Located next to macys on the second floor, they were busy both times we walked by so we decided to give it a try. Ordered the mango tea and the black tea creama. The mango tea I had asked without sweetness and with jelly it was pretty sweet. My husband got the black tea creama and I was pleasantly surprised. I wish they didn't have the coffee with a straw because it is best sipped with a little cream and a little tea. It reminded me of a nai gai tea we used to get in Charleston. A bit of a let down here. This is a new boba place in Ala Moana outside of Macy's. Since it just opened, I had to give it a try! First, the service. When I went there, there was a guy and a girl working... the guy was very friendly, greeted me and offered to answer any questions I had. The girl was not as friendly, and she is the one that took my order. Second, the drinks. I got two. First, the Oreo Ice Blended with pearl. It was ok, but for the amount of calories it has (as shown on the menu) it wasn't super tasty. Not bad, just ok. Boba was ok, but also not the greatest. Overall, just very meh. Second, the Strawberry Ice Blended with lychee jelly and ice cream was a fail. The girl asked are you ok with the ice cream on top? Hmm, what option do I have? On the bottom with my jelly? In a separate cup? Not knowing, I just said yes. Then when I get the drink, from bottom to top it's jelly, blended drink, and ice cream. So I ask for a spoon to so I can eat the ice cream. The girl tells me, we don't have spoons. Ok, undeterred I end up jabbing the scoop of ice cream with the straw to eat it (or drink it I guess you could say, lol). Just an odd drink. I've had slushy floats before, but this was just not that. Also, the ice cream was a double edged sword! It was a pain to deal with, but it tasted better than the drink or the jelly. The jelly was harder than I expected too. Overall, just not the greatest drinks or experience. For the strawberry drink, maybe blending the ice cream into the drink would be better, however, I'm not sure if that would throw off the taste of the blended strawberry part. They are located next to Macy's across the Lanai. Like other tea places, this is another. However, they do not have a gazillion options which I kinds like so it's easier to make a decision. I've gone 2 times and it seems to go smoother each time. Newer staff look at what appears to be directions for each item. The 2nd time I went the staff seemed to know the menu and my order came much quicker. You can adjust ice amount, sweetness and your add-on's. Staff is always friendly. My daughter has gone 5x already and prefers this place in the mall as opposed to others there. They are what I feel is on the pricier side given they are located at the mall. Note that matcha as opposed to just green tea will always be extra though not notated on their menu. Pricing ranges from $6 and up. The shaken drinks are the priciest but come with a scoop of ice cream on top. The matcha milk tea is earthy but light. I get 50% sweet. The day has come - Sharetea is now open at the Ala Moana mall! Sharetea has been my go-to boba shop for years both on the mainland and here in Hawaii as they have been one of the most consistent in quality (drink, toppings, etc). I pretty much like everything on the menu, but I'll usually switch between the QQ Happy Family (milk tea with all the toppings - best bang for your buck), a fruit tea, or an ice blended drink (especially when it's hot out). The boba is chewy and how boba should always taste lol. I find that a lot of other boba shop drinks are too sweet or milky, but Sharetea's drinks are well balanced. I still usually adjust my sweetness and ice levels though (usually 50% sweetness). Price is also reasonable given that they are one size only (considered a large at most places). You can easily find Sharetea on the second floor where Uncle Clay's shave ice stand used to be (near Macy's and the Lanai food court). There is plenty of parking at the mall. Service here is fast and staff were very friendly. Overall, I definitely recommend making a quick stop at Sharetea if you're in the area, shopping at the mall, or have not tried it yet! read more

I haven't been to Ala Moana in so long since the beginning of the pandemic and so many changes has happened. Where Sharetea is now is where the old mochi donut place used to be across from the Lanai. I'm always down for boba no matter what and insisted my husband that we gotta go try. The line wasn't too bad and the service was quick. The menu is also straight to the point so you're in and out and on with your day. The aesthetic of this little shop is so cuteee. I ordered the classic milk tea and my husband wanted to spice it up and got the strawberry ice blended with lychee and ice cream. Both tasted greattttt. My milk tea was so smooth, creamy but not super thick nor decadent. The tapioca pearls were so soft and chewy. It was perfection. My husband's fancy drink was like a blast from the past. It reminded us of a strawberry icee float, essentially that's practically what it was, just fancier lol. Surprisingly it wasn't overly sweet, it was just right. Overall it was nice experiencing something new! I feel like you can't go wrong with everything else on their menu. Located outside of the Oriental Foodcourt on the second floor, their milk tea is as tasty as ever, I normally go to the Waimalu location because it's closer to home, but this location has great and quick service as my original location. Happy to have a taste of the mainland here at another location. The tea I had was good, blended and refreshing for the summer. The milk tea was more bitter on the tea side then my friends thought. They have recently opened their stand next to Macys and across from THE LANAI formally where the famous shaved ice sadly the pandemic closed their shop. The Share Tea located very convenient going to our parked cars and or drink it inside of the food court. I highly recommend Share Tea...the staff are friendly and pleasant that makes my day a great experience to visit there every time I'm there! My first time there I ordered Black Milk Tea with bubbles and sweetness 30%. My Second time I ordered their Hot Classic Black Tea 30% sweetened ~ to my delight it was the best tea I had! I'm a collector for loose black tea leaves not much into tea bags. On our next visit I had the same hot tea with milk. My hubby drank it just to taste but instead he liked so much he drank it all so I had to buy my own cup. They also have winter melon tea in which on my next visit to Ala Moan SC I'll definitely get. There are many Boba Tea's to choose from on Oahu. This is one that I would not recommend. Cailey was working that day, and she was very rude and did not have knowledge of the menu. She said they do not have matcha green tea blended, but there is a large poster with a picture of it right in front of the window. Also, I wanted Bulba and pudding, but she said there could only be one topping. That does not make sense if you are paying. Bad management or training. My friend and I decided to try this place since we were nearby. It's located just outside Macy's and across from the Lanai. There was only two people that was working. Wasn't greeted with the peppiest attitude, but if there's only 2 individuals working I can understand. I decided to get the strawberry blended with lychee jelly and ice cream since it seems to be the most favorited. Whereas, my friend got the mango version.. Honestly, I would not pay 7 dollars for this specific drink. Both drinks were completely watered down and it just tasted as if we were drinking artificial syrup from a bottle. I actually stopped by Ala Moana to pick up brunch at the Lanai Food Court right across Macy's Starbucks. This place caught my eye as I love trying different boba places. It's right across the Lanai Food Court in the little shack looking thing. I think there used to be a shave-ice place here. I was here really early, about 30 minutes after the mall opened. Since it was so early, I didn't feel like drinking what I usually drink at other boba places so I ordered a Coffee Milk Tea with small boba. You can also choose your ice level along with the usual sweetness level. Each drink only comes in 1 size. There were 2 people in front working and they were very friendly. The service was quick too since I was the only customer there. The Coffee Milk Tea was sweet enough, but not overpowering. I actually liked the taste of it even though it didn't have much of a coffee taste. I noticed there was a lot of different flavors and blended boba drinks. If it wasn't so early in the morning, I think I would've tried a sweeter flavor or maybe even the oreo iced blended drink. Overall, the location is easy to find as it's in Ala Moana Center. The prices are the normal $6 range. Their menu has lots of variety, but not where it's too much. I'd come back to try the rest of their menu. read more

Trust the reviews. No willingness to help the customer. Still won't split a drink in 2 cups for my 2 kids like another review mentioned. Charge for the extra cup if it's a cost concern as opposed to giving the customer a straight up no. Ended up purchasing 2 separate drinks for my kids. Also, please order appropriately sized straws. We were given straws that were not tall enough for the cup due to the dome lid they use therefore making it difficult for my kids to drink. As for the milk tea it was pretty generic. Half of the cup was filled with boba leaving less room for the actual drink component. Maybe there should be a boba amount option like there is with the ice and sweetness. I used to be a huge fan and promoter of the Ala Moana Sharetea location, but tonight was a different experience. I ordered 2 blended Thai teas at different sweetness levels. I heard the girl taking our order (Barista #1) tell her colleague (Barista #2) to make both drinks at the lower sweetness level and add more sweetener to the higher sweetness level. Barista #2 started making both drinks. She first filled the first cup, then when she filled the second cup, she realized she didn't have enough. She threw what she made back in the blender and added more sugar and tea to blend and then looked at Barista #1 with an "uh oh" look. Then Barista #1 takes over and tries to salvage the leftovers, but can't. She then starts over on the second drink, but it was a cup of ice with hints of black tea and powder not blended well. The first drink was too sweet and not blended well. They remade both drinks, but both still tasted like water with hints of black tea and powder. I don't think adding more things after first blending is the solution. I really appreciate them remaking our drinks, but I was not happy with the drinks. read more

Finally a new boba spot to try out in the Alamona area! The oolong milk tea is pretty standard, can't mess it up. It is on the lighter side, but maybe that's because I got my milk tea 80% sweet (less sweet). The boba was a bit plasticy, if you know what I mean.
