    Buffalo wings

We visited from out of town and this was our first time. The inside of the restaurant is very unique and I've never seen anything like it. The service was just okay. We ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were big, and very good. I ordered a fish sandwich and it came with coleslaw and a pickle. I added the salad bar for $10 extra. The sandwich was HUGE. It was good, but i was hoping the breading would have had a little more flavor. The salad bar was good, didn't have a big selection but I enjoyed it. My fiancé had the buffalo wings and they were very good and HOT! I enjoyed his more than mine.

We stopped at Spanky's Speakeasy after touring the Revs Institute and were immediately charmed by its quirky, nostalgic decor. It's clearly a Naples classic, with vintage flair and a playful vibe that made it a fun place to land after our museum visit. I ordered the tuna melt, and it was absolutely delicious--crispy, melty, and flavorful. The rest of our group of six mostly ordered burgers, and everyone enjoyed their meals once they arrived. That said, we did end up waiting nearly an hour for our food, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. It was around 2:00 pm, so we understood it was between lunch and dinner, but we didn't receive much communication or explanation about the delay. If you have time to linger and appreciate the eccentric atmosphere, Spanky's has a lot of character and some tasty bites. Just be prepared for a potentially relaxed pace, especially if you're with a larger group.

This is a very unique restaurant in bar. The bar is like an actual old speakeasy. It's very cool bar with a curve. The restaurant is truly unique. There are antiques hanging from the ceiling all over the place. The seller bar is an actual old pickup truck, looks like an old delivery truck up sometime. The service is exceptionally well very nice and knowledgeable. I had a sandwich that I probably should have selected something else. It was their special for the day. It was a prime with melted cheese and onions was not my thing, but I am sure the remainder of the items on the menu are very good. But it's really cool to sit there and look at all the unique things they have hanging and placed all around. One of the very cool things was a round bar like a poker table With four antique barber chairs. That was really cool old gas station pumps and the one thing I really did like is the menu is a fairly small menu. Not too many items that you have to rack your brain and think about. It has a large parking lot, easy to maneuver and you have a stoplight to get back on airport road.

Food is good. I have the soup salad bar and that was delicious. Delicious split pea soup the ambience we sat outside and it was a beautiful day. Nice chair service was OK. The lady seemed like she would rather be home than work overall a good experience.

Yup we made it. We arrived at 8:30, only to find out they closed at 9. Yup, I should've checked. So this review is based on almost closing time. But nonetheless we were seated with no problem. Waitress was very efficient. She noticed our special needs son and was understanding and kind to him. Salad bar was nothing grand, but it was enough and very clean. We got the end of the night batch, but again everything was clean and they left the bar up until the last minute. Am sure if we were there earlier it would have been full. Wife had the chicken picatta with linguine. Sauce a little "oniony" for her taste, but she still enjoyed. I was torn between a burger and steak and potatoes, so I just got the chopped steak and potato. Mushrooms sauce was on the cold side, but again not bad. Son had the chicken fingers and fries. On the portion side, theirs are plentiful. Especially the Chicken fingers (huge). The ambiance was nostalgic, the food and the service was very good. (Sorry I missed servers name she was great). Overall I'm glad we made the stop.

It's one of those places where you pause for a second, take it in, and realize this isn't meant to be rushed. Yes, the prices might give a day-tripper a moment of reflection. They didn't bother me. At this point in my life, I don't care what strangers think about prices. What you're paying for here is the experience and it starts with the menu. Reading about the drinks, understanding from the waitress how they're infused, what goes into them, and then tasting them...that's half the fun. These aren't "order and forget" cocktails. They're meant to be considered and enjoyed. They're gorgeous to look at too!! Frankly, how great would it be if they offered a flight of drinks? A way to really explore what Vine Room is trying to communicate to the customer. Because the drinks are that good, thoughtful, balanced, memorable. You don't just drink them. You notice them! Jesus, another tag line I'm giving you guys!! Hire me.. Hire me.. The atmosphere hits exactly where it should. Music at the perfect volume. Not crowded. No fighting for attention or waving frantically to get another drink. Service is attentive. And those potato chips? Just salty enough to keep everyone ordering another round. Now, one small annoyance, the dress code. It's listed as Semi-formal Chic with no ballcaps, no athletic wear, no sleeveless shirts. Yet we saw shorts and sneakers slide through because they were attached to a rich mommy and daddy. Fine but I liked looking at the beautiful people more than spoiled kids (over 21 just attached to mom and dad). All that said, this place is far more than its current 3.6 stars on Yelp. Vine Room is one of those spots where you either get it and you'll be back, or you tried it once, didn't understand it, and went online to bash it for no real reason. And that's fine, not every place is for everyone. But if you want really good drinks, exceptional service, and an outstanding sense of comfort and vibe, Vine Room on 5th is absolutely worth your time and your money.

The chartreuse colored chairs and gorgeous stained glass lights told me instantly that we came to the right place. Today, we attempted to have lunch at The Speakeasy. We've heard mixed reviews from other residents. However, we like to form our own opinions so we thought we'd give it a try. What a mistake. Walking into the bar/restaurant, a handwritten sign told us to seat ourselves. So, walking towards their outside area, we were hit by a wall of cigarette smoke. No biggie. It's outdoors. Not ideal but whatever. It IS mostly a bar. So, we picked a table. On our way to sit down, a server walking past mumbled a hello and kept walking. So, we said hi and sat at a table. The server then stood several feet away and just stared at us. Literally, did not move. Not even to take care of other tables, which we noticed after a time, were just sitting there not receiving service as well. So, we waited. ...and waited. 10 minutes later, and the server never moved. Ultimately, we decided to leave. As my husband and I stood up and began walking out, the server reached behind her and grabbed two menus, watching us the entire time. She then said, "Sorry folks. Have a great day." Wow. Off season, places like this depend on locals to keep their businesses afloat. With the kind of attitude and service we received, we won't be back.
