Shawarma bros has a nice open location, very clean, along with kind staff and a drive through - although would suggest going inside to see the assortment of additions to your food. I purchased two wraps - chicken/steak and it was overall an above average wrap. The tahini/hummus was fresh, the meat was flavorful, I also like how they grill pressed the wraps, and they had no shortage of fresh toppings to add to your wrap. It also came out to 20$ which was very fair for the amount of food I received in the two wraps. I also was full after one full wrap, I've had wraps at other locations where you don't feel full after eating but definitely not the case here. I ordered a butter chicken bowl through the drive through. When I got home , I found it wasn't the butter chicken bowl but a falafel bowl. I looked at the receipt , I ordered correctly but order was filled wrong. I was charged butter chicken , got falafel , charged more.. They charged $14.99 instead of their website price of $13.29. The falafel bowl is $11.29. So i was charged $14.99 instead of $11,29 for what they gave me and not what i ordered. . I didn't have it that day but took it out today . Shawarma Bros on 127th and Harlem - they've only been open a short amount of time and we've eaten there an embarrassing number of times - very friendly staff, excellent quality food, creative options! They do take a bit of time to prepare your food because it's made fresh to order so I do recommend calling ahead for carry out. You can dine in as well. Some of our favorites are the Bros Chicken, Shawarma Fries, Spicy Chicken wrap, falafel, grape leaves, and the Saj bread - so good! We have been to other middle eastern fast food places many times as well and love them but I think Shawarma Bros might be our new favorite. Show them some love! I stumbled upon this option while in the area. Service is the key with any restaurant, regardless of the quality of food or price. I ordered a very simple order (a few appetizers), and clocked the waiting time at 10 minutes at the pick up window. Not a single worker came to the window to complete the order, and so inevitably, I left. Hopefully that's not how there service is on the regular, because that was tragic. Perhaps some better management would improve the experience who wants to chance it and possibly wait a lifetime for food items that should take less than 2 minutes to fulfill.
