They're in good company, as there are multiple Halal trucks, serving different cuisines and specializing in all kinds of food. The local following is impressive, but seeing as they have a perfect rating across different platforms, they're clearly doing something right. I ordered the beef and lamb chunks, a $27 (with tax) which had the perfect amount of char with just a hint of smokiness. Despite the price, I was floored at how delicious it was. The chicken shawarma arabi ($12) is a popular choice, while the mixed grill ($18) provides some variety between the meats. The chicken skewer ($6) and lamb with fat ($7) were both outstanding. The guy behind the window was friendly and dealt with every customer in a long line with ease. Credit cards are most definitely accepted and the wait for the food ended up being somewhere around 20 minutes. Unlike the other food trucks, they actually have outdoor seating with a few (albeit janky) picnic tables. This spot will become one of my most frequent when I'm in the area.

It's operated by younger chefs and they managed to make the food taste like it came out of a Palestinan grandmas kitchen BUT the shawarma is not like the typical rotisserie shaved meat with garlic toum in flatbread. It has its own distinct flavor/ sauce/ style of cooking. The smoky flavor in the rice is exceptional, pretty unique! Solid hummus as well. If you want that rotisserie type, toasted sandwich flavor with a skewer of juicy tender meat on the side, hit up Al Mankal food truck, also Palestinan owned. They can't be beat.
