I bought two $85 tickets ($170) for stadium seating from Sharp for the 2025 Rose Parade thinking I had great seats. Little did I know I was going to be seated under a massive pine tree with the only view straight ahead and no way to see the floats or parade coming until it was directly in front of our seats. So you only get a side view of the floats/bands, etc. This was not disclosed when I purchased the tickets. We were in the back row corner and everyone in this section had the tree in their way and blocking the view of the coming attractions until it was right in front of you. This was at 1540 E. Colorado Section: 1540 Aisle 3 Row: F Seat: 101 and 102. DO NOT BUY A TICKET ANYWHERE NEAR THIS ONE. We purchased 4 tickets to the rose parade float decorating viewing today. Made a reservation for 1 pm. Arrived at 12:45 as Sharp Seating instructed not to be late. Waited in line 2 hours before we could enter. Sharp Seating sold too many tickets to accommodate. Volunteers at the venue were apologetic. I felt bad for them. Sharp spoiled the experience. Ok we're back! They have caught up to the times & send e-tickets for the float viewing. The emails are a little confusing because they have one automated email that goes to everyone & it pertains to the parade NOT float viewing. But don't panic, later that day they send your ticket & float viewing info (I did panic & had to call their customer service to find this out...) BEFORE YOU GET IN: The line is still insanely long & for most of the time it's both ticketed & unticketed guests which is SUPER ANNOYING for those of us that have purchased tickets. They need more staff at the ticket booth, security & in general for crowd control ONCE YOU ARE IN: if you can go on Jan 2 or 3rd do that because the 1st in BANANAS. The floats are amazing & I will return every year I can, but it's pretty crowded & people are not aware of their surroundings. Difficult if you have a stroller or wheelchair (no wagons allowed). There are a few overpriced food vendors ($8 for a lukewarm, stale pretzel), so eat before or bring snacks. It takes about 90 min to walk through. read more

Bought tickets for floatfest for 01/01/25. Per site, arrive at least 30 mins early to have ample time to take shuttle from lot to event site. We arrived at. PCC lot at 1445. The line to get on the shuttle bus was ridiculously long. At around 1540, i went up to a service rep in white coat to inquire about the status of the shuttle services. I was then told that the last service was done. We were told to take uber as an option but the wait time to get in the venue is about an hour and they close at 1600. We were not able to attend the event. Sharp seating is closed for the whole January. Why would the ticketing office be close when the event runs through jan 3? Tried calling the phone number but just had automated response. Sent multilple emails demanding for a refund but never got a response. Wasnt able to use tickets for the remaining event dates. Please provide a refund. Pasadena City needs to address this issue. read more

For the Rose Parade they oversold parking passes. When we got back to the structure we found that they'd allowed cars to park in the lanes so we were all trapped until those people returned to their cars (and some took their sweet time). No employees were in sight so it was chaos. It's beyond unacceptable. What if there was a medical emergency?? She also provided a map & directions to get to the parade on the day - Anyone who lives in Pasadena knows how insane it is trying to avoid blocked off streets. So right now, I'm very happy. We purchased 5 tickets to view the Pasadena Rose Parade Floats on Monday January 2, 2023 and arrived at the Pasadena City College location to shuttle to the event at 1:30pm (Shuttles began service at 1pm per your website). My mother-in-law requires a wheelchair and after standing in an incredibly long line for an hour, we were informed (by chance mind you, because we overheard a Rose Parade Staff member telling a mother with a stroller) that there was a separate line for wheelchairs and strollers. We waited in this line until 3:22pm when I spoke to a Rose Parade Staff member not associated with your company. He was extremely polite and just as frustrated with the clear overbooking of this event and lack of adequate shuttles to accommodate the amount of people tickets were sold too. He informed me that even once we may arrive at the floats slated to close at 5pm, there was an additional line per the Fire Marshall not allowing in persons due to capacity, and that the shuttles were going to stop running at 4pm. As we were clearly not going to make it to board a shuttle to be transported to the floats we left. The Staff Member told us he thought our tickets would be honored for Jan 3rd, but my in-laws flew home the morning of January 3rd and myself and my husband had to return to work. I would have loved to speak to one of your representatives, but none were present, and your help line stated you were closed until February! There is no way you can legally abide by your "no refund" policy when you are clearly negligent in overbooking, understaffing, and under supplying shuttles. You better adjust how you handle ticket sales in the future with potential windows of entry to stagger the crowd or at least a ticket cap based on Fire Marshall regulations. We wasted over 4 hours traveling to and from the event and standing in line to not even see a single float on the last day of my in-laws visit which would have been better spent at home for some quality time. Thanks for starting our New Year out on an awful note and you're lucky we don't sue you for compensatory damages. A full refund is required or there will be legal ramifications. read more

Happy 2020 everyone! In my ongoing efforts of giving my 9 year old as much of the Southern California traditions and experiences as possible I had to make sure she saw the Rose Parade. My niece and her kids were also joining us so we wanted to be in the bleachers and not worry about the hub bub and bustle of wrangling for free sidewalk viewing. After some research we realized there was only one option. Sharp Seating is the exclusive ticket outlet for the Rose parade. If you want tickets they will have come through Sharp Seating at some point. We kinda got a late start and hence our tickets were on the high side. $110 a pop, certainly not in every families budget. We were right at the heart of media land at the beginning of the parade route at Colorado and Orange Grove. All of the floats were in working order and the bands were all fresh as this was mile zero in their 4.5 mile trek. Our seats offered a great view and we were fortunate to be on the south side of Colorado so the direct sunlight was not in our eyes. Since we were in Row A we did have a barrier retaining fence directly in our view but it ended up being fine. I would have preferred to be a few rows up or a least a dozen for what it's worth. We were in Area 1 of which there are 5 grandstand areas for parade viewing. A few things to keep in mind, the best seats with the best views and best value sell out fast. They start taking deposits in early February for the following years Rose Parade so it helps to get an early jump. Also they only sell hard tickets, nothing digital as of 2020 but who knows that may change. If you buy early enough they mail them to your home, otherwise you have to pick them up directly. They also sell parking. I would use Sharp again and take a look at some other seating options within the 5 areas. All in all it was a good experience. read more

I'm honestly a little disappointed with how my trip went because I feel like it could've gone a lot more smoother if more people knew how to help. So, I tried to buy a parking ticket online but the only way to acquire the ticket was through will call. We live 3 hours away and the only available time to pickup the ticket was at the office before 6pm New Year's Eve. I even called to ask if there's any other way to obtain a parking pass but I was just told that if we get there early enough "we shouldn't have a problem finding parking". Printing them was not even an option so we had no choice but to go early with some hope & luck to find something decent. It's our first time ever in Pasadena so the moment we get to a closed off location we asked a person in white if they knew anywhere we can park for the parade. They responded with "I'm not quite sure" and told us to go somewhere that ended up being closed off. We then ended up finding an area that was designated to the rose bowl parade parking, that entire lot was full & when we asked the lady where we can go because everything is closed off she said "I'm not sure". We luckily found a parking garage and tried to find our way to our section. I asked another lady in white if she can help us find our section as I showed her my tickets and she didn't know where we were supposed to be either. Long story short after asking multiple people for help, we ended up at the far west side of Colorado blvd due to people telling us to go there but we needed to be SEVEN blocks down the opposite direction on east Colorado blvd. We finally found our location after helplessly walking for a while, we sit down to see that our view is a bit obstructed. Granted the tree didn't have leaves or anything but these did not feel like $80 seats. At this point, frustrated with how everything is going, I would've rather camped out on the street. Not to mention the bleachers are so narrow that everyone's knees are digging into each others back. So if you're pretty tall, good luck getting comfy. The parade itself was nice being that it was our first time ever seeing it in person. We've heard so many great things that our expectations to this whole experience was pretty high but we left feeling a little defeated. Again, my biggest complaint is that I wish that the workers/volunteers had more information on how to help people. Worst first experience I had going to the rose parade float exhibit. Arrived at the line for the shuttle at 1:40. Waited in line for about 2 hours amongst hundreds of other visitors in the Pasadena college parking lot. Around 3:34 finally was able to get on the shuttle to the floats. Arrived to the area around 3:50. Once at the gate was told by the Sheriff the venue closed at 4:00pm and was turned around. Not one of the rose parade event employee was there to keep us informed of what's going on or allow my family and the other 5 shuttles behind us in, because the event was closed at 4:00pm. Disappointed because this was not due to our fault, we were there at the time window posted on the internet from 1:30-4:00. The delay was caused by a mass influx of people who had tickets and the process to get on the shuttle was time consuming. Traffic with the inside streets getting to the area was also a factor. I was fortunate to have my kids in the Rose Parade so of course I had to buy tickets! I had a good experience with Sharp the first time so I definitely had to buy from them the 2nd time around. Very easy to purchase online and the tickets are mailed to you. I would recommend purchasing tickets for the Rose Parade in advance so that you would have more options in regards for seats. Ranges are from $55 to $100. I ordered $60 seats and everyone in my party seemed happy with our seats. Last year we sat in front of PCC and those seats were also good and we got to park on the campus lot. You can also order by phone, mail, or at the ticket office. I chose to also purchase a ticket for reserved parking for $35 which was quite pricey but it removes the hassle of looking for parking. Luckily they try to reserve a spot near where your seats are. They also sell tickets for pre and post parade events: decorating places, bandfest, post parade, equestfest, and pancake breakfast. Just returned from our LA trip watching our high schoolers march in the rose parade. We purchased tickets to the Bandfest and all went well there. We also purchased grandstand tickets and a parking pass. The grandstand tickets were pretty bad - no space side to side or front to back. We were crammed together to say the least. I had the knees of the person behind me jammed in my back for the 4 hours we sat there. The worst was that the parking pass I purchased for $50 did not work at all. When I scanned at exit it repeatedly gave the code "invalid credentials". With several other cars behind me trying to leave the parade, I had no choice but to pay again for parking. In 2021, I Purchased $1200 in seating tix for my family for the Rose Bowl parade to start 2022. Was super excited until Omicron hit. Most of the people coming were senior citizens and couldn't travel. Now, I had fantastic seats near the cameras and tried to work with the company to maybe take them back to sell to others who might have been interested. They would have been an easy sell because they were right next to cameras. They basically told me the tix were my problem and to sell on Craigslist. No one wanting to go to the Rose Bowl parade buys tix from craigslist. Basically, it meant I had to eat the entire cost. I tried asking for half, a quarter, ANYTHING. They could have been winners here getting paid extra on the tix. But no, nothing. A little empathy and compromise would have gone a long way with creating a relationship with me and would have made me a life long customer. Now, I will NEVER attend ANY function with seating run by them. They are trash and will treat you like trash should any hiccups present themselves. Be warned! With three little ones NOW old enough to throw out a "Remember when...?", we wanted to get up close & personal to the Rose Parade spectacle but not yet ready to brave the weather & festivities New Year's Eve brings. Since NONE of our friends & family could drop some knowledge on how it all goes down along The Parade route, we did a last minute bleacher online purchase on 12/22/14. Then I realized, shoulda checked yelp! Aw, shucks!!! Oh well. Life lessons are forever. There's NO e-tickets so you can only receive them by mail or pick up at will call window at the office. We received an invoice of our purchase by mail on 12/24/14. Alright, tickets should be here soon! However, with nothing but Christmas cards & junk mail by 12/30/14, we sent an e-mail that evening. We get a e-mail response the next morning, 8:44am 12/31/14, saying, "If you haven't received your tickets by today, you'll have to pick it up at the will call window at the business office." WHAT?!?! That's in Pasadena!!! I'm IN Oxnard!!! Wow! Hmmm, okay, that's slightly inconvenient. A call to the office confirms that is the only Plan B, cuz they're not open New Year's Day. It's a good thing they're REALLY "flexible", too. For our "benefit," their office is open until 5pm, 1 hour later than the normal closing time, on New Year's Eve, which is about the time when traffic on the 210 East is HORRIBLE!!! If you've been on the 210 East after 1pm, you know what kinda unbearable crawl goes on there. Luckily, I don't have much of a work load that allows us escape by 2pm and fortunately, get to the office by 4:22pm. When asked does this happen often, the lovely window lady answers, "You know how the holidays are." Actually, I haven't had much of a holiday "issue" until today. With their will call line at least 10 people deep the whole time we were there, I'm assuming, maybe in their reality, it happens with some frequency? Regardless, glad it all worked out. Our seats were in section 1580, aisle 1, row W, on the Pasadena City College grounds. Parking was VERY close to our bleachers. Lots of Port-a-Potties close by. Minimal room to pass through the aisles. No food vendors runnin' through our area. There are a few trees and their shadows in the way that limit quality of pics, but NOT at all hinder the enjoyment of the parade itself. All but 1 band played in our area. Everyone was completely friendly and upbeat. Worth doing Sharp Seating again? Guess it'll depend on how flexible my family becomes in the future. I DO NOT like the uncertainty & hassle of their ticket process, but I did enjoy the ease of access during The Day. I'd recommend being proactive about those tickets if you choose the bleacher route. Just so you know, everyone working on the bleachers for Sharp Seating for the New Year's festivities are VOLUNTEERS! We waited two hours just to get on the shuttle that took us from Pasadena City College to post parade float. We were told the delay is due to Homeland security which is understandable. However once the Homeland security gave a go ahead, the company started loading people on bus one by one even though they have at least 20+ bus waiting there ready to go. Everyone is wondering why they are not loading 10 buses at a time instead of 1 bus at a time. Clearly there is either no one in charge at the site or the person who is in charge is lack of basic common sense. Apparently the buses had been blocked from coming to pick up people in line, but this was not communicated to any of us. I had to go searching for an answer as to why we were waiting in line with no movement. After two hours in line, there was still no end in sight, and it was getting dark. Our seat with Sharp Seating Company were part of our travel package to the Rose Parade. Large crowds and cold metal bleachers are rarely a good combination, but I appreciated having a designated seat and helpful staff at each entrance to make sense of it all. The bleachers are quite close together, especially with seat cushions and blankets and gear, but everyone had a clear view of the parade as long as everyone remained seated. They are bleachers, so don't drop anything! The space underneath is fenced off, and you will have to miss a bit to retrieve any items (like phones) that fall. There were port-a-potties relatively close by to each section, so the lines weren't too long. If you're going, and you're not a local who is willing to sleep over night, get your seats with Sharp. read more

I ordered my Rose Parade tickets in November and promptly received them in the mail. I had some questions about parking and gave them a call, and my questions were answered right away. My assigned parking was at 100 Walnut Street (the Parsons building), and the instructions were to arrive before 6am due to street closures. We decided we didn't care enough to get there so early and that we would find parking elsewhere, so we got there around 7:50am (parade starts at 8am) and were still able to easily park at the Parsons structure. We speculated that it might even have been easier parking so close to the parade start time since 99% of the other viewers were already parked and at their viewing spots. If possible, I'd recommend getting seats on the south side of the parade since the sun was a little intense on the north side seats! read more

This company failed to disclose that our reserved bleacher seats had a big tree directly in front of them! Most reputable venues for concerts, sports, and the like ... will inform you ahead of purchase when there is an obstruction. And ... the seats were not cheap! I purchased the post parade float viewing. I had a reserved time. When i arrived the line was over a mile long. I later learned that they were no longer letting people in to view the floats. No one bothered to tell the people waiting at the end of the line. Staff told me the "company" over booked the capacity and to request a refund. Today i called and their number now goes to a machine that says they are closed till February. There was was at least 1000 people who purchased tickets and not allowed in. I have no way of knowing how to request a refund. One would think they would do the honorable thing and update their website with an apology and instructions on how to get our money back. We've had our tickets for over 25 years. Sharp Seating is a great company, very professional and we just couldn't have better service. I have just one complaint you probably can't do anything about, but when people bring those hard collapsible seats, they take away from 2-4 inches of legroom. Happy 2020! My parents are great fans of the Rose Parade and every year they go out of their way to see it. This year I decided to get them tickets in the bleachers so they could be comfortable and not have to stand. Sharp Seating was great and made everything simple. My wife purchased tickets on Dec 30 on a whim, we had been before but now the kids are older and so is Grandma. The only option was to pick up the tickets at their offices, which was expected. Being a sensible person, I figured the best time to pick up the tickets would be early in the morning, so up and at 'em on Saturday Morning. No traffic getting there, walk right up to the counter and get my tickets. The lady working there was extremely helpful, making sure that my envelope had everything including detailed instructions on how to get to the parking lot I had purchased access to. Sharp Seating is not Ticketmaster but they don't aim to be! It is a small family owned and run company completely dedicated to the Rose Parade and it's events. Some tips I learned from the wonderful ladies who work there: - Tickets go one sale the first business day in February for the following Rose Parade. If you want the largest options in terms of seating book early. - At present there is an option to print Post Parade e-tickets / print at home but no other e-ticket options. Physical tickets are mailed via the post office, held at Will Call until 12/31 or sent via Fedex for an additional charge --- if you order early this is not an issue but if you wait until the end it's risky. - I really appreciate that they include a wide area map that is marked with where my seats and my parking are in relation to each other and the parking directions helped me find my way easily. - There is a special request section when ordering online and they do their best to honor those request. If you have really specific desires it is best to call and speak with them directly. - They have a physical office that you can purchase your Rose Parade tickets 11 months out of the year in person. Hours vary in different months but they list the hours online. - They are closed January 1st so all Will Call orders have to be picked up by 12/31/15. - Seating tips: South side of the street has the sun to your back, North side is the sunny side. Seating rows go from A-Z then continue on in double letters i.e. AA, some letters are omitted but I am not 100% sure which ones those are. We LOVE having seats and not having to camp out in the cold for a good view of the parade. Having sat in Area 1 near camera corner and also in Area 4 at Pasadena City College both areas and experience have been great. In Area 1 you have to park by 6:00AM and in Area 4 parking is suggested by 7AM so where I sit each year depends on how early I want to wake up. Sharp Seating really pours love into the experience and I like supporting local family businesses. I am sure in the future they will have e-tickets for everything but for now order early so the tickets have time for shipping. I purchased four tickets from Sharp Seating for the 2011 Rose Parade. The tickets were the most expensive tickets available at $88 and I purchased them on the first day they went on sale almost 1 year before the parade. I was assured the seats were excellent. To my huge disappointment the parade started a block before our seats! We missed several of the floats, bands and even the grand marshal. When contacted Sharp Seating responded that the beginning floats, bands, and grand marshal were only for the t.v. cameras. Sharp Seating assured me these were the best seats! I would avoid Sharp Seating. Very disappointing to spend almost $400 and not see the entire parade. read more
