to be our go-to place for Chinese food. Always excellent take out. Last night we ordered our usual and we're shocked at how terrible everything was. Completely inedible gristly mushu pork. Unseasoned, undercooked fried rice. Hot and sour soup that was so hot my wife couldn't eat any of it. Tasteless and overcooked broccoli with garlic. So I call this morning to complain. Hi, I have always loved Chinese food, I mean, who doesn't? When I walked in this place I had a quiet and peaceful feeling. I liked the fact that I was served almost immediately when I walked in. Some of the seats could use replacing. A lot of cleaning and maintenance stuff was close to the area I was eating which bothered me. The buffet was not too bad nor was it great. It was a basic buffet experience for me. But I do have to say I haven't been pleased with this buffet in a long time and I have came here a lot. Half of the food is dry and not moist, and some of the food is overcooked. The shrimp is pretty good I have to admit. The cooked fish isn't appealing and too good if you ask me. The bathrooms could really use remodeling and fixation. I didn't have any problems with being served which is a star for me. So for me being a generous person I have to give this place 3 Stars. P.S. I recommend ordering from take out menu than the buffet. The take out menu items are way fresher and tasteful than half of the buffet items. read more

if I could give this no stars I would. This POS waitress was an a** the whole time and stared at us and was rude because we had our son with us. Then to proceed with our lunch the rude waitress did not come and check on us or refill our drinks. To put in to prospective, my 1 year old son is blind. He threw a things on the floor which typical babies do. We got most of the big stuff up but some rice was left on the floor. THIS LADY BROUGHT ME A BROOM AND DUST PAN!!!!!! I'm not going to say I KNEW what she was saying but by the way the other lady looked at me, you can tell that's exactly what she was telling her. Just got off the phone with lady at the reception desk. I called to kindly let her know we did not receive white rice with my Chow Mein, no condiments in the bag and we think we received Beef and Broccoli instead of Szechwan Beef. She insisted the rice and condiments were put in the delivery bag and the order was correct. I told her i was looking at the bag and no rice and no condiments and that we'd ordered Szechwan Beef before and this was not the same. We've been ordering there for years and just wanted to let them know. This is not the first time they've left something out but it's usually something small like the extra crunchy noodles She asked if we checked the bag before the driver left and I said yes, but he left for his car in a hurry and my husband caught him in the driveway and said we had no white rice. He insisted he packed the bag himself and we did. He drove away. The lady on the phone was raising her voice and told me I was wrong, she insisted we had everything. I finally ended the conversation with we'd been customers for years, she responded "yes, I see your address", and I said I don't think we'll continue. She said that was fine and hung up. We called in an order. I was asked to wait and they placed the phone down to talk about personal things. She repeated the order back correctly, and quoted 15 minutes. Came in to the restaurant and the order was incorrect. The man at the counter said no, it was our mistake, but he'd fix it. The total for the order was $18.35, but when he came back he said $20. He was short with us, and I couldn't believe he was just guesstimating the price. I asked for a new receipt showing the correct prices and he said they don't do that. Location is good. Parking is plenty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food on the buffet is hot and fresh. There is a good variety of different foods. I personally loved the clams and general tso chicken. The sushi is a good selection. I appreciate the ice cream being in individual containers. I do not like getting ice cream scoops out of dirty water. They have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry in individual containers. Also, i am taking won ton soup with me. ZERO STARS..... the waitress was very short, with no manners. They asked us what we would like to drink before we were even seated, that took 5 minutes itself, while doing so the waitress thought it was ok to tuck our silverware under her armpit to hold it while she wrote everything down. She was all over the place when trying to seat us. I asked for a booth and she told me that area of the restaurant was closed. After about five minutes of being there others were seated in the "closed" area. There was little to no food. We were constantly watched. Was searching for some decent WonTon soup for my partner who was feeling poorly and decided to hit up Dynasty for some to go. Was surprised at the ample portion and the taste of their to go soup and the price was dirt cheap. Decided to hit up the buffet for lunch a few days later and although I wasnt in the mood for chinese I found their lunch on par with the other buffets in the area with fair service but a little pricier. Showed up almost 2 hours before closing. All the sushi was gone, half the seafood dishes were gone. What was there wasn't even hot, most was just lukewarm. I asked the server if they were going to bring more HOT food out, he said yes, they didn't. They did bring out 4 bowls of different dishes to add to the trays, but still not hot. There was some baked salmon and catfish, but they were hard as a rock. This was hands down my worst buffet experience. I will not go back to China Wok down the street, but at least their food was HOT! Visiting the family down South I insisted we go to a non-chain restaurant to eat and Dynasty Buffet happened to be right there, so we stopped for what I expected to be the usual sub-par junk one gets at a Chinese Buffet. Turns out I was wrong. The selection of food was unusual and crossed over into decently done Japanese fair. Everything that I had off the buffet (and I rather gorged myself) was far better than what I expected, and I'm from San Francisco where we're spoiled when it comes to Asian food. This is without a doubt the best Chinese/Asian Buffet I've ever been to. Amazingly there was a hibachi grill where a chef would grill up whatever raw ingredients for you at no extra charge. Dynasty Buffet is a real pleasure to find at $7.29 for adult lunch buffet. We came at 1230 on a Tuesday. I think it is the best value and quality of any of the Asian buffets I have eaten yet on the coast. This old school American Chinese restaurant located in the same plaza as the ATT call center, Ace Hardware, and next to Dollar Tree in Ocean Springs. It is a real gem. The condiment sauces like duck, mustard, chili in oil, pot sticker, ect are original old school and not watered down or adulterated like you may find in other establishments. They are thick, have flavor, and are plentiful in self-serve containers not packets. The clean sushi bar is of good quality with cold, fresh, various selections, and self-service with no chef standing behind to make you feel like you must leave an additional tip. The dumplings are fantastic. The pork wontons for the soup are classic fermented pork. The pot stickers are tender and cooked just right with green onion and pork--excellent as well. The fried Crab Rangoon is filled wonton triangles with not too sweet cream cheese, onion, and surimi (crab stick). Fried egg rolls, spring rolls, and "Indian" rolls (perhaps a twist on Kati rolls) are on service. Peanut Chicken (breaded, fired, with satay), Mongolian Pork, General Tso, Spicy shrimp (fried with jalapeno), Honey Chicken, chicken on a stick (well marinated and juicy), Pepper Steak, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken, Baked Salmon, Lo Mien, Mei Fun, various veges and much more were all served hot. The soups were average. Fruits fresh and canned plus great vanilla tapioca served cold. Don't forget to have the sesame balls--they were as good as they get. The whole experience was fantastic with friendly service. The bathrooms were a bit tired, and they do have a military and ATT discount but you must pay cash to get it which I thought odd and a put off--the only reason I give a 4 out of 5. I ordered takeout combination LoMein and General Tso's chicken. The LoMein was barely edible with only a couple of shrimp and virtually no chicken or pork in a large order! The Generals chicken was absolutely horrible- Not fit to eat!!! I called the business to express my displeasure and find out what they would do to fix my problem. They offered a new order of Gen's Chicken-I said No Thanks Give me a refund please! I drove back to DyNASTY with the uneaten chicken. For the price, there is a decent selection. We went on a Saturday night, and they did a fair job of keeping fresh food on the buffet line. My main complaint is they do not have much of a desert selection. My kids were excited about the ice cream, but they only had 4 store bought containers (looks like they went to Wal-Mart and got the biggest and the cheapest) that were so frozen that my husband even had trouble getting enough for the kids to eat. As for service, the plates were cleared fairly quickly but I had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. But, all in all, for the price, I would recommend Dynasty Buffet. read more
