I finally had a good window of time this week to get rid of some appliances that died some time ago. I live up a flight of stairs, so removing my ancient washer, dryer, and refrigerator, was not an easy feat. Finding the right people to do the job was not difficult, though. After a flaky neighborhood guy that people recommended left me hanging, I put out my question to the Yelp Gods. I received word from 5 of the nearest junk and hauling businesses. The most professional, courteous, and fairest of them all was Shawn's Hauling. The time set up for pick-up was 10am, and Shawn called me at 9:45am to inform me he was caught in traffic and would arrive about 10 min late. Who else does that? Shawn and his partner did a great job. I have been putting this off for so long because I thought it would take hours to do, but these men were efficient and accomplished this in about 35 minutes.
