Our garage door spring broke late last night, so I called Shea Garage Doors first thing this morning (on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day). Al, the owner, promptly answered the phone and was at our residence within the hour. Al was extremely kind, professional, clean, knowledgeable, and timely. He was able to replace our garage spring, oil our door, and make sure it was balanced within 30 minutes. I went to open my garage door to go to work this morning and found that it would not open. I assumed that the spring was broken and then confirmed it when I looked up at multiple sections. I then went on line to research garage door repair companys and remembered that I saw Shea Garage trucks every day on my route to and from work. I went on Yelp to review their service and found that they got very good marks. So I called them at 6:15 in the morning thinking I would get an answering machine that I could leave a message. Al, the owner, answered and did not accept my apology for calling early and asked if I needed to get to work. I stated that yes I did and he said that he would be there as soon as possible. At 7:10 he was at my door and by 8a.m. he was done replacing my spring and adjusting the close. The best was that it was extremely inexpensive compared to the other companies that I reviewed. I phoned Shea Garage Door office at noon today because I could not open my garage door. A lovely woman put the owner on the phone with me right away. We quickly figured out that one of my springs had broken. He told me that he would be at my home near Anthem by 1:30. To my surprise he showed up 20 minutes earlier than quoted, replaced both springs at my request, lubed and adjusted my garage door and was gone by 2:00pm. My service was friendly, honest, clean, fast and efficient. Just a wonderful job! He educated me on the basics of how my opener worked and taught me how to get my vehicle out should it become stuck again. My opener has never been quieter or ran more smoothly. The icing on the cake was he charged me less than any other garage door company that I had called for quotes near Anthem. One company actually wanted 280.00. I was charged half that.
