I've been going to this salon since they reopened two years ago. I got a pedicure on Tuesday and went to get my refill Wednesday. WELL I WILL NEVER BE BACK after Alex(Tina husband) decided to be totally rude and disrespectful to me. I was getting a fill and choose a design once he finished the design I told Him I really didn't like it and asked him to change it. I agreed to the price increase as I did wait till the end. I had no problem with paying extra. Y'all this man removed the polish and proceeded to cut my thumb nail that he just repaired I almost lost my mind and flipped the station but I left and told him I wasn't paying anything. It was TOTALLY UNNECESSARY for him to do that. I was kind I didn't yell I simply didn't like the design that I choose but was willing to pay the extra. So his ass lost the whole tab that would've been $90. It's crazy cause the last time I was there I helped defend this same man who was dealing with an unruly customer (a sister), that they eventually called the cops on. I should actually be looking into pressing assault charges against HIM AND THIS SALON! Y'all lucky I didn't feel like going jail yesterday and didn't make a damn scene. I know I shouldn't have expected the best service being that I came in 1 hour before closing, however the lady at the front desk quoted me 15 minutes. After 35 minutes I still hadn't been serviced and the frustrating part was that A 4 nail technicians were basically doing nothing, talking to other "WORKING" techs, wasting time outside, sitting down in the back room. I can see why all the reviews talk about how clean the place is (floors are spotless), but they're moping the floors instead of servicing me.... I only got a manicure with gel but Ann was so good. Disappointed in the service. Was rushed out, the nail tech huffed and puffed as he did my nails. I simply suggested what I wanted to be changed and his reactions did NOT make me feel comfortable. After leaving dissatisfied I decided to come back the next day to have them done appropriately because I paid over $100 but I had more of an issue than I believe I should have had. Said they would only thin them as (as they were too bulky) and redo the same style which has a minor design on each nail. I just wanted them thinned and a solid color since the design also did not look the way I intended but said they'd charge for another color despite it being a simpler style which also makes no sense. This is typically my go to spot for my nails and toes because they are quick. I go to either Don or Tommy who does a great job on my nails. On 5/27/2023 I came in for a fill in and pedicure. I was immediately seated even though it was packed which is a plus. The guy doing my pedicure used an illegal tool which i told him not to use on my foot (cheese grater) i looked down at my phone real quick and by the time i could say anything else he took the tool and scrubbed the side of my big toe once so deep I started bleeding. He acted like he did not see it. I had to ask for assistance with the bleeding. No antiseptic was offered. I asked for the manager and he said he can only take $15 off my service. That is TOTALLY unacceptable. The service should have been free. He was rude and did not care that my foot was bleeding. He kept saying yea I'm only taking $15 I'm sorry. He is always making little comments to women in their and places services on customers bills who did not ask for those particular services. I will NOT be going back to shark nail bar. The overall experience was nice. The salon is clean & the techs are polite. I will not be returning though! I'm new to town & wanted my nails done. They looked beautiful but I went in on the 18th by the 23rd nails were lifting. I went in to get them fixed but literally the next day nails started lifting. I glued them back on bc I paid over $100 so they finna be seen. Shark won't be my nail home, Wouldn't recommend. read more

I stumbled across this nail shop while leaving Walmart and decided to walk in. Upon first impression it was very clean and the people were friendly. I fell in love with how current and stylish the nail salon seemed to be. The receptionist showed me the Instagram page and the wait was only 5 minutes so I was sold. Tommy was my nail tech. I love him. He is not only funny, but he is extremely attentive to the customer and their needs. I let him freestyle my nails because they had too much to choose from! He did an awesome job. Not gonna lie he did cut my pointer finger a little with the drill. But his service outweighed this minor mishap. Shark Nail Bar has a loyal customer in me. read more

Place is aesthetically nice. The prices not too bad. Only once have I've been and I did NOT like my visit. I would get my nails done often and I have been to different nail places. My problem wasn't so much for my nails but for my service. The technician was a short older man with glasses (I didn't get his name) he was very aggressive, rude and careless. In two occasions he made me bleed and was rude when I flinched from the times he hurt me. I don't know if maybe he was trying to rush me by giving me options on a design or nail length that I did NOT want just to hurry the process. Long story short, probably might not come back again maybe just for ALEX because I heard he was great at doing his job. read more

I got a pedicure which was horrible and got a fillin by someone named Ann which was a guy, let me start off by saying he rushed and then also took a break while doing my nails. It has not been a week yet and my nails are already chipping and breaking. i went in to show them and was told i would have to have a receipt, after spending 116 bucks w their unprofessional asses. i will never go back and i wojuldmt recommend them to anyone. poor customer service at its best then they charge you a fee to use your card!! I came in w/ my daughter told them what we wanted. We signed in the book. When the guy came to get her he tried to jack up the price like $15 from what they have posted. Then she was not satisfied with their service upon sitting down, but she was already started. Then they charge additional if you to use a credit card. So I was waiting for a pedicure and like 5 people have came in and got service before me after I signed in they just walked in and got service. So I went to the lady at the desk and asked if they serviced clients in order? She said it wasn't nobody to do my service at the time, so I sat down, 5 minutes later she came and got the lady that came in after I did. Now I've been sitting here at leat 30 -45 minutes and they just coming to ask me to start my service?! Like what yall done took 6 people in front of me just walking in and sitting down and yall think you gonna get some money from me? And when you tell them what you want they tell you what kind of nails you have and I'm trying to explain to them I have solar nails and they say I have polish on my nails and I said no this is powder.. He said talk to the person who is gonna do your nails.. I was a regular at this place until today. Please when going there make sure you have time to wait. There is no order when it comes to appointment times and if you wait in your car, you'll be waiting the rest of your life. I called prior to going there to see if my favorite nail tech Liam was available. She assured me that Liam only had one person and I would be next. I live 6 minutes away and got there right away. Upon arrival, I had to wait 30 minutes to get a pedicure which took about an hour, I watched Liam finish the girls nails and as my toes are under the LED light, I see her point someone else into the seat. I called her over and she said that was the one person I had ahead of me. It upset me a little but he was worth the wait to me. Being very nice, I reminded her that is not what she told me on the phone. Anyways, she said it would be another hour. I told her I would be in my car or my house. I only lived 6 minutes away. She said she was sorry and would give me a call. I gave it an hour, no call so I decided to call. She gave me the okay to come and already dressed, I hopped in the car and got there again.... in 6 MINUTES. When I got there... this woman looked me straight in my face like she didn't recognize me. I told her I just spoke with her about me seeing Liam. She said she got me confused with someone else and she thought I was the girl sitting in the chair right now... i saw my number on the paper and pointed straight to it. If I could rate 0 I would. I came here and spent $60 dollars including a tip for a paraffin pedicure with gel polish.  I leave by the time I reach home the polish is peeling off my toes. I call them and they tell me no problem they will fix them come back first thing in the morning. I get there and all the smiles they had when I paid them $60 the day before were gone. Confusion set in for them and now speaking to me as If I'm beneath them instead of being accommodating and apologetic they make me wait almost an hour again for them to simply polish my nails over. I will never come to this place again. It's sad how African Americans give Asians our business and they disrespect us time and time again. They are all smiles taking our money but once they mess up or do a rush job now your ignorant and not supposed to speak up.
