Unlike other places that offer lots of classes, The Center is set up to create an atmosphere that supports an environment that is conducive to consistent, focused practice. No treadmills, loud music, etc. There is one group room so only one class can be conducted at a time. It's very quiet and feels like sacred space. Of course, while people are in the waiting area there's a lot of positive interaction. On a Covid-19 specific note, because I have an autoimmune disease, I have to be extra careful. Since March, my other public outings have been limited to doctors' offices. I tried to got to a store to buy flowers but had to leave because the chaotic energy scared me. But when I come to class at The Center, it is so clean, well prepared for social distancing and peaceful that I immediately feel comfortable and safe. Namaste.

I won't be returning. I had been attending classes for 2 months. Just after purchasing a new month…read moreto month unlimited membership, and their holiday special punch card I was scheduled for surgery. I informed them of this and asked what would happen regarding my membership. It was told to me this wasn't uncommon, it would be ok to pause the membership and to speak with the owner. My last class was the week of Christmas and the owner wasn't there. When I returned to class and spoke with the owner she said she couldn't allow people to stop coming to class, start back up when they felt like it, and expecting to still have their membership. Throughout the conversation I explained to her several times that I didn't just stop coming, I had surgery and couldn't attend. By this time other people were there and able to hear the conversation. Because of this, I suggested we discuss it further after class. She then said I should have informed them that I would be having surgery and the best she could do was to give me 7 days. I explained to her that I had informed them ahead of time and was told it wouldn't be an issue pausing membership until I was able return. It was at that time that she said she needed to start class. It was an embarrassing experience and very unprofessional. I found a place closer to home less expensive for the amount of classes, and more welcoming.

The atmosphere here is so welcoming, and all the instructors are extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions I have regarding the exercises we are doing. It's great to be able to take a large variety of "specialized" fitness classes like pilates, barre, and HIIT and circuit training at a location that doesn't lock you into a pricey membership and lets you pay per class or via packages as you go! I've been so much more motivated to work out since I've started attending class here, and the special fitness challenge events, workshop classes, and meal prep events have helped me a lot outside the gym too.

Or lifting weights to train your triceps like starting the engine of a lawn mower? I have never thought I would ever, EVER, want to do any of these, or weight lifting, or even workout in a gym before coming to train with Dominik.( Not gonna lie, I am still not a big fan of it, BUT) I love how effective the workout was designed and the result I got just by training for few months. And most of all, it's not boring, with good challenges and variations everytime I trained. It motivates me, someone who lack of self discipline. I am the type of girl that love exercises for purposes, like sports for enjoyment and fun, dance and yoga for body forms and shape. So going to a gym seems dull and boring to me. I even tried crossfit before and absolutely hated it. Until a friend of mine introduce Dominik for personal training. Like most people( that I know of), whose metabolic rate just get slower after late 20s, it just seems harder and harder to maintain body weight and shapes. So I decided to give personal training a try, since it seems like regular exercise doesn't work for me anymore. And it was a game changer. Dominik not only creates personalized sets of workout for the body frame that I want, (since I wanted to keep a feminine look not muscle builder) but also advising on the diet that I should have. It's all about a healthy eating habits, and balancing with effective workout, like HIIT. It is a new thing to me and I am amazed by the result it yields. He is also very knowledgeable about body muscle structure that I have never gotten injured.
