I showed her pictures of the style I wanted and she delivered. I haven't tried out their hair coloring or highlighting services yet but I definitely recommend a haircut!

When I got there, I was a little confused because it's Sola Salons and then she has a salon she shares with one other person. It's so welcoming and warm. I let them know I was there and she came right over to introduce herself and apologize because she was running behind. She offered me water, snacks and coffee and told me she'd be with me as soon as she could. When I went to her chair, she asked me about my hair, what I wanted, etc. I told her I'd already had one devacut and explained what I didn't like about it. She said she kind of does her own thing mixed with deva and she's been doing deva for about a year and a half. She jumped right in and immediately I could see the changes she was making to the shape happening. I was so happy. Carmela is a very sweet woman and I'm so glad I took the chance! I'll definitely be back to see her again! I will say though, that she sold me a pureology product that has silicones in it. I was truly disheartened to find that after she'd used it and I'd spent more than $20 on it. But I should have looked at ingredients before she used it and I purchased it.

This wasn't just a toner problem - it's a straight up doesn't know how to do hair problem. It's been 3 months, and even after several corrective toners, the brassy bleach still keeps coming through. The best color I've ever received. Owner was there to check the color before the stylist washed it out. The school doesn't look like a school, it looks like a salon. Coffee availabl I asked for the cost of the service if I didn't have a coupon. Surprisingly, it would've only cost $80 and I have long hair! Anywhere else in West Hartford, it would have cost $150+.
