I visited Shanti healing a few weeks ago and it was everything she said it would be except she said it would not be the relaxing type of massage to me it felt really good. I came in and my body was beat up, I mean beat up from the stressors from work, day to day stressors and past trauma. I was told I would need multiple sessions because it was a lot of tension in my body. My back and hips were worked, I was definitely sore the next few days but it was a good sore. After a quick checkin on focus areas due to injury/trauma/overuse/bad ergo, she'll get started and ask questions along the way to ensure that the right pressure is being applied, or to remind you to relax or breathe. I loved going to this place. I've been loyal even when it moved to Hayward. I tried to make it work with the commute as we know sometimes it's horrible traffic on Mission Blvd. as I was understanding with her circumstance of broken ankle that she cancelled my appointment. Then next month, my sympathy that she lost her grandmother that she cancelled my appointment. Twice in 2 months. I asked her about my 2 months membership. She didn't respond so she chose to keep it quiet so I missed the 'rollover' credits in which they expired. She profited $120 from me for free. Is that how loyalty member is being treated? During both months, her availability slots were limited. I'm sad that I was treated this way when I had empathy but no empathy returned. Not a great place to be. To respond to her comment: there weren't plenty slots available, she's not being honest. She would grab the opportunity if we overlooked the policy to profit. read more

I've been booking appointments with Shanti Healing for roughly 2 years now and I love it. I'm an active person, with backpacking and boxing as my main hobbies and having my appointments here have definitely saved me from injuries and helped me in recoveries. I went to this center for my shoulder pain. My masseuse was Sneha. Sneha took the time to first learn about my pain/ history, etc. and then focused on the pain areas during the massage. Woohoo! I'm The 40th reviewer. I came in to see Sneha today after two friends highly recommended her. I must say, it was all that I was expecting and more, should have seen her ages ago. She immediately knew the areas I needed work on but first, we did the feet detox. Wow, that's is the most oddest process I've seen. My water turned brown, this is all done with a pump that is pulling the toxins from your body in the water. It is the freakiest thing I've seen in a very long time. But I felt amazing afterwards. She didn't express anything concerns from the color of the water. After I cleaned myself, it was on to the massage. She is absolutely amazing.
