My husband and I are usually fans of Lebanese Grill however, lately the experience has been less than ideal - especially for carry out. We asked for extra chicken in the shawarma sandwich which was of extra charge (of course!) what we got was a barely filled piece of pita bread. The chicken was superb, but I was charged for everything individually which was $8 more than the combination. I even asked her to make it a combination since we got extras and they refused. I got carry out recently and order was supposed to be ready by 6:09pm, I had my son run in to grab it, and they told him 10 minutes. Was around 6:30, so I ran in to see what was going on, and the young girls at the front told me she burnt the chicken and had to remake it... so should be another 10 minutes. They weren't super apologetic and the young girls must've thought it was funny. Also took over 10 minutes and I was running late to a meeting I had. The cook in the back said she gave me extra chicken... this was the end result. Chicken was burnt anyway... could've even been the original one she burnt. I ordered 2 salads, and a chicken tawook dinner. The rice was all clumped together, so not fresh. I've been a customer here for over 10 years... and the quality has just gone down a ton, not sure if it's new owners, because I never see the guy I would see anymore. Decided to give this place to try after driving through the area for meeting. Located in a long Strip center, Lebanese Grill is located next to Coney Island in the video game store. Plenty of parking that is located directly in front of the restaurant, which is always great. The interior of the restaurant is the same as what it was seven years ago when I last came in. Since moving out of state, I have not been back, but remember great things from this place, hence, the reason I decided to go back. Unfortunately, the food was not up to par. I ordered the vegetarian combo, one with hummus, Bubba, grape leaves, tabouli, Lebanese salad, and a side of turnips. The grape leaves were good, even though I only received 3 of them along with the Lebanese salad but the hummus unfortunately was not. It was very whipped and pasty with no taste. Anytime I go to a Middle Eastern restaurant I always check the hummus, if it is not good, that means the rest of the meal will be subpar. Unfortunately, I was correct. I was really looking forward to being fooled by the time I left here, but that did not happen. My family wasn't too impressed with their meal either, and they said the food was a bit on the dryer side. After spending $75 plus for three meals and not being satisfied was a bummer. We notify the waitress but she didn't offer to fix anything or allow for the manager to come over to speak with us. Although we had three to go boxes, only one of them were utilized and by the time we got home, my sister ended up, throwing her food out anyway. I hate to write a bad review, but this time around with no good and I think I'll just stick to traveling to Dearborn next time I want Middle Eastern cuisine. Id rather they pick a direction meaning if they want to shrink portions and lower quality/ charge for what used to be free then dont raise the price... or raise the price a bit more and maintain the standard as before. Came here to grab two fattoush salads for our healthy meal. We were promptly greeted and told to pick a table without an X on it for social distancing. We picked a booth that would get the least amount of foot traffic. Amir waited on us, he grabbed us some water and brought our fattoush salads in less than 3 minutes. The salads looks green and healthy. The dressing looks tangy and good as well. Dressing is nice and super flavorful and nicely seasoned. The Romaine is nice and green and fresh. So much good seasoning in their dressing. The cabbage, radish, cucumber and tomatoes are all fresh and crispy too. Service is good, attentive and swift and their fattoush salad is so good and tasty. We also ordered a carrot and OJ raw juice as well. The carrot OJ juice is a perfect blend of OJ and carrot, not overly abundant on carrots. I like to be able to still taste the OJ some and I do. $23.82 for our two salad and raw juice. It was all good here tonight. read more

The fattoush salad was basically lettuce and tomato, maybe one piece of radish and a few cucumber pieces. Only one small container of salad dressing for a large salad. 2019-09-30 Lebanese Grill. Rochester Hills, MI. With several locations scattered around SE Michigan, Lebanese Grill is no stranger to Middle Eastern food. The food isn't great, but it's not bad either. Today, I met a friend for lunch and he picked this place. Lebanese Grill is typically on the pricier side, and their lunch menu doesn't offer much reprieve. With lunch plates ranging from $10 (vegetarian), to $13 (beef or lamb). Chicken/Beef Kaftas and Shawarma meat are in between at $11 and $12 respectively. Substitutions are $2 to upgrade your rice/fries to grilled vegetables or to upgrade your soup/house salad to a Lebanese salad. This location in Rochester Hills is located in the northeast corner of Rochester Road and Auburn Rd. It's a massive plaza with Dave's BBQ, Panera, Target, Best Buy, and a slew of other stores. Natually with such a large plaza, there is plenty of free plaza parking. This location also has an outdoor patio, but it was on the cooler side today so we decided to dine inside. We arrived just before noon and the place wasn't busy at all so we had no problem getting seated. Today I decided to go with the Shish Kafta with Lentil Soup. Lentil Soup. It appears that the food is somewhat consistent across locations. After tasting it, I remember my previous experience with it, and it was a memorable one... The soup was a bit chunky and watery, and the color was a little off. More lentil, more cook time needed. 2 stars. Shish Kafta. 2 lamb and beef kaftas (smaller than the dinner portion), served with rice and tahini. Garnished with some parsley, a tomato, and a lone picked turnip. The photo in the menu showed grilled vegetables, but they were non existent on mine. The Tahini was topped with paprika and parsley, but once again they were inconsistent. Here at the Rochester Hills location, no olives are added, leaving the Tahini with a dry aftertaste like most other places. The cook and the flavors of the kafta were good, but not good enough to make of for the shortcomings of the missing grilled veggies, and skimpy garnishes. 2 stars. The only consistency was the fresh baked pita and toum. I'm not a fan of mass produced pita, and was glad they didn't serve that here. The toum (whipped garlic spread) was a little on the spicy side (old garlic), but I love the stuff, so I still enjoyed it. 4 stars. Overall a 2,5 star experience at this location. I just wanted to say I've been here several times over the course of 3 years and I always love their food, their prices and portions, but this time they jibbed me. I always get the lunch specials for shish Kafta and tawook. They usually come as pretty large size kabobs with some roasted carrots onions a tomato and a generous portion of fries. This time I got the same 1 skewer but with 5 small pieces of tawook, no vegetables in either of my lunch specials, minimal amount of fries and none of the fries on either meal was even fried properly. It legit looked like a kids meal and my 3 year old was able to finish it easy & he eats small portions. I've attached the photo of this sad meal I received after paying $11 for it. As for the Shish Kafta, I got a decent portion but again no veggies and undercooked fries. I called and spoke with the location and he seemed to get annoyed and said that they haven't changed the size of the skewer of the chicken tawook but wouldn't address my other complaints and then got annoyed telling me "ma'am this is how the lunch portions come". I never had a problem with this place in 3 years until now and all he said was "I don't know what to say, I'm sorry you feel that way" and that was it! & not in a apologetic tone but in whatever kind of tone. I will give 1 star because the taste was still good but the ridiculous downsizing of portions and items and the rude response, this place is not the same. Almost didn't go here because of only having 3 1/2 stars on Yelp, but so happy we did. Not sure why they have that rating. My hubby and me are big fans of Lebanese whenever we are visiting Michigan and seeing my family, and we always go to La Marsa which is just down the street. So decided to give this place a whirl. The staff was friendly and super attentive. Our food came out quick . The garlic paste and warm pita was a hit right out of the park. I had the crushed lentil soup and Lebanese salad. Both delish. My hubby had the lunch special with the chicken kabob, rice and salad. Great like every Lebanese place in Michigan. First time customer to Lebanese Grill. Came in on a Saturday around 8pm or so and only two other customers were in the restaurant eating. Took a decently long time for a hostess to come seat us. I was not sure if they were even open based on how long it took. The hostess once she seated us with friendly. Our waitress was also nice but inattentive. The inside of the resturant and bathrooms were decorated nicely and were clean. Unfortunately, our waitress spent most of her time in a booth across the restaurant sitting while playing on her phone. Drinks were not filled in a timely matter or checking-in on how we were doing when I believe we were her only customers. The menu is vast and typical of a Lebanese restaurant with all the traditional fixings. The hummus was creamy and excellent and the bread was warm. My entree was also tasty and I had no issues. My husband got the baked kibbie and it was ice cold in the middle. He also said it did not taste well either. Took a bit of time for the waitress to come over and see how our food was. He got the grape leaves instead and was much happier with this selection. Lots of more waiting around - this time for the bill to check out. A few other people came in to get carry out but no other customers came in. The service was my least favorite part and with so many other Lebanese restaurants in the area I am not sure I will be back here. read more

I have always, alwaysssss loved Lebanese Grill. We used to eat here as a family, and I have a consistent, insatiable craving for this spot while I'm in Atlanta. Every time I come home to visit my family, we make a point to visit this place. Since dining inside isn't safe and we have a little bebe in our family now, I ordered takeout from LG and brought it over to my sister's house last night for the fam. Happy to say, the portion sizes are massive, per usual. We ordered (3) chicken shawarma meals and it will most certainly last about 9 grown-up meals. The meals each come with a salad and rice or veggies, as well as a perfect portion of garlic sauce. Usually we order extra garlic sauce, but I forgot this time. I also forgot to order our usual side of hummus (I'm slipping!), but the dinner was still absolutely perfect. This is a great lunch time spot / service is prompt and portions to size and price during this time of day. Typically no wait; few " feeder " businesses in the area. I recommend the Chicken shawarma sandwich - the garlic sauce is a nice touch. Unsure if it's made differently here, but more noticeable on their sandwiches than at other establishments. This place has the best lentil soup!! I had the chicken schwarma on top of hummus and it came with the choice of soup or salad and a side of either rice or french fries. Probably my favorite Middle Eastern Restaurant in the area BUT my wife and I stopped in tonight for dinner and I was shocked to see how much they had raised the prices since the last time we were ther to eat, a Shish Tawook Sandwich is now $9.00 and what was a real joke was a side of fries was $6.00 and the portion was half the amount you used to get, average dinner was $25+ I know prices have gone up everywhere but that's why we don't hardly ever eat our, prices high, food and service is not so good! I can make it better than most places. They really need to re-evaluate what they are charging and serving because we there at dinner time and there was only one other person in the place the whole time we were there. If your looking for bad food n bad service than this is the place! The food is edible at best. The website says they close at 9 pm but if you go at 8:15 and order at 8:30 they tell you they can't make you any raw juices or smoothies. It's already shut down they say! If you than are highly disappointed but order pop, don't hold your breath cuz it will be forgotten. If you ask for more bread n garlic dip only pita will be brought. After the food comes don't expect to be checked on or more water brought. The waitress will be on her phone and putting on her coat. When your husband is choking and needs more water be prepared to get up n beg for a glass of water.
