I hate going to the dentist as much as the next guy. A visit to the dentist is much like a tax appointment: you cringe and try to barter and reschedule, but in the end, it must be done every year. I had a nightmare experience at a dentist located down the street so I was particularly choosy. At the time we lived in Kendall and tried to find a dentist that was reputable and established. I found a winner at this office.
Dr. Shapiro's dentist office is located in the older office buildings next to the Panera & Starbucks mall off Kendall & 137th ave. He provides free valet parking and his office is clean and quiet, and full of interestingly quirky art that Dr. Shapiro has done himself! His staff is wonderful, so nice and welcoming. He tries to make the visit as stress and pain free as possible, there's classical music playing, every room has a bright open window, and the hygenist does speak Spanish if you prefer. read more
