It's been a minute since I've been back to this ShareTea, and I was so disappointed. The good news is that the quality of the drinks are still the same. I got a mango green tea, no sugar, and brought back plenty of memories as to why I enjoyed it. However, where this place fell flat was the atmosphere. Let me caveat- if you like to study in complete silence, you might enjoy this place. Yes, I came during a weekday, but it's one thing to have the place silent because there's no one here, it's another to have a room at least half full and have it be deadly silent. I was afraid to talk because it was so quiet here. There wasn't even any background music to give it some background noise. The ice maker was the loudest thing in here. Also, I'm super annoyed because the internet sucks. I feel like I'm back in the dial up era where trying to open up a webpage or email takes multiple tries and I'm reading pages of a book in between while waiting for it to load. Even social media wasn't loading. Good ploy if you want people to be off their phones and talking to each other- too bad this place was so quiet today that I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that either. Was on this side of town to run some errands the other day, and decided to stop by and get some boba tea. I ordered my usual which is the Thai Milk Tea and it tasted good. The only negative about it was that I could see that the powder was not properly mixed throughout the drink and it caused clumps in my drink. I've had this happen before and I thought it was a one off situation, but it happened again. Soooo I'm a first timer. I've seen this place all over Houston and I don't know why I never thought to stop in because I love tea. After stopping at Half Price Books next door, my niece was in need of a sweet treat so we ran in. I don't know why I was expecting a larger smoothie selection, but I'm actually pleased with everything on the menu. They offer tea with creama, fruit flavor, milk, fresh milk, signature mojitios (not sure if it's actually alcohol), classic brewed teas and ice blended. They even offer ice level selection and sweetness level so you can personalize your drink to your liking. I love anything with passion fruit and mango so I already knew I was getting the Mango & Passion Fruit Tea, no need to look at the menu further. Of course I added boba and some lychee jelly, how could you not. I was surprised with how GOOD that drink was, I loved it. Next time I'll probably request an 80% sweetness level just cause the lychee added a bit more sweet. So happy with my choice. My sister went for the Classic Black Tea with boba, I tried it myself and that was also very good, perfect sweetness level. My niece wanted to try the Oreo Ice Blended with Pearl, the lady told us it had ice cream in it and she was all for it. She seemed to love it minus the Pearl but she'll soon learn to love it. Came here because I was craving boba the other day but was a little disappointed to find my boba all clumped together in my drink. I have been to share tea in the past and this was my first time coming back in a while. I ordered the Honey milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice. The tea itself was decent and the service was great. I just wish that the drinks could be more consistent. As for seating, they have both table options and a couch area that is great for getting tea with friends. They also have outlets along the wall so that you can study. I would recommend going during the morning or early evening times during the weekdays if you are looking to get a study session in. Sharetea is the best boba chain. I've tried most of their drinks by now, and I've enjoyed all of them (maybe except the oolong tea). My personal favorites are the QQ happy family milk tea, taro milk tea, thai tea ice blended and the matcha creama. The tapioca pearls are always consistently good -- perfect chewy texture and the right amount of sweetness. Unlike other boba places, they don't skimp out on the amount of pearls they put in your drink. You can also tell that the tea they use is quite strong because your drink doesn't taste watered down and bland when you adjust the sweetness level. Of course, you probably have to like lemon, but if you do, this could be one of the most delicious lemon drinks you've had. The owner told me "all our products should be the same at all locations." But he is wrong. Some of the locations are inconsistent. And some of them make some of the drinks completely differently (looking at you, Katy). I've had all kinds of good and bad experiences at different Shareteas - all over the map. And this is one of the best there is. As I said, the owner is a gem, and what a great investment he made in this company. I hope they do very well. Sharetea is SO GOOD! One of the more authentic Taiwanese bubble tea shops in the US. The first Sharetea in Atlanta just opened this year so it is still new to me versus the other bubble tea shops that have been around. This location has a pretty large sitting space, with plenty of tables and chairs. The service moves pretty smoothly, and the line doesn't go out the door, even if there is a long line. There is a rewards program based on your phone number as the membership ID. At this location, I've ordered: Iced Fresh Green Milk Tea with White Boba Hot Matcha with Fresh Milk (no toppings) Iced Classic Green Tea (no toppings) Each drink was tasty, with 30% sugar and less ice (for the iced drinks). While traditionally, milk tea is made with creamer, I love when Fresh Milk Tea is offered as an option. Overall, it's slightly less rich and somewhat better for you, at least in my head it is lol. The white boba was interesting - it's a seasonal topping, and tastes strongly of brown sugar versus the usual boba (or maybe that's just me). The hot matcha can get a little grainy as you get to the bottom of the cup, so make sure to mix occasionally. Temperature of the shop got a little weird for me. I started out pretty hot (from the outdoors) so I got an iced drink. An hour later, I was freezing from the A/C so I got a hot drink. I had to wait for the drink to cool down completely before finishing it since I started to get too hot drinking it. I ended up ordering a cold drink right before leaving. And no, I was not (and am not) pregnant, contrary to popular belief (ITS A FOOD BABY OK?!). Around late afternoon (but before 5), Sharetea began to fill up with groups of students stopping by to hang out and grab drinks after school, so it gets a little noisier and busier. Ive also tried the honey lemon with aloe vera which is very refreshing too. The husband likes the oolong crema and classic oolong milk tea on half sweet and less ice. Prices are between $3.5 for your basic teas up to $5 for the fancier blended ones with ice cream. Plus $0.50 for additional toppings. It can get a little pricey, but is pretty comparable with prices at kung fu tea. Tea bar is even more expensive. Service is prompt and nice too! read more

First time back I wanted to order the highly promoted light bulb drink but was told they were out and awaiting shipment from Taiwan. No biggie, so I decided to get the butterfly pea tea latte in a stardust bottle instead, but when I went up to the counter to receive my drink, it wasn't what the photo showed. It is supposedly a layered drink, but what I got was a homogenous light purple colored tea...and it tasted nothing like tea but more like watered down sweet milk. Second round, being 3 weeks later, I went back with a friend to see if the light bulb drinks were on the menu again and we were told no, they're sold out. So what bothered me was that we weren't told further that they are actually discontinued and don't plan on having it on the menu until we asked what exactly sold out meant to them.
