If it is your child's first haircut they get their picture taken and it is put on the wall which is wallpapered with pictures of all of the kids that have come in over the years. Ask about their package as I am not sure what else comes with it. The cuts are inexpensive and the stylists are some of the best I have ever seen when it comes to working with kids! I spent approximately $1,100 at this salon for extension hair, installation, color, highlights, and…read morea haircut. Unfortunately, the finished result looked nothing like what I expected based on my consultation. During the consultation, my stylist was positive and confident. She showed me a beautiful inspiration photo and the proposed extension color, and she told me I would receive a total transformation. I left feeling excited and reassured. Unfortunately, the biggest transformation was not to my hair but to my bank account. After spending three and a half hours in the chair, my hair looked nothing like the inspiration photos was shown. Everyone in the salon was complimentary, so I initially questioned my own reaction. Later that evening, I saw the photo the stylist had posted of the back of my hair on Instagram, and I cried. My hair appeared to be a warm caramel color rather than the cooler color I had requested. When I contacted management, I was initially told that perhaps my hair did not take color well. After I sent photos, the salon refunded the color service, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, there were other problems. Within two days of the installation, pieces of the extensions were sticking out like little spikes. I sought a second opinion from another stylist, who evaluated the extensions and offered to correct the extensions, color, and uneven haircut for free if the original salon would not. The salon had only one appointment available before my vacation to fix extensions and I could not make that time work. I was told that I would be outside the correction window when I returned and that the salon would not refund the $270 extension-installation charge. I was also told that I was not a good fit for the salon. The second stylist corrected the extension installation and gave me a cooler color similar to the one shown in my original inspiration photo. She also added some of her own extension hair. She told me that the extensions I had received contained warm tones that worked against the cooler result I wanted. The extensions also appeared different from the color I remembered being shown during my consultation. The original salon told me I could keep the extensions and take them elsewhere. Since I had paid $450 for the hair, I understood that the extensions belonged to me. Thankfully, this story has a happy ending. I found a talented stylist who listened to me, corrected the problems, and gave me the result I had originally requested. I am now extremely happy with my hair. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this salon for extension and color services. It was an expensive and stressful experience, and I found a much better result elsewhere.
