That being said, I can say that I have never received bad service by my "hair-wife", Michelle at Salon 56. I have had the pleasure of being her "hair-husband" for coming up on 18 years now. We've known each other longer than we have known our respective spouses and I've had to let my hair grow a little extra long through the birth of all three of her kids. If you're looking for someone that is amazing, go see Michelle (assuming she's taking new clients). She's worth every minute of the nearly 1/2 hour it takes to drive from my house to see her.

However, I saw that this barbershop popped up in the new building and for some reason I thought I'd give it a shot. As expected, the pricing is a little more expensive that your typical great clips, but it was 100% worth it. I was able to walk in and Damien cut my hair. He had an attention to detail unlike any other person that has ever cut my hair and gave me a haircut I've never had before. He crushed it! The haircut took almost 40 mins, which was a long time, but I felt almost like Damien was Michael Angelo and I was his sculpture. I also had by beard trimmed and a hot towel shave. Even after a 40 min hair cut, he took just as much care with the trim and shave. The actual decoration and vibe inside was also top notch. I had my 4 year old with me and they had a little corner with toys and an arcade game. They also have a snake enclosure under the front desk and a very friendly dog that was so well trained, I didn't even realize it was there until halfway through my hair cuts. They also have a very large tv playing movies. All in all, bubba B's (and by extension Damien) has earned a new customer. I won't be going anywhere else in the future
