Since I walked in, i was greeted kindly. The staff that took my order was courteous and professional. The combo plate of chicken and beef steak was great. Salad was fresh and crispy. Humus was good. Lentil soup was delicious. Regionally, it tastes good to me because I am a Turk. Tabouli was unbelievably great. However, I would have had preferred the parsley finely chopped...minced. I ordered 2 more plates to go. I cannot comment on any other of the foods and has a 5 star based on my current experience. Too bad they're at this location... they would make a killing in thousand oaks...i would be they're most frequented customer. I know what I am talking about when I say it's good. Seasonings are well balanced. Some places serve a bowl of rice and a tablespoon of main dish. This place is even so every spoonful was equally enjoyed. read more

We ordered beef kabab, the meat was not well cooked it was really hard to chew. The rice was not that tasty and didn't taste like the usual restaurant rice (maybe they use a different brand). It was our first order hopefully the next one would be better :) read more

First let me say 1 star is not for the food. The food is decent. It's for the fact I ordered nearly $50 and near the completion of the order I get informed there is NO more hummus which staple of middle eastern cuisine, in place without informing me placed yogurt instead, again did not give me an option just did. I will say when I asked about the hummus he did add side of taboola, but had to request. Second on their online menu order of beef lulu is 4.99 but at the restaurant is only a plate of 10.99. So they were disingenuous or they don't know their own menu. Overall again food was ok, beef lulu was soso, chicken was ok ,the business it self I did not appreciate the lack of communication and what seemed like disingenuous nature of the service. I guess I can't expect everything to be Zankou Chicken or Seasoning Alley. The food was decent. I ordered the half chicken special and it was a pretty good deal for $6.99. Why 3 stars? The mini nats flying around were a big turn off. The garlic sauce portions were too tiny. The fluffy Mediterranean rice that I am use to was not present. Everything kind of just felt thrown together. The first time I went here, they were out of meat. Okay , it happens. I went back the next day with two friends. I received my order within 20 minutes, my friend received his 20 minutes after that, my second friend never received this order at all. After an hour of waiting we walked up to the cashier only to find out they had completely lost track of the order. They were able to issue a refund on the card we paid with and instead had to pay as cash. The sandwiches like meat and are essentially lettuce wraps. The hummus has too much tahini and is better. The pickled radish was also bitter. The fries have been cooked in oil that was way too cold and were raw and floppy. read more

Someone recommended this place. I drove with my wife from Glendale to eat dinner here. The food was delicious, the customer service was graet. The portions are big with graet prices. I really wanted to like this place. I went for lunch for the first time. For beginners it took an hour to get my food. My buddy got his 20 minutes before me so we had to watch each other eat. We got the same plate. As far as the food goes, the Shawarma was decent. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. The fries were under cooked so they tasted bad. The hummus was very low flavored and bland. The pickled beets were some of the worst I had. Everything aside, it's close to where I work and live but I will never go back because they made me very late for work. read more

We had a small 25 person crew, and I wanted to treat them to a good meal for their hard work. The catering arrived two hours late, and the refused to take any responsibility for the fact that we had to order an entirely additional lunch which cost us a couple hundred dollars. The food was cold and tasteless, and did not even include utensils. I would never order from them again. Easiest thing to make guys canned hummus you add tahin very little , garlic, salt, lemon juice simple that's it. Shawarna had no flavor whatsoever . Haven't tried any other meal. Wow! My falafel was sooooo bad, the worst I have ever had! The Picture on the menu shows round moist falafel balls. I got very dry, overcooked, turd-shaped falafel that tasted like sawdust.
