Not worth the $80+ price tag after applicable fees for general weekend admission. Driving into World of Illumination was a breeze because we had the first time slot of the day (6pm). No long line to enter as it took us roughly 10 minutes from the entrance to the start of Reindeer Road. The entire drive through experience lasted maybe 15-20 minutes. There is a specific radio station to tune into which pairs with the dancing lights. If this is your first drive through Christmas lights experience, I could see the appeal but there are much better ones around SoCal for almost the same price tag (Nights of Light OC was amazing last year and there were even live actors included, Santa, "snow" etc.). Can't justify the price tag and would personally not recommend this particular Christmas light show. read more

First off, finding this place was impossible. The instructions said to turn on gate 1 but we came from the opposite direction and after circling the mall and Santa Anita park we found gate 1 and the one entrance. Some signage would have been helpful except that only exists at gate 1. 20 minutes of playing find the entrance.. the worst part, we spent more time finding the place than driving the actual lights! We finally check in and slow drive through, it's not busy. We got the $59 pass from Costco but I added the lightning and 3D glasses package so it's a $100 trip, we take my friend and our kids and go! The website says the show is 25-30 minutes? Seriously, no. We started at 8:01 pm this was when we woke the baby up to see the lights and we were done by 8:13 pm. 12 minutes? What a joke. The lights were cool but some of them were broken, kind of ruined the effect for some of the areas, for the price I would at least expected it to be maintained better for the length of their show. C'est la vie. Next year I'll try a different show, but this was less than expected for the price! read more

this was the most underwhelming and totally not worth $75 thing to ever do during the holiday season. i was honestly most excited about reaching the exit than the entire 1 mile we drove here. firstly, they have got to either fix or change their "radio sync" altogether because it was static most of the time and the times when you can actually hear the music it was so low, that you literally have to turn it up to volume 100 or something ;( also, the lights show was extremely boring. most of the time the lights were either off or partially on. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH $75!! Please spend your money and time more wisely than we did. read more

The light show itself was absolutely beautiful, even though it was in a parking lot of a mall lol I also need to add the music didn't put me in the Christmas spirit it seemed more like concert. I purchased a GA ticket and the line took over an hr to just drive in. But the "dasher" line was no better ! Unfortunately those people had to wait a long time as well. Drive by holiday favorites like snowmen and reindeer, Christmas trees and elves, gingerbread houses and Santa's Workshop at the North Pole. If you are so lucky you may even catch a glimpse of jolly old Saint Nick himself. Exploring each world at a leisurely 3MPH you certainly won't miss a thing. And driving through the various tunnels is sure to amaze.  As you gawk at the colorful lights illuminating and moving around you, and perhaps dance along with the music playing over the stereo, the experience will surely fill your spirit with the magic of Christmas. Surprised my kids on a Monday and took them to Reindeer Road. I chose Monday in hopes to eliminate any wait times and traffic and I'm glad that I did! We drove right in through the waves of neon purple lights. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. It took us about 15 minutes from start to finish. Beautiful lights and show, unfortunately the wait was over 30 minutes. It doesn't really matter what time you get because they wait is long. I don't understand why they emphasize the time slot if they sell the same time to several people and the wait is too long. I attended a stranger things event that were better organized than this. First let me start with saying it's finally that time of year. This was a super last minute thing with the kids on a Tuesday night. All the staff were definitely in Christmas spirit which made it feel even better experience to experience super warm and Christmas feels all the way! $60 for only $12 more you can get 4 3D Glasses which the kids loved. Tee who was the first at the gate when you finally enter was super nice also great customer service!She got the kids pumped for the lights & in the Christmas spirit! As we exited there was another worker named Hunter who had great customer service and made sure all cars were excited safely! 10/10 definitely recommend for any family to come! read more

So I'm going to have to agree with several of the previous reviews. The directions to the place are terrible. Drove a round a bit and then had to ask someone whom I believe worked at the racetrack for directions. There were no illuminated signs directing you and the only sign that mentions Gate 1 is pretty hard to see. Once we found it, there was no line which was great. Once we got in, it was okay. The show itself was fine, but about a LOT of the displays were not working. Now for the price, this really isn't acceptable. It was more of a budget type of event. Horrible. There are a ton of fake good reviews on here. How is it that all these reviewers know 2 peoples names every time talking about how great they are? And the only pictures or reviews they have are of this place? Fake. After the 1 Ticket purchase of $79 for one car on a Monday night which included a dasher pass and $13 for fees (whatever that means). Our total came to $92. For 4 adults and one baby it came out to $18.40 for each person so I was expecting it to be as good as going of not better than going out to the movies. I litterally clicked their map on the email I was sent. I followed the GPS on my phone to get down to Arcadia. When we got down there it took me basically to a hospital where we could not cut through the parking lot so we had to go searching in the location at the end of the GPS. We had to go all along the outside of the fence where we could see they had the lights, looking for an entrance since they had no signs showing the way to get there. We finally make it to the entrance after asking one of the workers at a different location and make our way in. The dasher pass looked like it got me ahead of 3 cars which I dont think was worth paying for at all. It took us maybe 10 minutes to go through the whole show and we were going about 2 to 3 miles per hour the whole time and it was very underwhelming. We asked the guy at the exit If we were aloud to go through the light show one more time and he tells us "I'am afraid you cant! Sorry, have a nice night!". Unbelievable! $92 and an hour in traffic to get there and they wont even let you go back around once more for a 10 minute drive. It's a huge rip off, save your money. At least if you go to the theater it's cheaper and the entertainment lasts 2 more hours. Just go looking at your neaborhood Christmas lights. It's just as good. read more

We came to this event pretty early we were greeted by Lisa and Bailey. Since we were the first to arrive they gave us the opportunity to be leading everyone, when my daughter heard that she was really happy . The whole staff was very attentive . It wasn't too crowded which it was good because it makes everything flow smoother we drove 3-5 mph speed limit which wasn't hard to do haha... we also got the 3-d glasses it was kinda cool to see (surprise I don't want to spoil it ) every light we saw. The stages were pretty cool and some lights had different pattern when they lit up . Overall my family was happy and we were also greeted at the end of the show by Sammy .. What a rip off! There are better drive thru light displays out there. There are ones with people dancing and in costumes with Santa, people on stilts, fake snow while you're driving. They take your picture of your family in the car. They even sell snacks in the beginning because they are MUCH longer!! This one I feel was less than 15 mins. I went to one in the OC fairgrounds last year. This year we went to this one because it was near the house. Also, it had been raining all day and was still raining that night. I wanted to reschedule so we could be able to open our windows and see the lights better but they said NO. They still operate even in rain. Well a lot of the lights were not working right. Not sure if the rain had anything to do with it. Totally not worth it. No wonder they don't sell tickets on site. If you saw what you were gonna pay for, you wouldn't want to proceed. Go to the arboretum next door if you are able to walk a little. read more

Ok so boom....Surprised the kiddos with what I thought was a mobile winter wonderland experience of fun and excitement. You know what I pulled up into? A damn parking lot full of non-moving vehicles. If I wanted to sit in traffic like this, I would have taken the family to a dodger game and try to navigate the dodger parking lot. This was a joke from the gate. Spent the $89+ for "VIP" dash pass lane tickets and instead of laughing at the slow moving lane full of cheapskates who chose to pay regular entrance fee, I was stuck in my own roadblock of non-moving dash passed vehicles. VIP lane is over an hour wait. read more

By, far the worse experience ever. I recommend "Elf On The Shelf" in Pomona. Definitely, not worth the money. At, least the "Elf On The Shelf" one is interactive. Why have a time slot if, you are having people wait for almost an hour. Like, some of the yelpers were saying not even all of the displays of lights were on. Definitely, not worth the money. Online, it states the biggest light show but not true. Some of the lights were not functioning & it seemed somewhat pricey. If you are going with a full car, then worth the price since you can split the cost but if only two people, then, price was a limit too much for what you got. I've seen better at other locations. This is a beautiful light show once you finally figure out how to get in! I spent 30 minutes trying to find "Gate 1"!!! There is no guidance or direction unless you drive around and look for someone wearing a yellow vest. They are few and far between mind you. They need to come up with a better system guiding you to the entrance and shine some lights on the signs/gate numbers because they are definitely EASY TO MISS. This is an amazing event but could gain much more popularity IF the signs posted were more clear and easier to find. What a great event but thoroughly disappointed in the lack of ease to FIND THE ENTRANCE! Sunshine and Lisa were the most helpful "traffic control" members but unfortunately, you can only find them once you actually enter the light show. It was honestly an odd night, my friend and I went to Arcadia hoping the 626 market would be open, but we pretty much stumbled across the amazing light show. It didn't seem as much at first but Lisa S. And Bailey were extremely kind and funny that it made our night a whole lot better. 10/10; I must recommend to take your truck and fit in as many people as you possibly can since it's a really amazing show. read more
