I noticed one of my friends in San Antonio going to f45 through his posts on social media for the past two years and became intrigued, so I was happy when one of my best friends told me this past summer that f45 is opening in NW OKC!! My friend and I attended a couple of outdoor events in August and September promoting the new gym, and I was HOOKED!! I like that this team training gym already does the workout planning ahead for you with experienced trainers, and only 45 minutes long. Being a busy mom in grad school, this is probably all the time I can dedicate each day, but I still feel an amazing burn! Location: There is plenty of parking spaces, but when pulling out of your parking spot be careful, because it is a very busy area. Definitely pay attention to your surroundings! Trainers: I cannot say enough about how amazing the trainers are! Every one of them are extremely friendly.The owner, Charlie is from Dallas and was at the gym for the first week or so to welcome new members/people trying out the gym. Daniel, Brooke, Hayley, Ashley B., Ashley E. and Kara are so super friendly, welcoming, and motivating. I believe another trainer will be joining soon, Gerard. The workouts can get tough, but the trainer leading each session will help you if you find trouble with a workout or need an extra boost of encouragement. Workouts: This is team-based, circuit training style workout. Each workout is 45 minutes long, and you will leave the gym sweating and wake up the next morning a good sore! The gym is separated into different "Pods" and you will for example do 45 seconds of an exercise (e.g. barbell deadlifts), 20 seconds of rest, and then either move to the next exercise or repeat the same exercise. Every day varies on how the circuits are arranged and there are so many new and different types of workouts so your body gets a good range and variety or movements. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are cardio days, while Tuesdays and Thursdays are resistance/strength training days. Saturdays are 1 hour long and a combination of strength and cardio, while Sundays are resistance and I would say the "easiest" days..but you will nevertheless still get an amazing workout! I signed up for the membership early on so I got a little bit of a discount. Download the MINDBODY or f45 app to sign up for a membership and schedule your classes. You can try the gym for 7 days for free, and then do a $19 two week membership. If you decide to join, I believe the price is only $149 a month. It actually differs depending on which location you choose, but since I joined early...my total cost after taxes is $151 a month! Progress: I have seen SUCH a huge difference since joining only 2 months ago. I was tired of trying out different estheticians who kept butchering my brows. It took me a year to get them to a fuller look and I was a little nervous to get some clean up done. Kelsey is pretty young, but she went to Paul Mitchell which is a good school and she asked me a lot of questions prior to starting in with the wax which is so refreshing. My brows turned out perfect and her prices were reasonable. I can't comment on her other services such as facials but I believe she can customize based on your needs and she uses a lot of small brands that are organic and food based.

Hello: My fiancé and I joined Key Fit Club a few months ago and were aware that the gym was beginning to transition to a new building. After a few particularly negative experiences I wanted to bring a few concerns to your attention. I am regularly observing members misusing equipment and not following a dress code. This is concerning from a health and safety standpoint. Although this is not an uncommon issue and happens at most gyms it is happening consistently enough it should be addressed with specific members to ensure the safety of all members. Members are not adhering to a basic dress code by not wearing shoes and socks and even taking off their shirt while working out. Specifically, members are walking to and from the bathroom and throughout the training area as well as training without socks or shoes. Unfortunately, I have witnessed gym employees misusing equipment and removing their shoes and socks to exercise as well. This is particularly concerning because of the standard that these behaviors set for other gym members to not use the facility in a safe and appropriate manner. There are regularly members of the gym using the facility while they are noticeably high. This is prevalent on weekdays between 5:00pm and 7:00pm and obvious due to the potent smell. I do not feel it is appropriate for this to be tolerated because of the overwhelming smell it causes in the gym. I am also concerned that this is happening while there are children's classes happening in the gymnastics gym next door. Due to the above concerns: improper use of equipment, lack of dress code, and marijuana use I do not feel like Key Fit Club is promoting a safe and healthy gym environment particularly for females. The gym should be a safe place for individuals to work towards their goals. My personal training has been disrupted and I have been distracted from my goals due to the above referenced issues I have experienced. I have become uncomfortable being at the gym without my fiancé or a friend there with me because of the actions of other members. I have experienced harassment in a gym setting before and believe the environment that is being cultivated at Key Fit Club is promoting gym harassment and gym intimidation. I understand the gym is in the process of transitioning and moving locations. When we joined, we knew we would need to exercise some grace for the transition process.
