I had the lamb wrap, but since this was the first time having shawarma, I didnt have clue what to put on it, so it could have been my fault, maybe I was supposed to add different sauces in the wrap. The lamb shank was tender and delicious, but didn't come with any roasted veggies and everything else was pretty average. Like most places in Denver, Beef shawarma was dry, rice was under seasoned, and baba' was pretty short on eggplant kick. I had the fatoush salad , as I was not offered tabouli as an option, which I would prefer. Overall value was pretty good and I was satisfied- definitely an ok quick meal and better than the junk at garbanzo's. Service is quick and polite, no complaints with the staff. Not my favorite shawarma in town, but easily the best and quickest service of most restaurants, not just Mediterranean fare. I will always prioritize fast-casual places over sit-downs, and probably hit this place up 3-4 times a month. The meat is a tad dry/overdone, especially for the price (hence the star reduction). But everything else is on point (definitely add a falafel!). I don't like being upcharged for the tabbouleh salad, but the fact that they even have it is wonderful news to me. You can choose between burrito or a plate. It was my first time eating here, I didn't know what to order, so I let the cook who served me on the line help me. He basically gave me traditional food items and topped it with whatever sauce/oil/spice the food usually is paired with. The plate also comes with warmed pita bread circle. Man this place really surprised me! My coworkers and I saw this place on Yelp and got super excited looking at the pictures and reviews so we had to try it. First time coming here and went base on Yelp reviews. I'm from California and love " the halal guys" . The staff was nice and we order 2 mix plate, both was beef and lamb. The lamb was delicious and juicy. Wish I could say that for the beef but it was sooo dry and tough. Found this place by accident one day. I stopped in and the aromas as I entered made my tastebuds crave. I ordered a lamb plate with spicy hummus. They gave me a generous amount of lamb with fresh taziki sauce. It was tender and well seasoned. The salad was tasty. The hummus was freshly made and Spicy. They also included pita bread which added to the dish. I'm impressed with everything. I will be back to try other choices. The owner was also nice and offered suggestions. This place is absolutely delicious and so authentic! You can see the meat in the back rotating as you walk in and it had my mouth watering. The sauces were exceptionally delicious, I'd def recommend trying at least the garlic and Tahini sauce! Everything was delicious and I will happily come back soon, I couldn't get enough! Not very flavorful, especially the chicken "shawarma". It had zero seasoning and looks like it's just sliced off a roasted chicken breast. Best Mediterranean food I've had yet! The ingredients are fresh, well-seasoned, and under 10$ (for the wraps). The wraps are excellent--toasted between a panini press, so the pita is slightly crunchy but still soft. My favorite is the falafel wrap (because I don't really like meat).
