Sharon Layman , It seems this simple clerical fix has turned into an ordeal of he said/she said. I have never had a phone conversation with you personally on this vin situation, 10/23/24. I have had a conversation about putting all my insurance eggs in one basket. This clerical mistake is on your part or your interns involved should have been an easy fix. The second letter is a D, not a 0. The vin starting with a 1D will signify a Dodge Truck according to Tempe Dodge Parts. (Patrick) A 10 will not pull up a vehicle as per the vin. As per the $12.62 bill that you are forcing me to pay is not my mistake. Like I said a few emails back, I have a clipboard with over 8 papers x 2 of the truck in question including registration, smog, title and insurance I have been dealing with. Each time the vin is given, it is repeated. It is that important to me and always has been. Remember, I own over 10 cars and have 20/20 vision. I do remember talking to your phone 1st level intern about the zero needing to be a letter D, such a minor easy fix. (you have avoided me and this conversation) For this situation to come to you wanting to expire my policy that I paid in full for 6 months is extremely harsh when I don't even know what the $12,62 is for. The $75.00 per month was to cover my 2004 Ram !500, nothing else. I did not make this mistake, State Farm did when they populated the vin from the internet. The mistake was made by Safeco prior to State Farm. I came into your office and explained to your interns about this situation and they all agreed. I ask very nicely to fix the problem and you did nothing. Your interns commented that Nathon got in trouble from you due to his bad behavior against me. I am very disappointed with State Farm sending this fraudulent bill to me when all your interns agreed this was wrong of State Farm not to fix it. I was with them for two years. They kept increasing my car insurance! then they doubled it. I proceeded to call progressive to get a far better premium and canceled State Farm! I called to told them I wanted a refund because i had just paid my premium. I was told I would get the refund in 2 weeks. I waited & waited! Nothing! called 5 times and they kept promising! Finally called them and they told me I'm not getting a refund! I do not recommend them! And when you call you wait a good 2 minutes, listening to their annoying message machine! The coverage and rates are exactly what we needed compared to our prior Insurance Company that raised rates exponentially, even without any claims. My first complaint about this office is their website says they are open on Saturdays. I drove over to this office on Saturday, Dec 3 around 10:30am and they were definitely closed. I decided I would give them another chance. I went in on December 6th and spoke with Danyella. She was nice but needed to get some input from Sharon due to how my vehicles are registered. I appreciate Sharon taking some time to full explain auto insurance to me. However, beware! The office is pushy and seems to be more focused on sales than the actual customer. I originally signed up with this State Farm office December 6. The next morning, I decided I was going to hold off on transferring my policy to State Farm for 1-2 months while I charged around my car registrations. I emailed Danyella and let her know I wanted to cancel everything we did the day prior. She assured me she would cancel the newly created policy and I would be issued a full refund. On December 16th, I received a bill from State Farm requesting a payment due on January 4 (for a policy that was supposed to have been canceled). I reached out to Danyella and was told that I received the bill because "the cancellation takes a minute to process". She said she would try to reach out to the billing department to inquire about my refund and I never heard anything more. It's unfortunate, but after 3 weeks of waiting for a cancellation and refund, I had to contact my bank today to dispute the charge. It's about to be 2023 - a large corporation like State Farm shouldn't take weeks to cancel a policy and issue a refund. Beware! read more

Very disappointed with the customer service especially the way customer service person(Alex) do not want to go extra mile to reduce the coverage. I have been with this agent for more than a 4 years now but the called after around one year first time the experience is pathetic. I would recommend some other Agent for statefarm. read more

Very Disappointed with Sharon Layman's State Farm,I have been with them for over three years and between that period of time I was hit by others three times with them 100% at fault, was injured and had to have seven surgeries. I get in a fender bender no one injured and they are canceling my policy! Never a speeding ticket or any other moving violations,What the hell is insurance for. After attempting to get a call back 3 different times about canceling a policy, I have bailed on this agent. I have been with State Farm for a while and enjoyed them, so I've found a new State Farm agent that actually has customer service. While transferring agents, my new agent wanted to give Sharon's office a chance, so he personally placed a phone call asking her office to speak with me regarding the issue I had. Her office didn't even return his phone call or give me a call. Very unprofessional insurance office. If her staff could have done their job in the first place, I would've been happy, but they've failed multiple times at returning phone calls and taking notes. read more

Great advice finding us the right policy to suit our needs. Husband and I Learned a lot from Sharon and Taylor over conference call. They were able to set us up with everything we needed in just a couple days for life insurance even though we live about 80 miles from their office. It was a painless process. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. Our only regret is that we didn't do this sooner. We actually didn't even know this existed. We are pretty happy with our return of premium policy that pays us back at the end of the 20 year term. Ask them to help you before you have another birthday. read more
