Got my haircut sept 2nd which was great-- can't remember if it was Nicolette or Natalie but the stylist was super transparent with me which I loved. The hair color is a different story. I was going from brunette to a full head of blonde highlights, my colorist was Terry, and she destroyed my hair completely. This was my first time dying my hair, she told me she used 4 different types of bleach in my head so I didn't know (at the time) that this was BAD. She put me under the hood dryer and left, my nose and eyes were burning so badly from the bleach I could barely breathe, I had to find a different stylist just to ask if I can be done with that thing. As we were looking at my color in the mirror, I tried to ask her nicely why the highlights look "choppy" on the top of my head-- I was NOT happy with them. She basically tried to gaslight me and said that it's supposed to look that way because I wanted highlights?? The highlights were uneven on both sides of my head, and my hair was YELLOW. To top it off, she got bleach stains on my sweatshirt, even though I had a cover on. How do you even manage to do that? Terry was nice/welcoming from the beginning, and I still tipped her 20% because this was my first time and I was clueless. But I NEVER went back after that experience. Could've gotten some sort of reimbursement for my sweatshirt at least because that was plain messed up. If you have darker hair and want to go lighter or blonde, please DO NOT go to Terry.

Due to my previous hair dyes, I was informed it would take multiple sessions but at the very least I would leave with a cohesive even color, unfortunately, that was not the case. I sat at this salon for 5hrs...five hours...my entire head was bleached and this was the result I was left with. Due to my own personal time constraint I was unable to be fit in for a cut/blow dry, nonetheless, I sat at the salon for 5hrs to be left with horrible, dry, damaged, and unevenly colored hair, all at the cost of $300. I contacted the owner, Christy, who had requested for me to return, but considering the circumstances I was hesitant and rightfully so. I chose to go to a different salon to have my hair corrected, and they were heaven sent. In the same 5hrs Salon Norman Dee took to destroy my hair, this other salon not only properly bleached it, but dyed it, applied a hydration treatment, and gave me a cut/blow dry...all within 5hrs. I have waited for a response from Christy for 3 days now, don't expect any sort of compensation/reimbursement even if you paid for a service that was not provided. For years, many many years, I have tried the best salons ~ from Center City to New Hope ~ and never had that wonderful feeling of an amazing haircut. I dreaded going every time I needed a trim. Salon Anna Noelle is a beautiful, super clean shop with the most friendly staff. Immediately I felt at ease. The decor is lovely and welcoming. Anna is nothing short of incredible. I showed her a photograph, and Anna knew exactly how to make it work for me. It's not merely a hair style ~ it's a true cut so when recreating the style at home, it falls into place. There's no struggle, no over drying, no bad hair days. When I say Anna is a miracle worker it still doesn't give her justice. Her talents and skill are honestly unbelievable. Thank you Anna!!

I actually came back to the salon about 20 minutes after my appointment because the haircut was uneven, and I told you in person that I hated it. It didn't look like any of the photos I showed you -- I asked for long, blended layers - the length to be 2" below my collarbone, and instead my hair was cut into a much shorter bob. The result is at least 5" shorter than what I requested, and the bottom 3" of my hair is very frizzy from the thinning shears. I never get the bottom of my hair layered nor did the pictures I showed you have that style. You also charged me $240 instead of the $160 I was quoted for root color, highlight touch-up, and a haircut -- a 50% upcharge that you said was for extra product. It doesn't make sense that all three services cost $160, but "extra product" alone cost $90 more. This is not blackmail. I waited months hoping you would make it right, but nothing was done. In the meantime, I've had to spend hundreds of dollars on products and tools trying to manage a haircut I didn't ask for -- one I will now be stuck with for a year while it grows out. My review reflects my honest experience so others know what to expect. I would have gladly refrained from posting a review or updated it if my concerns had been handled professionally.

One of the owners came over to to me and hollaring while telling me to get out of the shop. I was not allowed to continue with my appointment. This happened because in the past when I made appointments I had to cancel them due to the expense, The shop is very expensive and if the person can't afford having their hair coiffed then they need to cancel and reschedule. Stephen B. was my hairdresser and he is no longer working there due to a severe accident he had in his home. These new owners need to realize that a business takes a lot of work and expense and not express their rudeness towards the customers.

The thing that I love the most (aside from their expertise) is how nice and welcoming everyone is every time I come. I'm always greeted with hugs and kisses from multiple stylists. The scheduling is always prompt and accommodating. Frankie did my color for years when I lived in Bucks. It was always what I wanted. Aside from awesome color I always loved how fast he was with foils. I hate sitting in the chair for hours, and with Frankie it was never like that. When I have an event in Philly, Andrea is always my go to makeup artist. She's very talented, sweet, and always makes me look amazing!!! I always get so many compliments. Most importantly I would like to highlight Kristin! As I told her today, I wish she would move to LA. I have very curly, wild hair and have had weekly blowouts for the last decade. I've had blowouts in many states and many different salons. Hands down Kristin is the very best out there!! Seriously I can't say enough about how talented she is. At this point I don't even have to tell her what I want, but she's always listened and gave me the exact look, unlike a lot of other experiences I've had. They do a good…read morejob cutting and coloring, but multiple times have had them tell me day of as I walk in that the appointment had to be canceled due to the stylist being sick , but they had the wrong phone number for me , and did not send an email so I came in, and then was told OH I'm sorry, your stylist is sick. On other occasions I was late, maybe 10 minutes, and because of road construction and a train that I had to wait for..which is not their fault nor mine...but they completely canceled the appointment made no accommodations. Very very very disappointing and even though the cut and color is good , I am going to refuse to give my business to them and find somewhere else. I am sure it won't matter in the long run , but when a hair cut is a treat and I go out of my way to plan my day around it or make it on a day I have off of work to be able to take my daughter and am just met with Oops! Or Sorry you had to wait for a train but ya cant get your hair done... I dunno, it just stinks. Without even trying to work it out or even pretending to do so. And once they called while I was on my way, told me I could get cut but no blow dry and then when I walked in said it is completely canceled.
