Upon collecting my order, I discovered that it was ordered via DoorDash, and I had indeed paid the extra fee. Furthermore, despite one of the dishes containing pine nuts, they attempted to charge me an additional fee for them. The menu explicitly states "hummus with lamb and pine nuts." I've been going to Shish Palace for years but I'm done. The Shish Kafta was so dry from being reheated. So it's upset with my experience today. In the past I always been happy and sometimes it's been hit or miss but today just made up my mind. I'm done.

All the booths would be nightmares for families with young children as they are bar height with unsafe seating for little ones. Don't want a booth? The only other option is sitting at a bar. Not great if you're fidgety or need accessibility. I ordered the small shawarma salad and our son ordered a large. The chicken was cooked well, but the salad was extremely SALTY. My son uses a lot of salt and even he agreed. Hubby ordered the Bucharest shawarma box. The curly fries were decent.
