Rob took such care to keep things clean and neat, and made sure that we had use of our major appliances each night. Even the shop he set up in our garage was immaculate. Rob is also just such a nice, pleasant guy to work with. His communication throughout the planning was great. He was very accommodating when I wanted to make a last minute change to the hardware on our drawers. He even installed some pull outs for us and upgraded our hinges to soft-close. It is like we got a brand new kitchen without the hassle of a major remodel. Our stairs had the standard maple rails from the 90s and we wanted to make them coordinate better with our floors. I found Rob when I went searching for a cabinet painter to paint all the builder grade oak cabinets in my house. First I had him do the whole upstairs and was so happy with his professionalism and quality workmanship that I subsequently hired him to paint my kitchen cabinets. He cleans up after each day, he shows up when he says he will, and he finishes the job when he says he will. Can't beat that! That was about a year ago and the paint has held up beautifully. No marring, or stickiness from constant wipe downs (I went white). I've hired him to stain & paint my new stair case -which looks amazing (black & white). Today he came by to quote painting new office doors and a mantel I just had installed. He is the only person I would want in my house. Rob did an excellent job on our kitchen cabinets last March. He painted our old oak cabinets white and added beadboard to our island. I am still in the middle of my kitchen cabinet painting with Rob but felt inclined to brag about his work. I agree with other reviewers that 5 stars is not enough for Rob. He is honest, reasonable, takes pride in his work. If you watch him, he is like an artist, it comes so easy for him. He respects your home and makes a stressful upheaval of your home so easy. He makes sure your kitchen is available to cook in, make coffee or whatever on a daily basis so you don't spend tons eating out for the entire time your kitchen is remodeled. I didn't worry about cleaning my kitchen or floors before this project knowing I was having work done for a week or more, well my fridge and kitchen is cleaner now in the middle of the work before he even started. He goes out of his way to pay attention to every small detail. He even brought his skill saw (?), staple gun and extra trim (outside of the scope of our contract) to replace a very small one inch piece of trim that was missing on a cabinet to make it perfect. He has taught me a lot and I look forward to updating this review with before and after pictures when we are done. If Rob is busy and doesn't meet your time frame, you are missing out... Rob completed a large kitchen project and did an exceptional job. There were numerous white wash cabinets that he transformed into antique glazed cabinets that now appear custom quality grade. The project turned out beautifully and looks like a brand new kitchen.
