First time here on a Sunday. My mom comes here for her massages with therapist, Ada. I recently pulled a muscle so I thought I would give this place a try. I called on a Saturday afternoon to book for a Sunday appt for 2 people. We showed up on Sunday & there was a miscommunication so our appts were not in their books. Bummer. They thought we were coming the day that I called. Uh, wrong day. The person over the phone sounded really unmotivated. It was hard to understand him also. My spouse spoke mandarin to him to do the booking. So if u call to book, PLEASE MAKE SURE you are clear over the phone WHICH DAY you are booking for. They eventually found an available female therapist and I went in a room to get started. After 20 mins, they were able to accommodate my spouse for his massage. They made it happen and I appreciate them being flexible. Here goes my detailed review: AMBIENCE: First impression - BASIC. Nothing fancy here. The rooms have walls that DO NOT connect all the way to the ceiling, so what that means is that you might get to hear ur neighbors talking during your session. The room is nothing but basic, no bells or whistle, no fancy candles or aroma smell, no dimmed lights either. Bed and a chair inside with some hooks on wall. It's not a zen place here. It's a place to get ur kinks and knots out on ur body. There was spa music that plays in there tho. Let's be real, it's no Napa Valley spa here. You get what u pay for. CLEANLINESS: It felt clean overall. Head rest on bed had a disposable sheet for you to lay ur face in. I can't guarantee they change their bed sheets after each guest but I hope they change the flat sheet that is under the blanket tho. I also assume everyone keeps their underwear on under the sheets. PRICE + MENU: Affordable. That's why I decided to come here and try it out. I did the $65 an hour full body massage. See my price list photo for more pricing info. They also offer foot massages too or combo. Pay cash is best here. They charge extra $2 for each credit card transaction so keep that in mind. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Good. I will come back and try again. My therapist, Amy, seems polite. No one rude or anything there like other Yelpers mentioned. At least I didn't encounter anything too unpleasant while I was there. My therapist spoke cantonese so it was nice to communicate and feel she understood my needs. She got all the knots I needed to get out from my shoulder. Just know that at the end of ur sessions, most asian massage places will use HOT towel to wipe u down completely after they lotion you up during ur session. Some might think it's a weird process if they are not used to asian massage places. So just keep that in mind. It's like they just gave u a towel sponge bath lol. Me and my spouse both got the full body massage, total cost was $130 ($65 each). We paid about 25% tip. In total we paid $160 cash. That total price is pretty much what I usually pay at the Equinox Spa for a 50 mins massage for one. Of course, there is absolutely no comparison. It's like comparing a Bentley with a Honda Civic. Not fairly comparable. But like I mentioned - "what u pay is what u get". I think my $65 was VERY WELL spent. My therapist took off the pain I had so it got the job done. I do recommend trying it out here if you are just looking for muscle relieve in an affordable way. Not a place I would send someone a gift card or anything. But I'll be back again when if I run into any pain issues again. I took off one star for the shady ambience and also the questionable bed sheets on whether they changed it out (or not) after each client. But as for the interior decor, they could definitely use some help. A remodel would make it feel more welcoming. It's just really dark inside, nothing fancy at all. It gets the job done. I've been coming here for years and finally decided to bring a friend for her first visit TODAY. Unfortunately, this experience was incredibly disappointing and uncomfortable. I paid upfront for my service and included a tip. After the massage, the guy staff member handed my tip back to me and told me they "usually expect" a higher amount. That interaction was embarrassing, disrespectful, and unprofessional-- especially as a returning customer and especially in front of a friend. Tips are not mandatory, and pressuring clients after a service is completed comes across as entitled and inappropriate. Especially when I paid before the service This behavior has happened more than once, which shows a lack of respect for loyal customers. I liked this place because the hours are late and works for me as a single working mom. I always tip as well. However today Instead of feeling appreciated, I felt pressured and devalued. I won't be returning, and I would caution others that tipping expectations are enforced in an uncomfortable way rather than communicated transparently. read more

I went there for the first time and they were very friendly my massage person name I believe was Annie. She was really good . She was prefer. She was doing deep tissue massage on my lower back in arms. I told her that I was having neck problems issue put extra time on my neck and my legs because I have circulation problems ever since then I've been going back again and again and again these guys are professionals and I recommend this to anybody that has a hard construction job athletic fitness are just passing by. I originally setup a one hour massage but then decided to get the 90 minute massage. I have a very physical job and I'm older in age. I went there and gave a 15.00 tip prior to the service. The woman forgot to massage my right side of arm, forearm, wrist and hand. She had me flip over and I mentioned that she forgot the right side. There was a language barrier here. I had trouble breathing because the face disposable barrier wasn't adequately opened for me to breathe. I kept trying to bite through the barrier so that I could breathe through the elbow going down my back. She kept digging in with her elbows and in the past I've breathed through the process but I could not breathe. It was torture. I went there to free up my tensions and muscle tensions so I could feel better at work. She ended up doing the opposite to me. I had an old lower back injury and now in between my shoulder blades and lower back I'm in constant pain. When we were done I was out of it. The guy at the desk asked me if I could give her more of a tip. I agreed and gave her 20.00 total in tip but again, I was out of it. Two weeks later I'm icing my back, using electrodes and I've gone to two different acupuncturists and I'm still in pain. I went there a month ago for a one hour massage and that was good. But now. The ladies were very nice however the was a very rude male employee. He argued loudly with the other staff and had an unpleasant attitude. I went with a group and unfortunately I was paired off with him. He barely spoke two words to me and would randomly leave the room. My friends masseuse had to stop her service just to help me with the blanket when it was time to flip on the table. The massage itself was alright. Definitely not good. Despite the bad service, I still wanted to tip (10%) but on the way out they stopped to ask me for more. The rude man scoffed at me when I said that's all I was willing to give. I really like this place. I called ahead of time for a same day appointment and they made me one for an hour later. It was quiet and relaxing when I stepped inside, with soothing music. The front desk lady was sweet and welcoming and took me to my room Immediately. I chose the 75 minute combo massage/foot massage for only $45 what a steal! My masseuse ( Lisa ) soaked my feet for about 5 minutes then had me lay on my back to do the foot massage, I'm obsessed with having my feet massaged, I get so many pedicures a month just because of the massage part, and this woman did wonders on my feet it felt soooo good. The massage was incredible, she cracked my back and was the perfect amount of tough and gentle. It was an amazing massage, I felt so soft and tension free afterwards. The walls though, are like made out of paper or something, it's so easy to hear the person next to me, with my eyes closed I felt like they were in the same room with me. That's the only thing I would suggest they change. Took a referral from a person leaving another message location in Casteo Valley that was mediocre that Venus was the bomb. Took my friend there and we both had a horrible experience. It was an irritating foot message where both therapists hardly used pressure or moved from our toes. I keep telling my guy but he did not adjust, nor did my friends gal. It was late on a Friday so probably they were done. I get being exhausted at work, that's why we were there, but then don't schedule anymore clients. This place I went to a few years ago and it was really good so I decided to give it another try, I was able to call Friday and make an appointment for Saturday which was really convenient. The lady was nice quick efficient was scheduled in less than five minutes. I booked a 75 minute foot and body massage. When I arrived I was able to get in and get started right away, however things have definitely changed and I am sure it's because of Covid but the foot massage started off with a soak of your feet in plain lukewarm water in a bucket with a plastic bag. I wasn't really sure The meaning of that but just to soak your feet. The massage therapist soon came in and started the massage. I had a male he was pretty good but I felt like half of my massage was under a cover and half was uncovered. I'm not really sure why they massage you with the blanket on now but I felt like I kind of didn't get my moneys worth. He was also a little careless when it came to ripping off the cover when he was massaging my back were ripping the towel off my eyes which I thought was a little much. I feel like I didn't get my thighs or legs really massaged that much. I definitely wasn't sore after it very moisturized because of whatever they used to massage you with.But overall please see my ratings below would I visit again possibly maybe just a shorter massage since I know the quality of their work. Definitely leave early the parking is pretty congested there. The ambience of the place was nice however they do keep the door open so the entire time through my massage I wasn't able to fully relax due to people's loud cars ,laughing ,talking , front desk staff answering the phones and so forth. This place recently sold to new owners and has gone way downhill. What used to be a reasonable place now is run by loud, unprofessional and definitely not knowledgeable staff,owners. Prices have also gone up. The place is pretty run down too if you really look around, dirty, smelly bathroom with cracking walls and ants coming out of the walls. Ikea curtains. Ultra small rooms with uncomfortable beds. Worse parts are how loud everyone there is and they allow their customers to be loud too, interrupting the services of other paying clients. read more

My wife and I have been going here for 5+ years and we have yet to find a place with such great massage techniques. The environment is very soothing for we get the couples massage in which you are placed in your own room. We suggest the 75min-90min combo which is back and feet. They truly take you away into a place of healing and we love how friendly everyone has been over the years. They have a stamp card which means every tenth massage is free. Been here for about 5-6 times within 4 years already. We only come here when the other spa that we go to cant take the schedule or day that we really wanted to have a massage. Cause we always go in twos or threes with my daughter and husband. Sometimes four including my son. It is hard to make an appointment when 3-4 people are doing it at the same time. It is a pretty small place. I am only giving 3 due to it's floor plan. When you are having your own foot massage, it is only a few steps and a curtain away from the entrance. So everytime people are entering and exiting then checking in as well, you can hear people talk and all the noises which is annoying. Booked a 90 min full body massage appointment at 7pm. I had Jenny and you would think that after a long shift the pressure would be light but not her. The pressure and the massage was fantastic. She ensure that the pressure was to my liking. She was amazing. The massage table was at a perfect temperature for me, not too hot and not too cold. 90 mins was $90. Been going here for years, so I do enjoy majority of my experiences. But it does depend on who you get. This is just based off my most recent experience today. I usually give 4 or more stars. I tried an hour upper body massage for the first time, asking the receptionist if they could focus on my back, neck, and mainly shoulders. Also the first time I got a male. I was told to remind him, although I heard her tell him. He was a bit rude and made me feel uncomfortable. He didn't say hi or ask about what to focus on or anything when he came in. He also aggressively grabbed my arms to reposition them. I just felt uncomfortable and vulnerable throughout. He kept me face down the whole time and mainly focused on my back. He almost seemed irritated that I had requested only upper body. I was waiting to be asked to turn on my back as most 60 minutes include. To manage my neck and shoulder deeper or my arms or face at least. All which I've had in other massages. But nothing. And because of how he had handled my arms at the start, I didn't feel comfortable saying anything. Just wanted it to end. Then when done, he just said finished like some chore and left. So hit or miss for the price. If I return, I'll never try a male again and may have better luck with a 30 minute neck and shoulder only request. read more

I like how this place is professional and courteous. I called in to book same day appointment and was able to come in within an hour. Reason for the 4 stars is because I specifically asked if they offered Swedish massage... (expectation: relaxing and nearly falling asleep type of massage as so I've experienced). However, the massage was more like an Asian technique.. pretty hard pressure.. deep tissue type of massage and I was a bit disappointed. I would go for it if I was super sore and in need of it. I guess my only suggestion is, do not expect to fall asleep in this massage session. It will be great if you really need them to get in there and loosen up some knots or whatnot. WE HAD A GREAT TIME RELAXING and thanks to our 2 female masseuse, Aimee and Bonnie for making it all worth it! So why 4 stars? Rooms are quiet (we're on a Couple Room behind the front desk) the noise is apprehensible since the walls in between rooms are not through the ceiling. You'll hear other customers talking, phone ringing and footsteps. But hey! These are just minor concerns that can be forgotten (but funny i mentioned it here huh?) Anyway, so we were able to address the tipping concern when we had our call for appointment. Since it's a body massage (60 min.) minimum is $10 then it's up to you if you want to give more (don't be so cheap people! Specially if you really had a great massage!) My husband had a 60 minute body massage and I had a combination, (prices in pictures are updated, so don't worry if it was taken years ago) I had a 60 min massage and 30 min foot massage (imagine how stress my feet are! ) So yep!! We received very haphazard and inconsistent massages from "massage therapists" - seems like an overstatement of their qualifications - who coughed and sputtered and were obviously sick. Mine twice coughed so hard that she had to step to the other side of the curtain - then returned WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS- eeeewwww! It's really a hit or miss out here. I used to be a biweekly customer when they originally had their foot massages for $25/hr withhhhh paraffin wax they used to soak and put all over your foot. They were consistent in the beginning. That was like 2-3 years ago? Then they ended up taking out the wax stuff for the foot massage AND still charged $25/hr the same price they had when they used to include it. All these times I've only had women therapists who worked on me, and they were mostly consistent but they all have different "techniques" which makes me assume that they aren't really professionally trained. So yesterday's visit (Sunday afternoon 1/27) had lead me to the point of NOT EVER returning back. I had a male therapists, which wasn't an issue, it was just odd considering I've never seen him around before. Also, he had totally different "massage techniques". It was LACKING, he wasn't into it and it shows. He didn't massage my face or temples in the beginning. He basically just used his whole arm to put random pressures on my upper back. Which made my body even more sore. There's also a language barrier so you just can't help but be frustrated when you try to explain to the front desk what and why I wasn't satisfied with my service. She insisted I pay more and do a combo massage to add onto the shitty service I just received. Umm noo thank you. I'll just add this onto your yelp page as noted.
