I am very particular about Chinese restaurants white chicken. The pork fried rice was delicious. They should sell hot mustard made by them. The hot and sour soup was very good. We recently moved to the Northfield/Macedonia area, and this was the first time ordering here. We recommend this restaurant whole heartedly. We ordered combo meals of chicken and brocolli and sweet and sour chicken, and an order of fried dumplings. The food was superb, everything was correct. OK. So we broke up with our last Chinese takeout because we began having trust issues. So my wife, the reason for my recent breakup, decided that it was time for us to try again. So we did. I was a bit surprised that every thing came out ok...General TSO, Shrimp fried rice, egg rolls, and the crab rangoon were pretty good. Wild swings in reviews here, but after ordering almost weekly for months I can say this: the delivery staff is delightful and food tastes great BUT if you go there to pick up, the kitchen looks very sketchy, the people who work there look like they're miserably unhappy and the owner treats you like the soup natzi. We'd like to feel good about supporting local restaurants this year and certainly tried, but hard to like this brand. On the other hand, we order when tired and looking for convenience. Ultimately when COVID is done, I hope to not give them another dollar until they can clean up and be friendly and actually express some level of appreciation for the business. read more

No subpar chicken pieces with fatty parts. The batter was evenly applied and fried, not overlooked or with air pockets. The fried rice was simple, but not greasy or loaded with salt. Order on Grubhub received the order before the time they suggested, hungry at the time until I bit down on barbeque rib hard as a brick with a tasty sauce, the egg foo young was burnt and the ham fried rice was cooked properly. Call Grubhub for the quality of their food and was willing to take it back but the restaurant refused to compromise at all. I have been in on a few occasions for carryout. Great lunch specials for only $5. I really love their Lomein & their General Tso's chicken. The chicken is crispy & hot. Sauce is delicious. They have been very friendly & they are willing to give me soup or soda instead of an egg roll. I also ask for lo mein instead of rice for a small upcharge.
