DO NOT GO HERE. They do not take the time to care for your eyebrows and they took off half of my brows thickness even though I told them to leave my brows thick. I have never had eyebrows this thin in my life and they aren't even either. I knew something was wrong when she was done with one eyebrow in less than a minute and the positioning where I felt it was wrong. This was also the most painful threading I've ever had. I used to love, and even recommended it to my best friend. Unfortunately I had a very traumatic experience last visit on a Saturday afternoon. The lady doing my eyes brows was so harsh she even cut me with the thread. She blamed it on me saying I wasn't hiding the eyelid correctly. I bled. I totally freaked out when I saw blood on my eyelid. It was so upsetting because I had had really good experience ms before. I don't recall the name of the lady, but she sure was rushing, mistreated me and hurt my eyelid. I'm so disappointed:(. I have very fizzy dry hair. It used to take me at least 30 mins to straighten my hair every morning. I went to get a smoothing shampoo treatment which gets rid or minimize frizziness. I'm was super impressed and happy the way my hair turned out, the first time I washed my hair after the treatment it literally just took me 12 mins to straighten my hair. My hair felt so smooth and shiny! They take their time when working with you, educating you about the product/process, and super sweet. This is not a chemical treatment, it's safe, and very inexpensive. I would absolutely recommend this place. read more

Went in to for some brow maintenance and the aesthetician asked me if it was my first time then proceeded to very painfully and quickly thread my brows. I have several cuts on my brow bone now - this phenomenon seems to be unique to this place (other places I've been to, I haven't had that problem). It's quite frustrating not to mention how the lady didn't even offer aloe vera at the end or a tissue when my eyes started tearing up all over the place (happens everytime I thread). I give this visit 4 stars for the shape of my brows and 1 star for the customer service and aftereffect of multiple cuts. I thought that because there was no wait (and no other customers waiting behind me) that it'd be a safe bet to get my brows done from any aesthetician. I had a wonderful experience here today. I walked in without an appt for a first ever eyebrow threading because my eyebrows were in terrible shape from months of neglect. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I left a very pleased customer. Mary did the threading and I will definitely ask for her again. I actually ended up doing a full face threading with tinting on my eyebrows since they are fairly sparse. Everyone there was very friendly and their prices are very reasonable as well. I am sorry but got my valima make up from here back in 2009! Was probably the worst decision on my part. The lady kept getting mad at me for washing my hair that day, well I got married the day before, I don't know what she was expecting me to do. Asked for olive green smokey eyes and when I opened my eyes they were PINK! Told her I wanted matte lipstick and she kept putting on gloss. When I asked her again she took a brush and brushed on some blush on my lips. It was ridiculous! The only reason I am giving it 2 stars and not 1 star is because it was back in 2009 and I am HOPING they have gotten a whole lot better! read more

This place is legit. I only been here once but 1st impression makes a big difference. The lady who did my eyebrow threading was very detailed. She wanted to make sure I look good. She didn't argue with me that I wanted my eyebrows thinner and less pointy like other places. They have a punch card for loyal customers. Each eyebrow threading service is $7. I have been going here since last year, i like how they do brows. Until today, i got my eyebrows done and i told the lady (might i add this is the first time EVER that i have ever had a concern and said something) that she removed the arch on my left eyebrow and that the right and left are not the same. She kept telling me it was the same and wasn't even looking at my arch she kept pointing at my ends and i told her over 3 times . and then she called someone over and she told me the same thing again. THE PROBLEM was when she literally grabbed my chin and yanked it and started being rough. Then she grabbed my eyebrows and lifted up my skin so rough and then stabbed my left cheek with something she was holding bc she was being so rough . I pushed her hand away and was shocked and leaned away from her and looked at her and she said "sorry". then someone else came who was nicer and usually does my brows . i was so upset i told my mom about it 5 hours later and i also walked out without even punching my punchcard bc i was so shocked how rude she was. she didnt even sanitize her hands before she touched me and the way she rough handled my face was so offending i wanted to slap her hand away. but didnt. go to Yasmeens on mason road, i don't think i will come back after the rude service today. read more

I am such a huge fan of Sheila s! I get my threading and hair done there and love it ! Marium, Jeet, and Fauzia are so sweet and take there time to give you the results you want. I went early on a Monday so I only had to wait less than 5minutes. My overall experience was pretty good. The only service I did was eyebrow threading. I had a lot to work with because I haven't done my eyebrows in half a year but the woman who did them left them looking very clean. A bit too thin for my taste but that's partially my fault because I didn't give much direction on what kind of look I was going for. After 3 months of ignored eyebrows due to maternity leave, I felt like it would be best to have a little somethin' done before returning to work, lest they no longer recognize me. After the great reviews I decided to check out Sheila's. The price was great-- $5 for both eye brows plus I got my upper lip done too, as they had a credit card minimum. However... I would have to say it hurt like hell. I had never had threading done before and assumed it would be similar to waxing, however I found it much more painful. It was quick and I have been happy with how long the results last, however I am a little terrified of returning. Also-- the fact that they use the thread that was just in their mouths kinda weirds me out. It was disapointing that, after the pain and 3 months of growth, Sheila still stated that I needed to grow my eyebrows out more before she could do any real shaping. Dear Lord!! I am so very picky with both & I don't trust easily, but after some research I decided to come give them a try... & I was not disappointed! I have been coming to this place for over a year, but today they told me my rewards card was "from the old location" and I had to start over with a new card to get my free eyebrow threading. I can't explain how wonderful Shelia's Hair Salon is! I first went to Shelia's to get my hair dyed purple and it lasted longer than I expected and I had people (even strangers) asking me where I had it done. After my hair, I saw a sign in the salon that said "nose piercings and ear piercings" which is so great because I much rather have nice ladies pierce my nose than a piecing parlor! I had my nose pierced at Shelias and it was actually so seamless and easy, also at a reasonable price as well. Next, my friend and I got henna on the palms of our hands which we will come in and get more often because the detailing and color is lovely. I'm definitely coming in once a month for something because Shelia's Hair and Threading has so many amazing things to offer that i can't get enough of it! I got micro blading done on my eyebrows and also a smoothing treatment on my air since it is so frizzy! The ladies at the Salon were so sweet and respectful.
