Went here for the first time. We ordered plain beef nihari, lakhnawi kabab and tawa chicken for the main course. The beef nihari was super good 10/10 The lakhnawi kabab was very soft and delicious 10/10 The tawa chicken was tasty too 9/10 We ordered beef khausay for appetizer and aaloo bun kabab both weren't good especially the khausay (they only serve khausay on Wednesdays) 4/10 The ambiance of the restaurant was nice and cozy they had a nice seating arrangement. The service was good and they have a bell on each table to call the server for anything you need. Overall I liked the restaurant and will definitely come back for good food!

On a recent trip to DDK kabob n grill, we ordered the following items: Chaat Papri. Very savory n flavorful Seekh kabob. Juicy n well seasoned Bihari kabob. Beef was tender and seasoned Chicken Tikka. Seasoned and char grilled. Bhindi. Curried okra with all the seasoning n spices Chicken chow Mein. Flavorful Chicken fried rice. Flavorful with a good blend. There was one other item which I've completely drawn a blank. We enjoyed our food. Our service was maintained throughout the visit. Ambiance was nice from inside. They even have a section where people enjoy food, while seated on the carpet with cushions n pillows.

It was somewhat amusing when my cousin suggested going to DDK Kabob & Grill for Chinese food .... To be more specific this is Pakistani Chinese Food which I would argue is the best type of Chinese food in the world, with apologies to my Chinese friends and also to Panda Express which is our good old American Chinese food. So we went here for Chinese food and it was quite delicious. They do Pakistani Chinese food justice. The stand out was chicken with chilies, they had a sauced version and a dry version and our table got both along with chow mein, chicken fried rice and a few other staples. Since it is called DDK KABOB & grill we decided to order one plate of bihari boti to try and that too was quite good. The service was also nice. The owner was there on this eve when we visited she was quite active in keeping things well orchestrated. I had pictures of the food at one point but sadly it appears I deleted them so take my word for it that the food looked as good as it tasted, or see other yelper's pics :). On a side note they also have the fancy low tables where you take your shoes off and semi sit on the floor if that floats your boat. Wherever you sit I'm confident you'll get a good meal here.

I'm always craving Indian food even when I'm on vacation. Found myself having a craving for biriyani so I looked up places near where I was staying. This Pakistanian place has nihari which I love but decided to keep it light since I didn't want leftovers. The young lady that answered the phone was very nice and pleasant when I called to place my order. The restaurant is nice inside with many families dining in. The goat biriyani was delicious! Warning for the spicy sensitive people, this does pack a bit of a kick to it. The rice was perfectly spicy for me and the meat tender and flavorful. The portion was perfect and left me full with a little snack for later. Craving satisfied! Reading the other reviews, looks like I will definitely get the nihari next time I'm staying in the area.

Delicious biryani here without going all the way to Hillcroft. I tried their chicken biryani, tawa chicken and garlic naan. All the dishes were so good that it was tough to choose the best out of the three for me. :) Very good portion size too. I did takeout so can't tell about the service. But, the takeout service was efficient, it was ready on given estimated time. I'm definitely returning!

We went to DDK last night and it was a great experience,we decided to dine in and ordered chicken Biryani,Nihari,Naan, chicken seekh kabab and chicken chowmein ,faloda shots in dessert, food was in good portions and fair prices, staff was very vigilant and on point in listening to customers, hygiene of the place is very important and I was happy to see that they're taking care of things well. Staff kept checking on us if we're doing good and how are we liking the food, which reflects good customer service. Spice level is moderate, food was fresh. I recommend this place and will be back for trying out other dishes as well .

Great food and shareable dishes. Pratha was yummy and the dal & beef/goat in rice too.

I say "main server" because there is a roving band of servers to make sure they don't miss anything! All the dishes were wonderful, however everything had some "spice", so be careful if you "can't take the heat". The menu is huge, so I believe there has to be something for everyone. The ambience is minimalist, clean bright, "food hall", but in a good way. Not a dark cozy date night place, but more bright, family restaurant decor. Because there are so many choices, I will be back, and could probably eat here all week long and not repeat a meal. Full disclosure however, we were there on a Tuesday, so everything was very chill. I hear this place is CRAZY crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly.

The menu is pretty extensive. While waiting for our food we were given cucumbers and carrots with a dill yogurt type sauce. If I knew how spicy the food was going to be, I wouldn't have enjoyed them before my entree. I specifically asked what the mild dishes were but my food was still inedible. Unfortunately I cannot tolerate anything spicy. And apparently they do not accommodate heat levels so you get what you get. Literally everything we were served except the naan was way too spicy for me. Even my son who enjoys spicy food found the "medium" was very spicy. Food aside, the service was not very hospitable. This place runs like a well oiled machine. The service is fast but don't expect any niceties. When we were asked how we liked the food, my son mentioned the heat level and was basically reprimanded on how "next time he should listen to the server". With it being one of the top restaurants, this experience has left me scratching my head. Overall, I'm glad I was able to finally give this place a shot but for me, it doesn't live up to the hype.

I came at 1:00 p.m. so I'm not quite sure why they were out but regardless, my next order was the beef short ribs. They were bigger than I thought and so completely marinated and Rich herbs and spices I was floored. A very easy 10 out of 10. The steamed veggies that came with it which were steamed carrots and cauliflower were so incredibly delicious. 10 out of 10. The mashed potatoes it came with were decent. Not bad, not great. I would say 7 out of 10. I also ordered the garlic naan. Absolutely delicious. They give you huge pieces and I was so thankful. Parts were crispy and parts were soft so it was like perfection. The garlic naan was a nine out of 10 for later. I wish there was a little bit more salt but it was perfect for dipping into my my wings and the sauce it came with. Overall. I am absolutely coming back again. I've actually been trying to go for a long time. The inside is really beautiful and stunningly clean. The wait staff is super hospitable and kind. It took me this long to go because I kept looking at their prices and couldn't justify, but don't be like me and let it scare you away. The portions are definitely more than enough for 2. They are not stingy with their portion size. Looks like their weekday lunch prices are pretty decent so I'm going to have to go back for that for sure. Pretty much everything we had was great. I will say next time I want to try a more traditional tomato based Karahi. Family size Naan was $10 it's probably like 3 regular naan super fluffy not dense so it's easy to eat. Chole was perfect great flavor all around chickpeas were soft. Mango lassi was good but I think it was too heavy for me so I may pass on it next time and leave more room for food. Not sure what kind of fish they use for the lahori fish but the flavors were great, I feel like it should come with fries and I wish it was another type of fish but otherwise on point. The Karahi was chicken breast, really good flavor if you are introducing someone to Pakistani food,it's cream based so it's milder but still has great flavor. My bill was around $87 and I definitely had leftovers. I suggest not going alone if you are getting off the regular menu and not weekday lunch.

The goat chops were extremely tough and difficult to eat, lacking the tenderness that should be expected from this dish. The beef seekh kabab was equally disappointing--very dry, bland, and lacking the seasoning and flavor that typically make seekh kababs enjoyable. Both items appeared overcooked and did not reflect the quality standards I was expecting. I'm providing this feedback not to criticize, but to encourage management to review kitchen quality control, food preparation, and consistency. These are signature menu items, and they should be prepared with much greater attention to texture, moisture, and flavor.
