They rave about being a halel deli so even their bacon is all beef. ( I eat pork but noting it for those who don't) The Reuben sandwich was quite tasty. The bread & meat were toasted just right, not too hard. And the marbled rye bread was really good. They allowed me to add whatever veggies I wanted with no up charge so the onions, tomatoes, peppers & cucumber add-ons made for terrific enhancements to the basic reuben. My friend and I decided to try Q's deli next door after working out together in Sugarland. I got their most popular sandwich, the Reuben. It has a ton of thinly sliced pastrami with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing on marble rye. The meat is pretty high quality and I really liked the sauce on it. It could use a little more fatty pieces as most of it is lean but it was still good. They also gave me some jalapeños and pickles on the side and they definitely elevated it a lot. Okay so first things first. Just getting into the lot was ehh... The parking spaces are very small. Im talking 1985 corolla size, tonka truck sized. This is a small strip center so if its busy, good luck. Its right next to a Mint Dentistry as well. So I ordered my son a chicken tender basket and I ordered the chicken tender loaded fries. The fries with the sauce, onions and peppers were good but maybe add a little more holy trinity. Hardly any protein as most of it was just the skin of the chicken. The tables were dirty however, the cashier did come by and wipe the table off that was next to me as to not disturb where I was sitting. We had lunch at Q's Deli in Sugarland. We ordered the Reuben, Chopped. Geese sandwich, and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. The sandwiches were delicious and served quickly. Mr. Fayyez, the owner, served us and he explained the menu highlighting the popular items. The place was spacious and clean with plenty of seating. A really good deli samich has a couple of components that make it. The bread is a huge one, how the meat is sliced, distribution of the veggies and cheese and the sauces and of course chips. So you have to have bread that can handle your samich and there the texture of fresh lettuce and thinly sliced meats, then there is the even spread of mustard mayo etc. these guys have it down to a science. I ask for recommendation and there are no questions they just give me options. They are always super busy but they do take care of their customers. We come here often and I only have good things to say honestly. Food is always good and atmosphere is welcoming. However, I am a mom, so I will give praise to any establishment that considers kids with their menu/atmosphere and helps a mom out! I went to go pick up food one day, and it was just me and my little one. I pulled up and called to see if our order was ready, and he said it would be a few minutes. I said thats fine and all I said is I have my kid in the car.... I didn't even finish my sentence... and right away Ali offered to come to my car and grab my card to pay and deliver my food to my car. I REALLY appreciated that! If you know my son..... he is tough to get in out of that car. On top of that! Before I even made it home.... my son ate all his kids meal and kept saying "mmmm yummmy" the whole car ride.
