I just walked out and left. About ten days later on another trip to Ada I thought I would give them another chance. SAME results! Four men there and not a single one ever even said hi, or we will be right with you, or anything. After five minutes I walked out and left. Both times the were two guys at the counter, one walking in and out from the back and both time the same guy sitting in the office that just looked up at me a couple of times. I refuse to pay people to be treated like that. As much as I wanted a nice John Deere I bought a Kabutta instead and I will never need to go there again.

I guess it makes a difference when the owner is not on site. In fairness he sent a text offering to accept a check for the original amount if I would come back. They're the only NH dealership in town, if I had a choice I probably wouldn't do business with them. I called on Monday to discuss service. I had an implement stuck on the back of my tractor. I don't own a trailer and inquired about a service call. I was told that the service would be $125/hr and $1.80 per mile. I did not realize that the per hour charge begins when the truck leaves the shop. Not what I have experienced with other service industries. I expected the entire thing to be between $200 and $250. Maybe I should have known better? I was charged over $350 for the call. The original bill was around 390.00 but they took the "shop supplies" charge off since there were none. The service guy was here for between maybe 15 minutes, but giving the benefit of the doubt, and that I didn't check my watch, I'll say 30 min. I'm located 22 miles from the shop. In late morning traffic that's between 30-35 minutes away. That's an hour of drive time. So calculating 1.5 hours at 125 an hour is 187.50. 1.80 per mile x 44 miles round trip is roughly 80 bucks. That total, 267.50 is a lot, but based on their fees, reasonable. I called to talk to someone who identified herself as the owner. The call was fairly insulting on her part, implying that I should have just known how much it would be, because that's the way everyone works. I've never been charged travel time, but even if I were, by my estimate I was over charged by about 90 bucks. I've said my piece, I've paid my bill and bought one other item from them. Buzzfile business information website lists company revenue at around 13 million. I don't expect that my complaint or the loss of my 350.00 worth of business means much to them. It just sucks that it couldn't have gone better. When it comes to customer service, I think it pays to be kind. I realize that I was pretty frustrated when I called, but that is the nature of customer service and frankly, I was being overcharged. I really do think that my feelings about this would have been different if some concession were made to the fact that I might have had a point.

The owner is rude and a complete jerk…read more We left a string trimmer with them to fix LAST YEAR when they guaranteed us that they could easily fix it, except after we dropped it off we never heard another word. We called this week checking on it and the owner basically laughed at us and told us it was "somewhere outside" and they hadn't touched it since we dropped it off and no parts had been ordered and they didn't have time to talk to us about it. The trimmer was sitting outside in the weather the entire time it's been there and is definitely worse than it was when we dropped it off. I won't be surprised if they've completely ruined our $350 machine. Do not give these people your business, there are plenty of businesses that actually value the customer in the area. We will NEVER give these people our business again.
