There were three people ahead of me and the two ladies processed them quickly and efficiently. The tea shop is like I remember it. The new menu boards are a step up. I'm back at MiGuo, and you know when you frequent a place so much you feel like you have to tell people "they got something good over here"? That's exactly how I feel about this spot. I've never had a bad tiger tea from here, and today was no exception. The flavor is always on point, consistent, and just really good every time. My only note--please bring back the original boba pearl size! The ones I had today were noticeably smaller than usual. Still good, but I definitely noticed the difference. I found this spot after lunch with a friend. It's actually connected to a Korean bbq spot which is cool. It's tons of parking in this area. Staff was nice. This is a grab and go or maybe sit on the restaurant side. Not sure about what it's like when it warms up. I got a frozen Thai tea and jasmine tea with strawberry pearls. Both were really good. I would definitely return when on that side of town. Tons of restaurants and stores in that area. Menu selection was good. Staff was very nice and helpful. read more

In other news of being greedy, I usually stop here after going to Rice and Spice (they're in the same plaza). It's a small restaurant attached to the back on Bonchon. The restaurant is super cute and quaint. Normally there are between 1-2 workers, today there was only one who was helpful, but not that friendly. I usually get the brown sugar boba milks tea with whole milk, but I ended up going with the coconut milk instead. I really enjoyed the coconut milk and this may be my new go to. I am not sure if there is an up charge (I didn't ask and wasn't told) but I paid $7.04 for my drink. read more

This establishment is connected to Bonchon. After placing my order at Bonchon, I walked all the way to the back and was able to place my milk tea order. Ordered the thai milk tea. Employee making my drink asked if I wanted regular sweetness. Not use to that question with ordering milk teas. It wasn't the best I've had. So I revisited this tea bar after dining in the same strip. This time, I decided to try their Rose Milk Tea w/ Boba, and here's the deal. Though I like the floral Rose flavor, it's very subtle...and even at 100% sweet, it's barely sweet. Although their milk tea containers are large (just one size), they are too frugal with the Boba. They now also have this generic, unbranded cup/container as well. Still, the drink was refreshing and cheap, so no big deal. I just remember being much more impressed with their drink the last time I was here. The service isn't too friendly...but pretty quick. Lastly, this place is WAY too small and cramped...definitely not a plus during the pandemic. Though I'm glad that this tea joint exists, so close to many places I often visit in this area, I can't say this is one of my favorite tea bars. read more

I've been to this establishment less than a handful of times. This time, I found out the milk is nondairy, so I was thrilled to try a milk tea. I ordered per the referral of the young lady taking my order. I did opt for less sugar this time because o found the sweetness levels to be too sweet previously. I enjoyed my milk tea. My husband enjoyed his mango fruit tea. The sugar levels were just right. The order was processed and ready within five minutes. The consistency in the milk tea boba was great. It wasn't chewy or hard (the right consistency). Both orders came to about $11. There's a mobile device to order from, but you can't make any changes such as reducing sweetness and such. I got boba tea from here after eating Thai food across the street the other day. I got my usual Thai tea with tapioca. I asked for 75% sweetness, however, the drink was very sweet. My folks sent pictures of the signs when it was coming soon as an add-on to Bonchon that you could order from separately or walk into the space and order while in Bonchon. I finally got a chance to visit and take a look. Due to COVID-19, they take to-go orders only. They had menus outside the restaurant that are laminated and ask you to circle your tea drink, sweetness level, ice level, and any add-ons you may want. Once you're done, someone came out and read off your total. You pass over your payment and they'll run it, then bring it back with your receipt. Drinks were coming out pretty quickly - I would say it took about 1-2 minutes at most for mine to come out. I ordered their milk tea with 50% sweetness and less ice, plus boba. The drink was a bit warm - this tells me the tea was freshly brewed and it tastes more like tea than sugar and milk. (I've been to places where it tastes too much like sugar and milk.) Boba consistency was a bit chewier than I'm used to. I may order again if I'm in the area. read more

We wanted boba after dinner and thought we should try a new place, so we came here. This boba shop is connected to the Korean fried chicken place, Bonchon. We were greeted nicely enough by the guy working that evening. After we finally decided which drinks we wanted, we started to order. I was a little disappointed when they were out of some of the jellies I was looking forward to trying. I understand there's a lot of supply chain issues, so I got over it quickly. They had boba, so I was happy with that. When it was my husband's turn to order, he wanted one of the coffee drinks. The guy first said that wasn't available, so we assumed supplies issue again. After asking a couple more questions, he admitted he just didn't know how to make it, so he wasn't going to. My husband was rightfully irritated and decided not to order anything. While we can understand not having certain supplies or running out because it's in the evening, but for an employee to not want to do something just because he didn't know how is unacceptable. I would highly recommend to the manager to properly train your employees. If it's something you're unable to train on, then temporarily take it off the menu. read more

The traditional boba is so FRESH. I've ordered Jasmine Milk tea with 30% sweetener & it's perfect. I've also tried Oreo Smoothie & it's to die for! I got it 50% sweetened and it was definitely ideal. First time here, omg such an amazing place for bubble tea. The people there are so nice, the lady at Register was very helpful and very nice. We had a lot of questions and she was so patient and very helpful! Everything was so delicious, I don't know much about bubble tea. But I was very impressed, with everything they had . They have Bubble tea for sure, they also have coffee, ice cream and cakes. This place is small, but it's clean and has a good atmosphere. I'm from LA, so I can be a boba snob and this competes with the best of LA boba shops. The pearls are soft and chewy. The tea is fragrant and delicious. The staff was very friendly as well. What's a lazy group. I walked in at 10:02pm, Yelp says they close at 10:30pm, the "Open" sign is clearly still on, and the floors are wet. The guy from behind the counter asks if I want to order a drink, I say yes and he says, we're closed. The owner should make a better selection of employees. As someone who is in the small business industry, you would think that every customer mattered. We decided to give it a try after dinner at Bonchon...buy 1 get 1 free offer. I had the Rose milk tea and the flavor is outstanding, you can really taste the rose fLavor. Their teas are made from scratch which I really like instead of pre made like some other bubble tea places. We will definitely visit again to try more flavors. read more

The drinks here are good. The wait is a bit long the times that we have came to order. We really wanted to try the matcha cheese cake. As advertised on the picture - it looked delicious. I've really enjoyed going around Charlotte and trying out local boba tea joints. A friend of mine heard good things about this place and we decided to give it a shot. The store is a attached to a restaurant so do not be confused when looking for it. I decided to go with a honeydew milk tea and it was quite delicious. mg this is by far the best bubble tea you can get in Charlotte nc. the man at the register was so nice he told me all about how they make the tea fresh from scratch using a expensive machine from Taiwan which can make tea, milk cup , shakes, smoothies. he also said they get the tea from Taiwan as well. i ordered a pineapple green tea with strawberry popping boba. to top it off he showed me how my to go bag transforms. overall 10/10 and 5/5 i definitely recommend miguo for bubble tea. read more

I drove 30 minutes to get a Taro smoothie with Boba! That is how good their drinks are. Well, that and they were the only Boba tea place open during Covid. Still, it was an excellent Taro smoothie and I definitely will be returning the next time I am in the area. read more
