Do not use this company i signed up over 3 months ago for bookkeeping and tax services they were supposed to do my bookkeeping monthly quarterly taxes and get my SCorporation done Nothing done they forgot about me and when I called to see if anything was done they had no idea what I was talking about. The most unprofessional people DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR TAXES you will be in big trouble!!!! Rude and very disorganized not what you want in a CPA bookkeeper. read more

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Owner doesn't communicate. Owner doesn't respond to emails, phone calls, or registered letters. I have never left a bad review but in this case I need to warn future clients. read more

NEVER HAVE I EVER DEALT WITH SO MUCH INCOMPETENCE! Maybe needs to brush up on his education to be qualified for certain tasks. His customer service is lacking. I'd recommend that you stay clear of this one. I don't recommend. If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

As happy as one can be when it comes to taxes. I used to do my own taxes with software until one year I let Bill do it, after I had an issue with the software. Bill was able to get me $1200 more then the software. That was 3 years ago. Now I started my own business and I use Bill and I will only let him take care of it. All I have to do is make money and send him receipts, he takes care of everything. He is always available to answer our question. I highly recommend William R Sharrett Bookeeping. read more

I got some bad tax advice from this company that cost me over $10,000. But, bear in mind that the advice I got was FREE. Sigh. I had a tax situation involving some business property I sold. Bill told me he could advise me on this for $50. I had a preliminary meeting and the told me I was on the right path but he wanted to see more documentation, which I provided to his office. I tried to make a follow up appointment several times but he would not return my call. I continued on my path and it was definitely not the proper path. read more

I was quoted $220 with a $30 connivence fee since it was last minute. I agreed to the price and was told they'd arrive at 3:30pm. The employee didn't arrive till after 5 and after a strange encounter was told it would only take him an hour (which I thought was odd). I come back to the apartment to find him outside on a phone call - I paid the man and once inside the appliances were cleaned but my floors still looked like how I left them. It was dark and it had been a long day of moving. This morning I got a better look at the apartment and it was the worst cleaning job I've experienced. The counters weren't wiped down, my fan blades were still dusty, the blinds were still dirty, the floors were never mopped or swept, the list goes on. I contacted the owner to give her a chance to resolve this and she offered to come back on Wednesday to clean. I declined because I no longer have access to that apartment since I moved out. I was looking for a partial refund and was met with "I'm sorry you had a bad experience - I'll make sure to train my employees better". If you're looking to get ripped off I would say they're the people for the job. A $20 refund was offered on a $250 payment for a $80 quality job. I hope no one has the same experience.

As Camp Fire Survivors who stand to benefit greatly from passage of the 2023 H.R. 5863 law, we are now in the process of amending our tax returns for 2021, 2022, and 2023 in Turbotax. We haven't been clients of Sharrett in the past, yet John Knecht has been generous with answering questions and providing information related to filing these amendments - both in a Facebook group and privately via email.
